1. Hall, Bell & Ellis’ Shenedene The Gambler with Vallena. 10 mth old parti-colour who got the day off to a super start. Sturdy youngster who pleased in outline with nicely arched neck, firm topline, rib developing well for age and tail set on high. Head of good proportions with dark, oval-shaped eyes, strength to underjaw and good dentition. Soundly constructed with particularly impressive front assembly and moved out freely with good carriage. Very well presented. Best Puppy and pleased to see that he later took Puppy Group 2.

1. Clutterbuck & Jackson’s Myakara Maximilian. 12 mth old with lots to like. He presented a nicely balanced outline with well arched neck of moderate length, level topline, ribbing carried well back and tail set on high and of good carriage. Quality head with delightful expression; good proportions, best of eyes and correct dentition. Shoulders well laid and elbows close to the body, just had a tad more width in front. Goes so well on the go around and true behind without exaggerated kick up. Good quality coat.

1. Birkett’s Sifrasons Take It Easy. 3 yr old who pleased for overall type and presented a nice outline with arched neck of correct length to balance, firm topline and tail good for both set and carriage. Head of good proportions with moderately narrow skull, oval-shaped eyes and correct mouth. Pleasing layback of shoulder and good return of upper arm enabling him to open up on the go around. He has a little more breadth in front than preferred but front action is more than ok. Coat of good texture.

2. Carrick’s Carribae Theodore. 22 mth old parti-colour who is heavier all through than the winner. Neck of medium length, level topline, ribbed well back, firm loin and tail set on high. Good skull to muzzle proportions but tad more breadth to skull, pleasing eye and good dentition. Would like a little more length to upper arm and as such he didn’t have quite the front extension of winner, however he was true behind.

1. Hattrell’s Ithera In Your Dreams at Khinjan JW. A varied class with four quite different dogs present. My winner was this 20 mth old who scored here hands-on. He presented a nicely balanced outline with arched neck of moderate length, firm level topline, good length to ribcage and tail set on well and of good carriage. Quality head of correct proportions, super expressive eyes and good underjaw. Pleasing angles front and rear with pleasing forechest and elbows held close to the chest. Free moving lad who used himself as he went. Excellent coat and presentation.

2. Lightfoot’s Dardanelles Prime Suspect for Telshotbriar. 4 yr old out of a larger mould but he was also good to go over. Well arched neck of correct length to balance, level topline, pleasing rib, firm loin and high set tail. Well proportioned, masculine headpiece with oval-shaped eyes and good dentition. Soundly built all through, elbows close to the body and standing nice and straight in front. Good quality coat.

3. Hazelhurst’s Corrolls Easy Rider JW

1. Walker & Hattrell’s Petwalk He's A Cracker at Khinjan. Quality 3 yr old who really did appeal. I thought him so good for type and he was a delight to go over. Sturdily built and presenting a super outline with nicely arched neck of correct length to provide balance, level back, excellent ribbing, firm loin and tail set on high and of good carriage. Most attractive head with moderately narrow skull, pendant ears set just above eye level, expressive oval-shaped eyes, correct length to muzzle and strength to chin. Shoulders well laid, straight forelegs and firm, muscular hindquarters. Certainly didn’t disappoint when gaiting and was very well presented. CC which gave him his title, I was informed.

2. Clutterbuck & Cain’s Ch Kutani Hamilton JW. 4 yr old who was hot on the heels of the winner and he too, was so good hands-on. Beautifully balanced with well arched neck of moderate length, firm level topline, good length to ribcage, firm loin and well-feathered tail set on high. First class head and expression with correct skull, moderate stop, super eyes, pendant ears and good underjaw. Well made both front and rear and gaiting freely on the down and back and so good on the go around too. Good quality coat and very well handled. RCC.

3. Connett & Clutterbuck’s Kutani Daredevil

1. Birkett’s Sifrasons Take It Easy. Best Special Beginners and later took 2nd in the Special Beginners Group.

2. Considine’s Denzka Sunshine of my Life. 17 mth old bitch. Feminine all through and with a pleasing outline. Neck of moderate length, level topline and well feathered tail of good set and carriage. Head of good skull to muzzle proportions, eyes good for both shape and colour, pendant ears and correct dentition. Would like a little more breadth in front but she moves true when coming and going. Could extend a tad more on the go around.

