Many thanks to the Officers and Committee of Border Union for the opportunity to judge my much loved breed at one of my favourite shows. As always I thank the exhibitors for the privilege of assessing their dogs and the good sportsmanship displayed when I made my decisions and awarded my placings. The dogs I assed were all of good type, displaying no exaggerated features. I would caution to watch out for movement. But it was encouraging to see some lovely youngsters, who I will follow with interest.

2ND 1848 - Jaschin Stop and Paws (Miss S H Harbron)

B/W male who is up to size. I preferred the head of the winner and his size. Nice round eye & correct expression. He has a good coat & topline and moves very well which gained him his place today.

1ST 1853 - Ch Anjuli Trevor ShCEx (Miss L Lindsay)

B/W fully mature male in fabulous condition. A very worthy Champion. He is in full bloom with a coat that has never looked or felt better. Beautiful male head which he uses to effect giving that aristocratic air. Well cushioned muzzle and correct eye, giving lovely expression. Super top line which was held when he moved around the ring with great style and elegance. No hesitation to award him DCC and subsequently BOB.

 2ND 1838 - Sharlarna's Chaos at Bellflows (Mrs G Blair)

Another B/W male who is in prime condition. I had seen this boy before but not for a while. He has matured wonderfully. Slightly smaller than one but a lot of the same comments apply. He pushed hard today but I just preferred the overall picture of one. Would be delighted to see him achieve his crown. RDCC.

 2ND 1842 - Cranvarl Eliza Doolittle (Mrs L Crane)

R/W 8 mth old. She had to give way to coat and maturity today, but there is a lot to like here. Lovely head with good cushioning and a nice eye. Presents a very nice picture on the table when stood. Moved out ok will settle more.

12 mth old B/W. Another beautifully presented from this kennel. A little unsettled. Typical head with required cushion to the muzzle. Round dark eye with enough white to give the astonished expression without being over done. Coat of good texture and moved with style when she settled.

1ST 1862 - Adreeam Highland Chincess (Mr R & Mrs J Potts)

 2ND 1852 - Sharlarna Conchita for Meglind (Mrs S E Lindley)

22 Mth old R/W. Not as confident as one. In good body and coat of correct texture. Moved a tad close behind but this could have been because she was clearly spooked by something, could do better on a different day.

2ND 1874 - Sangria Showtime of Pamojill (Mrs G M Swanston)

11yrs young B/W. Really great for her age, a credit to her owner & breeder. Pretty head, lovely coat and moved soundly. Lovely to see her.
