1. Brannan & Mycroft’s Supetas Boys Are Back in Town. 6 mth old brown who was a comfortable winner in this class for me and I thought he showed great promise. Excelling for type, so good to go over and such a lovely outline with lean neck of correct length to balance, firm topline with slight slope, good croup and tail set. Head of good proportions and planes, expressive almond-shaped eyes, flat cheeks and scissor bite. Good angles front and rear and stands on super feet. Sound, free action. Best Puppy Dog.
2. Groves, Christensen & Lafford’s Lateagain Starstruck. Just coming up to 9 mths this brown is very different to the winner and out of a larger mould but obviously there is an age difference. Square in outline with lean neck of good length, short back, rib developing well for age, firm croup and tail good for set and carriage. Very nice head and expression with correct proportions and planes, slight stop and good eye and ear. He stands true in front on good feet but not quite the angles of winner.
3. Luther’s Supeta's Langlore Renegade

1. Groves, Christensen & Lafford’s Lateagain Starstruck
2. Edyveane & Hunt’s Virsco Vagabond. 11 mth old brown who was well handled here. Pleasing neck, short back and tail of good carriage but topline not quite that of winner. Masculine headpiece with good eye and ear, flat cheeks and scissor bite but preferred planes of 1. Firm hindquarters with well turned stifles and he goes well when viewed in profile and was also true on the down and back.

1. Webb & Mullins’ Bih Ch Protocol’s The Midas Touch (Imp Usa) JW. Striking 17 mth old black who presented such a good outline with excellent neck, short back with slight slope, deep brisket, muscular loin and docked tail. Quality head and expression with good proportions and planes, expressive almond-shaped eyes, flat cheeks and scissor bite. Good angles front and rear, standing true in front on excellent feet and with well developed forechest. Goes very well on the go around and was very well handled here.
2. Brough, Brough & Brannan’s Supeta's Miami Heat for Aniiraz. Approaching 14 mths, this black is a hefty lad but has lots to like. A different type to the winner but he also pleased for outline with lean neck of good length to balance, correct topline and croup and tail of good set. Masculine headpiece with clean flat skull which is proportionate in length to that of muzzle, excellent planes and ears set on well. Carrying good bone, he has correct angles both ends, stands straight in front on very good feet and has a nice depth of chest. Moves very well when settled.
3. Moore’s Tuwos National Hero (IKC)
YD (5,0)
1. Reid’s Dobshangrila Xavi (Imp Ikc). 21 mth old black who appealed for type and scored in outline with good length of neck, short back with slight slope from withers to croup, nice spring of rib with deep brisket, good underline and tail pleased for set and carriage. Masculine head and expression with good proportions, parallel planes and good eye and ear. Given his correct construction, he was good to go over and he strands true on excellent feet and is well developed in forechest. When gaiting he possesses great freedom of movement.
2. Kent, Kent & Sutton’s Korifey Reckless JW. 18 mth old black who has lots to like. Lean neck of good length to give balance, short back with slight slope which gives correct square appearance, firm croup and good tail but just a tad heavy over loin and not quite the underline of winner. Quality headpiece with proportionate skull and muzzle lengths, slight stop, good planes and very nice eye and ear. Shoulders well laid back, nice straight forelegs, very good feet and firm muscular hindquarters. Another who goes so well and really opens up when viewed in profile.

1. Wright’s Kitado Ever So Funky. 3 yr old brown who presented a nice square outline and was good to go over. Fairly long, lean neck, short back with slight slope from withers to croup, ribbed well back, short loin and tail set on well. Nicely proportioned head with parallel planes, almond-shaped eyes, good ears and scissor bite. Well-muscled all through, standing straight in front on nice compact feet but would like to see a tad more turn of stifle. Moves very well when going away and although straight when coming towards, he is a tad wider.

