1. Paul’s Betledgan Prince Merjin. This 10 mth old pup was not at all settled on the table and difficult to go over. Having said that he pleased for overall type and outline with lean neck of good length, firm topline, ribbing carried well back and tail set on high. Well proportioned head, good eye and ear and correct dentition. Stands straight in front and has good feet. Moves true fore and aft but could extend more on the go around. Fine, soft skin and good crest.

1. Moyes, Shaw & Hunter-Ryan’s Bryelis The Star Man. 11 mth old powderpuff winning what was a rather diverse class. He pleased for type and although he is a smidge longer, I liked his outline, having a good length of neck, level back with good length to ribcage and tail set high and of correct carriage. Nicely proportioned head with good eye and ear and scissor bite. Pleasing angles front and rear and went very well on the go around. Good quality coat. Very well handled. Best Puppy Dog.

2. Godfrey, Peacock & Hellmuth’s Shumllea Imagine A Dream. Just coming up to 12 mths, this powderpuff is quite different in type to the winner but he was also good to go over. Neck of good length, level topline, excellent ribbing, firm loin and tail set on high but not quite carriage of winner. Attractive head with good skull to muzzle proportions, dark expressive eyes and ears good for size and set. He stands straight in front on correct feet and is well muscled all through. Moves out freely when viewed in profile.

Balanced headpiece with eyes of good colour, large ears of correct set and flat cheeks flowing smoothly into muzzle. Good angles front and rear, straight forelegs and good feet. Good quality skin and excellent crest. Accurate on the down and back and opens up well on the go around.

1. Loader’s Habiba Gotham Knight for Kettrice. This was a good sized class but was really quite varied in both type and quality. This 2 yr old hairless came out on top and has so much to like. Quality headpiece with correct proportions, almond-shaped eyes, well-fringed large ears of correct set, lean cheeks flowing smoothly into muzzle and good dentition.
