1. Downes’ Milwyr Babbo Natale. I thought this 2 yr old so good for type, well boned and he was pleasing to go over. Muscular neck of moderate length, firm topline, good depth to chest, strong rump and tail good for both set and carriage. Well proportioned head with super expression; almond-shaped eyes of good colour, ears of correct set, good dentition and nice dark pigmentation. Pleasing angles front and rear and he moved out freely on the go around. Not quite in full coat but deserving of Best Dog & BOB today.

1. Downes’ Milwyr Winter Mist. 2 yr old who appealed for type and presented a pleasing outline with clean neck of moderate length, correct topline, good length to ribcage but could have more depth to brisket, firm loin and tail set on low. Feminine headpiece of good proportions, super eye and ear and scissor bite. Nice length of stride when viewed in profile and went well on the down and back too, albeit a tad closer in the rear. Blowing coat right now.

1. Cummings’ Milwyr Fyrefly. 3 yr old who has a super head and expression; conical in shape as called for in the standard, good skull to muzzle proportions, dark almond-shaped eyes, close fitting lips and nice dark pigmentation. Neck of medium length, firm topline, good depth to chest and tail set on low and of correct carriage. Pleasing angulation both ends but could have a tad more breadth in front. She went well on the go around but could firm up behind. Reserve Best Bitch.

1. Atkins’ Zaffiro Bianco at Silvermere. I thought this 7 yr old quite lovely and she was so good to go over. Strongly built, yet retaining femininity. Balanced in outline with moderate length of neck, firm topline, excellent ribbing and tail correct for both set and carriage. Most attractive head with super eye and ear, correct dentition and excellent pigmentation. Good angles front and rear and moved out freely with good carriage. Very well handled. Best Bitch & Best Veteran.
