1. Doyle’s Bracciano Never Too Late. 6 mth old dog pup. Only a baby but this boy shows much promise. He appealed for type and presented a pleasing outline with correct length of neck to balance, firm topline, rib developing well for age and tail of good carriage. Attractive head with divergent planes, expressive eyes, ears of correct set, roman nose and correct dentition. Pleasing angles front and rear and he stands true in front on good feet. Moving pretty well all through. Super temperament. Best Special Beginners and pleased to see he later went Special Beginners Group 3.

1. Pearson’s Kelevra Bacchustabio. 16 mth old who unfortunately was somewhat unsettled on the day. He pleased for type, carries good bone and presented a very nice outline. Muscular neck of correct length, firm topline, good depth to chest, excellent ribbing, breadth to loin and tail of good carriage. Masculine headpiece with ears of correct set, lean cheeks and good dentition but planes not quite those of the Open winner. He stands well in front with well developed forechest and is well-muscled all through. Impressed on the go around with correct action and carriage of the breed and has an excellent rear. Reserve Best Dog.

1. Sladden’s Sh Ch Valcor The Confessor at Canemamans JW ShCEx. Quality 3 yr old boy who was so good hands on. All male, carrying super bone. Powerful neck of good length to balance, firm topline, deep brisket, super ribbing, muscular loin with breadth and tail good for set and carriage. Well proportioned head with masculine expression; divergent planes, clean oval-shaped eyes, ears set on just right and scissor bite. Good angles front and rear and he stands true in front on well arched feet. Covers the ground with characteristic gait and uses himself as he goes. Well handled. Best Dog & BOB.

1. Critchley’s Bracciano Now Or Never. This 6 mth old pup turned out to be litter sister to the Puppy Dog winner. This girl also shows much promise and was good to go over. Feminine all through, she presented a balanced outline with correct length of neck, firm topline and tail good for set and carriage. Attractive head with correct proportions and planes, oval-shaped eyes of acceptable colour, ears of correct set and good dentition. She pleased for bone and has good angles both front and rear and she moved out well when settled. Best Puppy.

1. Hurst’s You Can Crown The Queen Naf. Two very different bitches challenged here with my winner found in this 2 yr old. Carrying good bone, she pleased in outline, being almost square and was good hands on. Correct, moderately short neck, firm topline, deep chest, well ribbed back and tail of good carriage. Feminine head of good proportions and planes, very good eye, ears set on well and scissor bite. Good angles both ends and stands true on excellent feet. Moves out well on the go around with good carriage. Best Bitch.

2. Pearson’s Swiss Ch Kelevra Covo Di Ladri JW. 3 yr old who has lots to like but she is a tad more refined than the winner. Neck of correct length to provide balance, firm topline, good depth to chest, pleasing rib and tail correct for both set and carriage. Head of good proportions and with divergent planes, oval-shaped eyes, ears set on with level of eye and good dentition but preferred overall expression of 1. Well laid shoulders, straight forelegs and stands on good feet. Moving well all through. Very well handled. Reserve Best Bitch.