1. Hall & Wiltshire’s Shenedene Two Faced with Thwaitlake. Two nice but different puppies challenged here with my winner being this 10 mth old. Pleasing for type, she was good to go over and presented a nicely balanced outline with medium length of neck, firm topline, excellent ribbing for age, strong loin and tail set on high. Feminine head of good proportions, super expressive eyes and correct dentition. Good angulation front and rear and she moved out on the go around. Best Puppy Bitch.

2. Clutterbuck’s Timazinti Gin Fizz. Scopey 9 mth old who also pleased and should do very well. Well arched neck, level topline, ribbing carried well back, firm loin and nice high set tail. I thought her head and expression quite lovely; good skull to muzzle proportions, moderate stop, eyes of correct shape and excellent mouth. Pleasing angles both front and rear and moves true when coming and going. Moves out well on the go around but winner just had the edge.

1. Taylor & Johnson’s Wrenwrox Royal Gem avec Sifrason JW. Feminine 15 mth old who pleased for type and presented a lovely outline. Arched neck of correct length to balance, firm topline and well-feathered tail set on high. Well-proportioned head with moderately narrow skull and falling away as desired behind her expressive oval-shaped eyes, moderate stop and good dentition. Moderate ribbing which could extend a little further. Gaiting so well when viewed in profile and makes full use of herself as she goes. Good coat and presentation.

2. Considine’s Denzka Sunshine of my Life

1. Lock’s Littondale Lyrabelle. 2 yr old who appealed for overall type and presented such a good outline with nicely arched neck of moderate length, level topline with correct ribbing, firm loin and well-feathered tail set on high and of good carriage. Most attractive headpiece with feminine expression; moderately narrow skull, oval-shaped eyes of good colour, strength to underjaw and good dentition. Pleasing angles front and rear and moves out well with excellent carriage. Good quality coat and excellent presentation. RCC.

2. Moorby’s Alamiks Force of Nature into Swandown. 21 mth old with plenty to like and although she pleased in outline, the winner had the edge for me. Neck of correct length to balance, firm level back, moderate spring of rib, loin a tad longer, tail set on high and of good carriage. Feminine head with good skull to muzzle proportions, pendant ears of correct set and expressive oval-shaped eyes. Moving out nicely on the go around. Good texture to coat.

3. Carrick’s Carribae Sundream

LB (2,1)

1. Wiehe’s Khinjan Waltzing Matilda to Lisimo. This 3 yr old has the most amazing temperament and her tail never stopped! Quite a scopey girl with well arched neck, firm topline, good length to ribcage and tail set on high and of good carriage. Nicely proportioned head with feminine expression, moderate stop, oval-shaped eyes of good colour, ears of correct set, good underjaw and dentition. She could use a little more breadth in front but she went very well on the go around and used herself fully. Good quality coat.

OB (4,1)

1. Hall’s Ch Shenedene Copy And Paste JW. Just coming up to 2 yrs, this girl was a pleasure to go over. I thought her correct for type and beautifully balanced with the very best of outlines. Super neck, level topline, first class ribbing, short in the couplings and well-feathered tail set on high and of good carriage. Feminine headpiece of correct proportions, correct fall behind her dark, oval-shaped eyes, good underjaw and correct dentition. Shoulders well-laid, elbows close to the body, straight forelegs and firm, muscular hindquarters with good turn of stifle. She is quite something on the move and makes the most of herself as she goes. Quality coat of correct texture, so very well presented and her colouring is the icing on the cake! CC & BOB and delighted to see her end the day by taking Group 1.

2. Lock’s Khinjan Gabriella at Littondale. This 4 yr old is another who pleased for type and she appealed for balance and outline with nicely arched neck of moderate length, correct topline, good length to ribcage, firm loin and tail set on nice and high. Well proportioned head with characteristic expression of the breed; oval-shaped eyes and pendant ears of correct set. Well constructed all through and moved out freely on the go around with good carriage. Coat of correct texture. Very well handled.
