MPD (4,2)

1. Harkins’ Kiarzo Side by Side. I thought this 8 mth old pup most promising, pleasing for type and good to go over. He presented a nicely balanced outline with slightly arched neck, firm topline, super ribbing for age, short loin and tail set on low. Quality head with good skull, correct proportions, expressive eyes, ears of correct set, muzzle of good width and pleasing dentition. Good angles front and rear and stands on compact feet. Moving well all through and using himself as he goes. Best Puppy.

2. Turner’s Geesecos Private Dancer. This 8 mth old is still very immature and therefore needs more time. Pleasing neck and topline but not quite rib of winner. Skull of square appearance, eyes placed well apart, relatively short muzzle of good depth but ear carriage not as good as 1. He stands true in front and is good in forechest for age. When gaiting he goes well on the go around and is true when going away. Just needs to tighten in front.

1. Dearn’s Blossoms & Beaus Special Bud for Roxxilu (Imp Usa). Two very different youngsters challenged in this class. My winner was this 15 mth old. Out of a smaller mould than 2nd, he was very good to go over. He pleased for outline with slightly arched neck of correct length to balance, firm topline, ribbed well back, short loin, good rump and tail set on low. Pleasing head and expression, expressive eyes placed well apart, ears good for size and set and square muzzle. Standing on compact feet and went particularly well on the go around.

2. Keenan’s Chelmbull Return of The Mac at Nerros. Well-marked 17 mth old who also has lots to like. He presented a nice outline with correct length of neck, short back with firm topline, well sprung ribs, short in the couplings and rump curving slightly to low set tail. Masculine head of good proportions, expressive eyes, ears set on well and good width and depth to muzzle. He stands straight in front on good feet but came towards a tad wider and winner just had the edge on the go around.

PGD (3,1)

1. Wildman & Davis’ Wildax Rowendale Stan Francisco. This was another class where two completely differing boys competed. This 16 mth old was my winner. Up to size but he scored in outline being so good in neck and topline, correct curve to the rump and tail set on low. He was also good hands on and has a good length of ribcage, short loin and is well-muscled all through. Masculine headpiece with good skull to muzzle proportions, expressive eyes of good placement, ears set on well and good width and depth to his square muzzle. Stands well naturally and impressed on the go around.

2. Hughes’ Delaws Artistic Dreams at Beksam. This 3 yr old is nicely balanced with slightly arched neck, topline is a smidge soft but nothing untoward, good depth to chest, gently curved rump and correct low tail set. Not using his ears which didn’t help his cause but he has a nice flat skull, round eyes which are placed wide apart and overall good head proportions. Pleasing angles front and rear but I would like to see a tad more width in front. Gaiting well when viewed in profile.

LD (1,0)

1. Roulston’s Ivyjewel Dare to Dream. This 2 yr old pleased for overall type and balance and made the most of himself at all times. Slightly arched neck, firm topline, good depth to brisket, muscular loin but a smidge longer, gently curving rump and tail set on low. Nicely proportioned head with good skull, eyes placed wide apart, ears set on well and muzzle of good depth and width. Pleasing angles and stands with good width in front on compact feet. Goes very well on the go around.

OD (6,1)

1. Rankin’s Ch Wildax The Real Thing. A variety of different types but some pleasing males here. My winner was this 5 yr old who scored for overall type and presented a well-balanced, compact outline. Slightly arched neck, short back with firm topline, good length to ribcage, deep brisket, short muscular loin and curved rump leading to nice low tail set. Well proportioned, masculine head with expressive eyes placed well apart, ears good for size and set, square muzzle and good breadth to jaws. Standing well in front on compact feet and good turn of stifle with strongly muscled thighs. Moves out so well in profile with confident carriage and lovely firm hind action. Well handled. CC.

2. Bennett’s Ch Wildax Liverpool Lad at Boxbos. This 4 yr old is a similar stamp to the winner and I see they are father and son. This boy was presented in first class condition and so good to go over. Compact in outline with neck of correct length to give balance, firm topline, very good ribbing and loin and correct underline. Pleasing head with desired squareness, flat skull, super eye and ear and square muzzle but a tad shorter than that of 1. Super front assembly, standing straight on compact feet with moderate width and elbows close to sides. Goes so well when coming towards and when viewed in profile but winner had the edge going away. RCC.

3. Batey’s Ch Takaira American Avenger for Bronheim

VD (2,1)

1. Guy’s Wynele Trooping The Colour. 8 yr old who was very well handled here. He pleased for type and presented a good outline with super neck, firm topline, good depth to brisket, muscular loin but with a touch more length and tail set on low. Nicely proportioned head with muzzle of correct length, ears set on well, round eyes placed wide part and good width to jaw. Pleasing angles both ends and stands nice and straight in front. Moves pretty well all through and makes the most of himself as he goes.

MPB (1,0)

1. Weaver’s Kiarzo I See Stars. This 8 mth old pup is very much a baby but she shows much promise. Of excellent type and presenting a compact, well-balanced outline with slightly arched neck, firm topline, short in the couplings, slight curve to rump and tail set on low. Most attractive head with good eye and ear and muzzle of good width and depth. Standing true in front on super feet and moves freely all through. Well marked. Just needs to grow on.

PB (2,0)

1. Kennedy’s Antrix Sukey Tawdry. Two quite different youngsters challenged in this class with my winner being this 9 mth old. Super neck, firm topline, excellent ribbing for age, muscular loin and gentle curve to rump and tail of correct set. Feminine headpiece with flat skull, expressive eyes of good colour and placement and ears set on well. Soundly constructed all through, standing straight in front on very good feet and certainly didn’t let herself down on the move. Best Puppy Bitch.

