I would like to thank the committee of WELKS for the kind invitation to judge Rottweilers at the 2024 show. I would like to thank the exhibitors for their entries and the sporting way they accepted my decisions. It was my first time awarding CC’s in this one of my favourite breeds and it was an extremely enjoyable experience.

Minor Puppy Dog 2:1

1st Ausrie's Jabba The Hut (Mr R & Mrs M Austen)

8 month old male who was so well balanced and of good proportions, typical

male head, dark eyes with a keen expression and a good mouth, strong neck

neatly set on shoulders, straight front with good bone and tight feet,

great rear angulation which helped him to maintain correct balance on the move,

very pleased to award him BPIB

2nd Rottkinson Dark Knight (Ms Y Wilkinson)

Another very promising puppy who at 7 months is still learning the ropes, strong male head which

 is still developing but is of good proportions, , dark eyes, straight front with good bone and tight feet,

 nicely bodied up for his age, moved soundly covering the ground well.

Junior Dog 5:1

1st Botlierskop Silver Sceptre for Riversrock (Mr M & Mrs J M Powell)

13mth old who was so well put together, very well presented and in good show condition,

Strong male head of good proportions, which has still to mature, muscular slightly arched neck onto well placed shoulders, with a good forechest, straight front leading to well developed rear quarters, with good angulation , showed power and drive on the move.

2nd Upend Ellison at Kassmax (Mr M T & Mrs M Gee)

6 month beautifully presented with a very dark gleaming coat in lovely condition, well developed head of correct proportions, good mouth, very dark eyes, straight front with good bone, ample depth of brisket, good rear angulation which he used to his advantage when moving.

3rd Seittor Magic Spell with Keljaygo (Mr Rr & Miss Kj Goodban)

Yearling Dog 3:0

1st Ch Teigan Jedi by Fantasa (Miss M Dunhill-Hall)

A beautifully presented male who really does tick all the boxes, masculine head of correct proportion, with a good mouth strong neck of good length onto well set shoulders, very well

muscled forechest, straight front with tight feet, gleaming coat, strong straight back leading to powerful well defined rear quarters, which enabled him to power himself around the ring .

2nd Darkarmar Tobias (Mrs W & Mr G Steel & Mulhal

A well presented male who still needs time to develop and is not as mature as the class winner, typical male head of good proportions, dark eyes which show a keen interest in what is going on around him, strong forechest with correct depth of brisket good length of foreleg and well off for bone, strong straight back, good rear angulation, maintained correct balance on the move.

3rd Bereyda The Real Defender (Miss D & Ms E Egerton & Sutcliffe)

1st Steigen Rupaul Charles (Mr L & Mr L L Cartwright)

3 year male who is presented in great show condition, typical head with very dark eyes giving off a keen expression , strong slightly arched neck onto good shoulders with a well developed forecast, and good depth of brisket, straight front, good bone, strong back, leading to very well developed rear quarters, with good angulation, which give him power and drive .

2nd Tatrasrotts Atalo by Deepweiler (Mr S Dudley Paul)

15mth male who just about made it into the class and took a little bit of time to settle,

but once settled he put in a good performance, a dog who loves to show and whose enthusiasm is to be admired, a big bold male, typical head of good proportions, strong neck of correct length, good depth of forechest and body proportions, made the most of the ring.

1st Ch Fantasa Lucky Strike (Miss M Dunhill-Hall)

High quality male presented in the best of condition, who is very strong in all departments, gleaming dark coat helping to give off the sharpest of outlines, lovely masculine head of great proportions with a good mouth, strong slightly arched neck leading to the best of forechests, the straightest of fronts with great bone and tight feet, strong straight back leading to muscular hammy quarters which helped him to move as good as he looks displaying great power and drive. really pleased to be given the opportunity to judge this stunning male and to award him the DCC.

2nd Varenka Silver Arrow for Riversrock JW (Mr M & Mrs J M Powell)

Another high quality male who I previously judged at a Rottweiler Club Open show where I awarded him BIS. This dog has matured on greatly and I am sure he has the necessary attributes to achieve his champions crown. Another beautifully presented male who is strong in all departments, typical masculine head of correct proportions, with a good mouth, dark expressive eyes, muscular strong neck onto correct shoulders, straight front with good bone and tight feet, well developed body with strong straight back leading to well developed rear quarters, great mover displaying a powerful rear action.. Pleased to award him the RDCC.

Veteran Bitch 2.0

1st Ch Salonga Let's Get Wicked (Ms S Jacobs)

8 ½ years and still going strong showing great quality proof that she can compete with the best, feminine head of good proportions, strong slightly arched neck onto correctly placed shoulders, great forechest, body of good proportions, with a strong straight back leading to well defined rear quarters, movement was a pleasure to see pleased to award her BVIB.

