Thank you to all the exhibitors for there sportsmanship around the ring on this my first CC appointment in this lovely breed, I really enjoyed my day helped by lovely sunshine so we could use all the ring. Plus, two very efficient stewards. My only criticism is I did notice in a couple exhibits their eyes tending to be more round than oval, but on whole as a breed since I last judged the breed seems in good hands.

1ST Mrs S & Mrs A Johnston & Atkinson; Winklestar Namid; 9 months. Nice confident youngster, with wedge shaped head, well-defined stop and dark muzzle, dark spectacled eyes with clear pencil markings. Arched neck on well-placed shoulders and well sprung ribs, compact body with good rear angulation, coat harsh & plenty of it, brisk effortless movement which won him this class. BPD & BPIB

2ND Mrs J A & Miss S A & Mrs S & Dr K Miles & Dean & Cullen & Cullen; Skyline's Outlander at Lekkerbek (Imp Usa); 8 months very similar to first, lovely overall shape & balance, just a bit bouncier on the move today.

1ST Mrs S & Mr S Gardner; Devonia's Love Wil Find A Way for Manzanakees; just 14 months old a lovely sturdy youngster. Wedge shaped head with dark mask, defined stop and small neat ears set well into large ruff, neck set well into shoulders and compact body with well boned legs, firm over loin and tail set high with tight curl, profuse coat standing well off body, steady movement.

1ST Mrs L & Mr S Axford & Sherwood; Watermyth Jewel of The Nest; just 2 years, wedge head with dark mask, dark eyes set obliquely, small well-padded ears, neck of good length set well into shoulders, fair amount of bone with well-padded feet, compact body, good tail set and nice rear angulation. Looks like just coming back into coat.

This was a really strong class for quality and breed type and I could easily have swapped the first three around an still been happy.

1ST Messrs M & D, Mrs L & Mrs T Matthews & Lee; Winklestar Deneb at Valindale; As this youngster entered the ring he caught my eye, at just 22 months an in lovely harsh coat that was standing off from body, masculine wedge head with large ruff, dark mask and thick triangular ears well placed, pencil marked around the eyes moderately arched neck on well-placed shoulders, well sprung ribs with good depth of chest. Compact in body with good rear angulations, strong hocks well let down, with good tail set and nice tight curl over back. Brisk effortless movement who looked as if he could just go all day long. 2ND Mrs S E Lindsay; Mezanda Mystic Starman; just over 2 years, very slightly bigger than first but beautifully balanced, masculine head, nice neat ears, muscular neck, well placed shoulders, compact body, well-muscled hindquarters and in good harsh coat, just prefeed firsts slightly easier movement.

1ST Mrs V & Mr S Marshall; Arabesque at Devonia (Imp Rus); Ive judged this boy as youngster maturing well. Wedge shaped head with defined stop and dark eyes, clearly defined pencil marks, large ruff on muscular neck, with good fore chest with well sprung ribs, firm topline & good rear angulations. Tightly curled tail & large bushy trousers, very positive on move which won him this class.

 2ND Mr A J & Mrs J M Fitches; Nl Ch Samoykees Harbour Lights; slightly bigger that first but balanced.

3RD Mr G R & Mrs S Rose; Ch. Rossvale Endeavour to Esorkees;

One of my favourite classes seeing the veterans, still fit and being shown and I’ve judged all of them as youngsters at some point.

1ST Mr C & Miss N L Hickson; Ch Kichigai's Only The Lonley; 9 years old male, wedge shaped head, with neat ears, darkest of eyes dark mask with a little greying now, profuse ruff, muscular neck, compact body, well-muscled hind quarters which showed when he moved. BV & Veteran Group 2

2ND Mr A & Mrs S Hill; Ch Whizzkees Ebony Silver for Plymkees JW ShCM VW;10 year old bitch, feminine head with alert expression, neat well placed ears, compact in body, good rrear angulations, thick dense coat, steady on move, if slightly vocal.

3RD Mrs V & Mr S Marshall; Torrikees Made in Heaven at Devonia VW;

1ST Mrs V & Mr S Marshall; Devonia’s Hakuna Matata; just 14 months, between coats but what was there was harsh and didn’t detract from her lovely shape, wedge shaped head with well-defined stop, masked muzzle and pencil lines to her dark eyes, nicely arched neck on well-placed shoulders, with good depth to chest, compact body and well angulated hind-quarters, allowed brisk steady movement, BJ and apparently last point for her JW.

2ND Miss T A Church; Tykees Soul Searching; 13 months and another between coats at the moment, but again lovely balanced shape with effortless brisk movement.

1ST Miss T A Church; Tykees We Go Solo; 2 year old. Feminine wedge-shaped head, defined stop with dark eyes with clearly marked pencil lines, small ivy shaped velvety ears, correct bite and strong under jaw, moderate neck with enough ruff for age, good depth of chest and ribs well sprung, well boned legs and tight well-padded feet. Compact body with nice set tail, well-muscled hindquarters, and thick trousers. Coat off standing with clear harness markings, moved with confident strides.

2ND Miss J Saunders; Liefkees Aleida; 2year old nice sound bitch lovely overall shape just needs more coat.

1ST Miss T A Church; Tykees Its Just A Phase; 3.5 years old, feminine wedge head with dark eyes and well -padded ears, moderately arched neck on well placed shoulders, ribs well sprung and compact in body with tail curled tightly over back, nice rear angulations and firm hocks, well-muscled all through allowing brisk free movement, not quite in full coat today but enough, In challenge she really showed herself off using all ring and she was rewarded with RCC

2ND Mrs S Johnston; Tykees Full of Chaos;2 year old so similar to first had job split, notice in catalogue shes a repeat mating of first, soundly made bitch, in good coat, just felt she didn't move out as freely as 1st,

What a quality class of bitches, all in super coat and condition, I really was spoilt for choice here and in end it came down to too things

1ST Mrs J Sharp-Bale; Neradmik Pandora's Box; just approaching 2 years old. Super feminine wedge-shaped head with lovely dark muzzle, well defined stop and dark almond eyes set obliquely with small neat ears and correct bite, moderately long strong neck with profuse ruff, shoulders well laid back with good upper arm, straight front with good breadth to chest reaching elbow, well sprung ribs with strong loin, high tail set with tight curl, well-muscled hindquarters with large fluffy trousers, hocks in line with tight rounded feet. Coat harsh outer with enough undercoat not to make her look stuffy. Moved with brisk easy movement and good rear drive. BCC in challenge just felt the dog was covering more ground.

2ND Miss J Saunders; Liefkees Adina; just over 7 years old definitely showing no sign of age, maybe little greying round mask, feminine head, neat triangular ears, dark oval eyes set obliquely, moderate neck with enough ruff around if, well placed shoulders compact body, well angulated hindquarters, good bone. Nice tight tail. Lovely easy brisk movement considered her for rcc.