2. Roulston’s Ivyjewel City of Dreams. 10 mth old who needs more time. Slightly arched neck of correct length to balance, firm topline and short loin. Feminine head with good skull, round eyes which are placed wide apart, ears set on high and square muzzle. She stands true in front but I would like to see a little more width to her all through. Driving well from the rear but overall action not that of winner.

JB (2,0)

1. Gunther’s Marann's Indiana at Chrissiguns JW. 15 mth old with lots to like. She presented a lovely outline with slightly arched neck of correct length to give balance, short back with firm topline, good depth to chest, short in the couplings and good rump and tail set. Feminine head and expression with square appearance to skull, very good eye and ear and good depth and width to muzzle. Pleasing angles both ends and stands well naturally on decent feet. Easy, free action and very well handled.

2. Laws’ Delaws Sassi Dreams. 13 mth old who was a late arrival in the class and obviously not entirely settled here. She is quite different to the winner and a little more refined but she is another with much to like. Pleasing outline with enough neck, short firm back, nice spring of rib, short loin and slight curve to rump leading to low set on. Attractive head with good eye and ear, relatively short muzzle and good breadth to jaw. Gaiting freely on the down and back but winner had the edge in profile.

YB (4,0)

1. James’ Aprika Fifth Avenue JW. A rather varied class which saw this 20 mth old come out on top. Compact in outline with slight arch to neck which is of sufficient length, excellent topline, well ribbed up, short in the couplings, gently curving rump and tail set on low. Feminine headpiece with for me, the best expression in the class; flat skull, super eye and ear and good depth and width to muzzle. Well made both front and rear and standing well naturally on very good feet. Comes into her own on the go around and moved freely on the down and back as well.

2. Rankin & Spenser’s Wildax Shut That Door. 18 mth old of different type to the winner. Nicely balanced with correct length of neck, short back with firm topline, ribs well sprung and ribcage of good length, short loin and good rump and tail. Attractive head with round eyes placed well apart, ears set on high and good breadth to muzzle and jaw. Stands well in front with correct width and had very nice hindquarters. She also moved freely and used herself but winner just had the edge. Well handled.

3. Jefferson & Smith’s Lovewell No Regrets

PGB (1,0)

1. Cox’s Bostontime Silver Lady. Well-marked 3 yr old of pleasing size with slightly arched neck, short back with firm topline and gentle curve to rump. Feminine head with good eye placement but not quite the squareness that I was looking for. Standing straight in front but would like to see a little more forechest development. Muscular hindquarters with good turn of stifle and hocks well let down. She goes so well when viewed in profile and carries herself well. Well handled.

LB (4,0)

1. Rodaway’s Marann's Ermintrude at Demorace. This was another class where I was presented with some very different exhibits. This 5 yr old came out on top, scoring for outline and head and expression. Compactly built with slight arch to neck, short back with level topline, correct curve to rump and tail set on low. Feminine head with ears placed wide apart, ears set on well and she has the desired squareness to muzzle. She stands straight in front with moderate width and has good feet. Moves freely. Well handled.

2. Harkins’ Metexa Moet Rose Imperial. 2 yr old who couldn’t be more different to the winner. A scopey girl with more neck, excellent topline, pleasing ribbing, muscular loin and gentle rounding to rump. Feminine headpiece with flat skull and round eyes of good placement but with a tad more muzzle than preferred. Soundly built both front and rear and she stands well naturally on good feet. Moves true both fore and aft and also goes well on the go around and shows like a dream.

3. Levene & Lewis’ Aprika Dallas

OB (5,0)

1. Kennedy’s Ch Esangee My Shining Star over Antrix. Some nice bitches challenged in this class with this 4 yr old taking the top spot. I thought her quite lovely and she appealed for size and presented a beautifully balanced, compact outline and additionally she was so good hands on. Slightly arched neck of correct length to balance, firm topline, first class ribbing, short well-muscled loin, slight curve to rump and tail set on low. Feminine headpiece with desired squareness, round expressive eyes placed wide apart and ears set on well. Soundly constructed all through, standing true in front on compact feet with moderate width and firm, muscular hindquarters. Free, easy action with excellent self carriage and so very well handled here. CC & BOB.

2. Rodaway’s Ch Marann's The Protester at Demorace. Well-marked 4 yr old who is quite different to the winner but another who pleased and was so good to go over. She presented a lovely outline with slight arch to neck, firm topline, deep brisket and rib extending well back, short loin and tail set on low. Head of good proportions, ears set on well, round eyes which blend with coat colour and of correct placement and good width and depth to muzzle. Excellent front assembly and firm well-muscled rear. Another who knows how to move and going particularly well on the go around. RCC.

3. Conway & Chapman’s Ch Norcairn Years N'Years JW

VB (1,0)

1. Walker’s Ch Image Catcher of Ziost. 7 yr old standing alone here but worthy of company. Compact girl of good type who was good to go over. She pleased in outline with correct length of neck, short back with firm topline, excellent ribbing and short in the couplings. Feminine head with desired square appearance, good skull, round eyes placed well apart, ears set on well and square muzzle but ideally could have a tad more length. Well made both ends and she stands straight in front on excellent feet and with moderate width. When gaiting, she moves true and uses herself as she goes. Best Veteran.