2nd Bevanray Shirley at Nyandor ShCEx (Miss Jh Broadbank)

7 years old and looking very good on it, feminine head, dark expressive eyes, strong muscular neck, ample forechest, body of good proportions, broad well developed front, strong firm back nicely muscled rear quarters which she used to her advantage on the move.

8mth old bitch who is so well presented, lovely feminine head which is still to mature, dark eyes of correct shape, strong muscular slightly arched neck onto broad well developed shoulders, body of good proportions, moved with ease around the ring, overall a baby puppy who needs time

2nd Darkarmar Cleopatra (Ms G Whitfield)

7mth old shown and presented in very good condition, feminine head of correct proportions with a good mouth, dark eyes giving off a kind disposition, strong neck, ample forechest, well off for bone with tight feet, strong straight back a little bit giddy on the move but again a promising youngster who needs time to develop.

Puppy Bitch 2:1

1st Jezeve Deja Vu avec Whisperdown (Ms G Courtney-Baughan)

A well presented puppy whose handler shows her to her best advantage, feminine head, small dark eyes, good front and rear angulation, tight feet, strong straight back which remains firm on the move.

Junior Bitch 3:1

1st Seittor Voodoo Spell (Mrs S & Mr D Lambert)

A very impressive 12 mth youngster straight out of the top drawer, she caught my eye as soon as she stepped into the ring, loved her outline, beautiful feminine head of correct proportions with good mouth, almond shaped dark eyes, lovely neck onto correct shoulders, with a great forechest, the straightest of fronts with ample bone and tight feet. correctly proportioned body, strong straight back, firm top line, well angulated rear quarters which helped her to move effortlessly around the ring. Overall a beautiful bitch immaculately presented and handled, pleased to award her the RBCC.

2nd Panelma Hedgeingmybet (Mrs M Bryant)

12 mth old not the same maturity as my class winner but still so well put together, feminine head, dark eyes, strong slightly arched neck to straight back with correct body proportions, shown to her best advantage and made the most of the ring.

Yearling Bitch 7:0

1st Olearia Queen of Hearts (Mrs M Monk

19mth bitch who has still a lot to develop but who really ticks all the boxes, presented in fit hard condition, so well balanced with everything in proportion, feminine head good mouth and dentition, body of good proportions with a strong straight back, well defined quarters which helped propel her around the ring displaying great rear action and good stride.

2nd Steigen Jada Shada Hudson (Mr L & Mr L Cartwright)

19mth old , well presented in prime show condition, head still needs time to develop but of a good breed type, dark almond shaped eyes, good mouth , strong muscular neck, onto well laid shoulders, straight front with ample bone, tight feet, nicely muscled in body, good rear quarters, handler really does get the best out of her especially on the move where she gave a good account of herself .

Post Graduate Bitch 3:1

1st Seittor Cast A Spell JW (Mrs S & Mr D Lambert)

 13 mth who looks to be another exciting prospect from this kennel, great make and shape, clean feminine head of correct proportions, lovely dark almond shaped eyes, good mouth, strong slightly arched neck onto correct shoulders, straight front with excellent bone, strong straight back leading to well defined rear quarters which helped her maintain correct balance on the move.

2nd Kiki Vom Anagastum (Imp Mne) (Miss E Brereton)

3 year old who was really enjoying her day and was immaculately presented and handled to her best very strong feet, strong muscular body of correct proportions moved with ease around the ring

Limit Bitch 3:2

1st Nyandor Never Say Never (Miss Jh Broadbank)

Stood alone in the class but this did not detract from her obvious qualities, well presented and handled, and shown in pristine condition, feminine head of correct proportions, lovely dark eyes with a kind expression, straight front with ample bone, tight feet, body of correct proportions, well muscled rear quarters with good angulation helped her to move effortlessly around the ring.

Open Bitch 2:0

1st Ch Fantasa Lucky Seven (Miss M Dunhill-Hall)

A very special girl who oozes quality and class and is so stylish throughout, her ring presence is so impressive, immaculately presented in hard fit condition , sharp in outline, beautiful head of correct proportions with a good mouth, dark almond shaped eyes, strong muscular neck onto well placed shoulders, straight front tight feet onto strong pasterns excellent bone, strong firm back with great muscular rear quarters, she moved with pace and precision displaying a great rear powerful driving action, really pleased to be given the opportunity to judge this beautiful bitch and it gave me the greatest of pleasure to award her the BCC and BOB, and it came as no surprise to me that she went on to win Working Group 1

2nd - Westfalen Love by Design with Olearia (Mrs M & Mrs V Monk & Jones)

A very well presented high quality bitch who is in lovely show condition, her shiny dark coat giving her a sharp outline pretty feminine head of correct proportions with a good mouth, strong well arched neck onto correct shoulders, well muscled body with good front assembly and well defined rear quarters, moved with ease around the ring .
