EAST ANGLIAN ASSOCIATION SUB GROUP CH SHOW FOR

ROUGH AND SMOOTH COLLIES

4 AUG 24

I would like to thank the East Anglian Collie Association committee and in particular Miranda Blake and Jo White very much for their kind invitation to judge their Special Award Classes at their Championship show on 4th August.

SPECIAL AWARD CLASSES

AV PD/B 5(2)

1. Howard/Fort’s Shulune Imperial Inkheart with Casatentola. Correct head proportions, well set ears, correct eyes, general overall balance, excellent strong top-line, good reach and drive on the move.

2. Flower’s Serenlas Truly Scrumptious. Preferred the overall proportions of this exhibit, correct head planes, nice shoulders, good top-line, correct croup, easy ground covering gait.

3. Lockyer’s Salsina’s Red Hot Crush with Gataj. Attractive head, sweet expression, not quite the length of back that I would prefer and consequently not the reach and drive of her competition.

AV PGD/B 9(1)

1. Quince’s Oakley Ice Queen for Karafaye (imp CHE). Nice feminine head, good eye placement, good overall balance, strong top-line, absolutely sound on the move.

2. Ross’ Siluto Blue Wizzard at Amberwish. Good head proportions, slightly smaller eyes than I would prefer but well set, correct ears, good top-line, light ground covering gait, sound on the out and back.

3. Skinner’s Ladnar Makeithappen for Nikal. Good head, well set ears, good overall proportions, but possessed a rather loose top-line which became apparent on the move.

AV OD/B 14(5)

1. Newman’s Phreelancer Phormal Dress. Lovely example of the breed, excellent head, charming expression, well placed eyes, well set neck, powerful shoulders, excellent overall proportions, good reach and drive on the move, shown in full coat, well handled and presented.

2. Flower’s Serenlas Pumpkin Spice JW. Another top quality exhibit, lovely head and expression, well set ears, excellent shoulder, strong top-line and effortless gait.

3. Howard’s Gib Ch. Serenlas Angel of Casatentola. Good eye, correct head, correct length of back, covered the ground with plenty of reach and drive, absolutely sound on the out and back.
