Thank you for the Boston Terrier Club of Scotland for inviting me to judge their Open Show. It was a well run show with a great atmosphere. Thank you also to my very capable steward Kim.

BABY PUPPY DOG (1/1)

1. Wildman & Davis’s CANMOY’S BOSTON COCO POPS AT WILDAX ROWANDALE (NAF)(TAF) Very promising baby who should have an exciting future. Attractive head with flat cheeks, correct bite & correct eyes. Still growing into ears, but correctly set. Good head carriage with short back and correct topline & tail set. Correct feet. Well marked and balanced standing & on the move. Best Baby Puppy

BABY PUPPY BITCH (1/1)

1. Walker’s BO KATAN OF KLAN KRYZE Charming baby who was enjoying herself and her toy. I could not assess her movement but she was having fun. Balanced head, again still growing into ears. Sweet girl.

MINOR PUPPY DOG (2/2)

1. Harrison & Stoner’s VICKVALLEY THE BIG DILL AT HONEYDUKES Head still developing but correct eye, ears & bite. Short backed, well marked. Good neck. A little unsettled on the move. Preferred overall balance to 2

2. Rees & Scott’s TALKACCATUR CRAZY HORSE (NAF) Larger type than 1. Not as short in back and also shorter in neck. Correct head shape with good bite, well positioned ears. Correct feet. Steady on the move.

PUPPY DOG (4/4)

1. Harkins’s KIARZO SIDE BY SIDE Balanced head with correct eyes & bite. Well positioned ears, flat cheeks. Lovely expression. Good neck, flowing into correct topline & tail set. Well marked, short backed. Steady on the move, I liked him a lot. Best Puppy

2. Turner’s GEESECOS PRIVATE DANCER Well marked boy Good head with short muzzle & correct shape eye, although could be darker. Good ears. Would prefer a little shorter in back, not as balanced as winner. Unsettled on the move.

JUNIOR DOG (3/2)

1. Jackson’s TIGRATO LOST PROPHET Well marked boy with correct eye shape, although it could be darker. Good bite. Short back, but topline unsettled on the move. Did not get into his stride.

2. Messenger’s TOMMYLEGS RING OF FIRE Balanced head with correct eye & ears. Larger type than 1 and longer in back. Good topline. Correct feet. Unsettled on the move. I preferred overall balance of 1.

POST GRADUATE DOG (4/4)

1. Dearn’s BLOSSOMS & BEAUS SPECIAL BUD FOR ROXXILU (IMP USA) Well marked boy with balanced head. Correct eye, ears, bite. Flat cheeks. Compact with short back, good neck, well laid shoulders, correct topline. Best mover in class.

2. Sambrook’s RINGABLOK KING OF STARS Larger type to 1. Balanced head with correct eye & bite. Good topline. Unsettled on the move.

3. Scott’s BOSTON ABBEY NICO FOR CLAYMURF (IMP POL)

LIMIT DOG (6/6)

1. Kennan’s CHELMBULL RETURN OF THE MAC AT NERROS Well marked boy who is balanced throughout. Well set ears, correct dark eye, good bite. Correct length neck flowing into good shoulders. Correct topline, short back. Correct feet. Best mover in class. Balanced standing & on the move. Lovely shape & make. A great deal to like about him. BD & BIS

2. Mair’s GLENAULD AMERICAN SNIPER Smart dog but I preferred the overall balance of 1. Lovely head with correct eye, bite and well set ears. Square outline, Good neck, correct topline & tail set. Correct feet. Steady on the move.

3. Wildman & Davis’s WILDAX ROWENDALE STAN FRANCISCO

OPEN DOG (1/1)

1. Sambrook’s ESANGEE YOUR MY STAR Balanced head with well positioned ears, correct eyes & good bite. Good tail set. Correct feet. Would prefer a little shorter in back for overall balance. Steady on move.

VETERAN DOG (1/1)

1. Harrison & Stoner’s CH EAIRYCOR CELTIC MANXSPIRIT This boy stood alone but I loved him. Beautiful head & expression with correct eye, ears & bite. Square head with short muzzle & flat cheeks. Balanced standing & on the move. Compact, short coupled. Well marked. Lovely outline and sound on move. RBD, BV & RBIS

MINOR PUPPY BITCH (1/1)

1. Schfaild’s VICKVALLY MISS CHICAGO SOUL Sweet baby. Well marked. Head still developing. Short muzzle. Good eye, correct bite. Well positioned ears. Short coupled. Good profile movement.

PUPPY BITCH (2/2)

1. Harkins’s KIARZO I SEE STARS Lovely puppy with balanced head. Short muzzle, flat cheeks. Correct eye shape, & well set ears. Short coupled with good topline & correct tail set. Correct feet. Moves well in profile. Well marked. Pushed her brother hard for BP, but had to give way to him today.

2. Jackson’s TIGRATO BLACK EAGLE Pretty head with good eye & short muzzle. Correct ears. Would have preferred a little shorter in back for overall balance. Moved freely in profile. A very nice puppy but I just preferred the overall shape & balance of winner.

JUNIOR BITCH (3/3)

1. Kennedy’s ANTRIX MISS LOTTIE LENYA AT POPINIX. Well marked girl, elegant & balanced throughout. Very pretty head with correct eye, ears & bite. Square outline with correct topline & tail set. Correct feet. Stylish & free moving in profile. A lot to like.

2. Jackson’s TIGRATO WILDERNESS GLEN Well marked with balanced head. Would prefer a darker eye. Well set ears. Short muzzle. Correct feet. Square outline. Not as settled on move as winner.

1. Walker’s FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS TORQUES AT ZIOST (Imp POL) Balanced head with correct ears, eyes & bite. Short backed with good topline and correct tail set. Free moving.

2. Mair’s GLENAULD CALL ME BUBBLES Smart girl. Well marked. Balance head with correct eye & bite. Well set ears. Would prefer a little shorter in back. Correct topline & tail set, good neck. Moves well in profile.

1. Mairs’s GLENAULD INDIANA Stylish girl who is balanced throughout. Good head with correct eye & bite. Short muzzle, flat cheeks. Well positioned ears. Short backed with good topline & tail set. Free moving. A lot to like RBB

2. Rostron-Parker’s ROSPARQUIER SELDOM SEEN Smaller type girl with balanced head. Short muzzle, flat cheeks. Lovely eye, correct bite and well set ears. Compact & short coupled. Another very nice girl who was unlucky to meet winner. Steady & balanced on the move.

OPEN BITCH (4/3)

1. Scott’s CH APRIKA FARGO AT RUDINO JW Lovely bitch who caught my eye when she came into the ring and did not disappoint. Correctly marked. Square head with lovely expression. Good dark eyes, correct ears & good bite. Short backed, correct topline & tail set. Well constructed fore & aft. Steady & balanced on move. I could not go past her for BB. Very close decision for RBIS

2. Barclay’s CH JABBARI GOLDEN IMAGE AT CLAYMURF (IMP ZAF) Smart bitch with Lovely square head. Short muzzle, flat cheeks. Correct eye & bite. Good ears. Well marked. Well constructed front & rear and steady on move. A very nice girl, but I preferred the overall shape of winner.