1. Griffiths’ Korifey Axl at Amious JW. I particularly liked the first and second in this class. This 18 mth old black came out on top and he was so good to go over. Super outline with clean neck of good length to balance, correct topline, well-muscled loin, good croup and underline. Pleasing angles front and rear, straight forelegs, excellent feet and well developed forechest. Quality head and expression with a very nice eye and ear and correct dentition. Moves freely all through and covered plenty of ground. Presented with excellent muscle-tone.
2. Brown’s Jojavik Shaken Not Stirred JW. 20 mth old black who was close up to the winner and so very well handled here. All male and carries such good bone and he too was a pleasure to get hands on. Very good in outline with muscular, lean neck, slight slope to topline from withers to croup, firm loin and tail good for set and carriage. Head of good proportions and planes, correct eye shape and dark enough, flat cheeks and scissor bite. Standing straight in front on correct feet and with good forechest development. This boy also was a pleasure to watch on the go around.
3. Evans’ Amazon Showtime
LD (3,1)
1. Plowman’s Supeta's Pocketful of Glory JW. Two very different black males challenged in this class and my winner was this 3 yr old. Somewhat difficult to go over given his handler’s over-use of bait. Masculine throughout, good length of neck, nice and square but topline not quite perfect, deep brisket and well-muscled loin. Head of good proportions with parallel planes, slight stop, very nice eye for shape and colour, ears set on high and good dentition. Well off for bone and with good angulation both ends. Moved out freely.
2. Weston’s Lateagain Let Them All Talk JW. 3 yr old who was very well handled but has more length than the winner and therefore presents a somewhat different outline. He has a lean neck of good length, nice depth to chest, pleasing rib, slight slope to topline from withers to croup and tail good for set and carriage. Attractive head with masculine expression, good eye and ear and scissor bite. Standing true in front on well arched feet and well-muscled all through. Moving pretty well.
OD (8,0)
1. Jones & Ushakova’s Ch/Lux Ch Korifey Vanquish. Quality 4 yr old black who was an absolute delight to go over. He presented a super outline and is all male yet has the desired elegance of the breed. Lean neck of good length to give balance, short back with characteristic topline, deep brisket, first class ribbing, muscular loin, good underline, firm croup and tail good for both set and carriage. The very best of heads with a super expression; correct proportions and planes, slight stop, dark almond-shaped eyes, flat cheeks and scissor bite. He was first in line when construction was being dished out; standing true in front on excellent feet with a well developed forechest and the very best of rears. On the move, he covers the ground with ease and was accurate on the down and back. CC & BOB and pleased to see he later made the Group shortlist.
2. Hunt & Flitcroft’s Tuwos Mr Majestik Vonsallate. 2 yr old brown who really has to be gone over to be fully appreciated. All male, carrying good bone and presenting a nice square outline but not quite the elegance of winner. Neck of good length to balance, short back which slopes slightly towards his well-filled croup, good depth to chest and well sprung ribs, muscular loin and tail of correct set. Quality head with masculine expression; skull and muzzle proportionate in length, slight stop, good planes and very nice eye and ear. Super front assembly, elbows close to the body, standing straight on well arched feet and firm, well-muscled hindquarters with good turn of stifle. Moves well all through and made the most of himself at all times. RCC.
3. Mclaren’s Aritaur Invincible at Teuschon

1. Groves, Lafford & Lafford’s Lateagain Satisfaction JW ShCEx VW. 7 yr old black who disappointingly was the only veteran present on the day. Full of himself and therefore showing to advantage and with lots to like. He pleased in outline with lean neck of good length to balance, short back, nice deep brisket, muscular loin and tail set and carried correctly. Nicely proportioned head with parallel planes, expressive eyes, ears set on high and good dentition. He stands straight in front on compact feet and has enough forechest. Moves out well when viewed in profile and is straight when coming towards but just a fraction wider. Best Veteran and I see he later went on to take Veteran Group 2.

1. Jones’ Supetas Waiting for An Alibi from Korifey. 6 mth old brown who was the easy winner here for me. I thought she excelled in outline with each part flowing smoothly into the next; super neck, short back with characteristic slope, firm croup, good underline and tail pleased for both set and carriage. Well proportioned feminine headpiece with parallel planes, expressive almond-shaped eyes, flat cheeks and scissor bite. Carrying good bone and with pleasing angles both ends, particularly impressing in the rear, straight forelegs and super feet. Quite the standout on the go around. Best Puppy and later went on to top the Puppy Group.
2. Nicol’s Supeta's Black Rose at Evnjays. Black who turned out to be the litter sister to 1. She was good to go over and presented the desired square outline of the breed; neck of correct length to balance, slight slope to topline, pleasing rib development for age and muscular loin. Head of good proportions with feminine expression; correct planes, excellent eye for shape and colour, smaller ears than winner which are carried ok and correct dentition. She stands true in front on compact feet and certainly didn’t let herself down when gaiting.
3. Jervier’s Grafmax Prettiest Star
PB (6,2)
1. Pardoe’s Aritaur Daring at Dobiedar. 9 mth old black who really did appeal and was so good hands on. I thought her a super type and she scored in outline with fairly long, lean neck, short back with slight slope from withers to croup, very nice ribbing for age, good underline, firm croup and good tail. Feminine head which is well proportioned and with parallel planes, lovely eye and ear and flat cheeks. She has good bone and is well made all through and has particularly good front assembly. Moves out freely and was well handled. Very close up to the MP winner in the challenge.
2. White & Hunt’s Virsco Velocity. This 11 mth old black was another who pleased. Not quite the bone of 1 but she presented a lovely balanced outline with lean neck, firm topline, good depth to chest and tail correct for set and carriage. Nicely proportioned head with feminine expression; almond-shaped eyes, good ears and scissor bite. Shoulders well laid, straight forelegs, well arched feet and firm muscular hindquarters. Moving freely with good carriage and well handled.

1. Mycroft’s Imidz Lady Melody of Supeta (Imp Lva). I felt this was a somewhat varied class and it gave me much to think about. My winner was this 13 mth old brown who scored here in overall outline and elegance and was good to go over. Super neck, short back with slight slope from the withers to croup, nice spring of rib, good underline, firm croup and tail pleased for set and carriage. Most attractive head with good proportions and planes, lovely eye and ear, flat cheeks and good dentition. She stands well naturally in front and has a well developed forechest but would prefer better feet. Goes so well when viewed in profile.
2. Wall’s Perardua Amaris. 18 mth old black who was close up to the winner but quite different and she is a heavier build all through. She was also nice to go over and of sound construction. Neck of good length to balance, correct topline, deep brisket, muscular loin and tail of good set and carriage. Quality head with parallel planes, super eye and ear, slight stop and scissor bite. She impressed for front assembly and is well developed in forechest, stands on very good feet and moved out with a lovely length of stride. Well handled.
