happy well presented 9 years old male super substance, well handled looked and acted like a terrier, maybe a daft saying but some terriers now have no spirit and stand with no attitude or as I say and hope to see, a TERRIER, strong masculine dog with presence and style, excellent in head well set and use ears, firm topline moved well, well made and well put together and on the day best Veteran

2ND 4508 - Glendraterra Blithe Spirit (Miss J V Mcfadden)

1ST 4509 - Ubble Du Manoir Saint Adrien at Byzantine (Imp Fra) (Ms J Peakin)

This dog walked in demanding that I look, impressive dog as he strolls in and just as impressive on the table, handling was high quality as you would expect from this well know handler, but clearly there is a partnership between handler and dog, this male stands and looks commanding in the ring, which to be honest most of the breed did and I was more that pleased to see that aspect in this breed, this male is masculine but with the refined elegance you like to see, high quality male with high quality features, strong body which is clearly fit and well-muscled. Long lean head with the right amount of stop, correct in eye shape and colour, with excellent set and used ears, correct neck with excellent drive and width, should easily become UK CH today pleased to award RCC

1ST 4524 - Ch Kanix Quickstep (Mrs K S Wilberg)

This 3 years old female walked in demanding to be looked at and equally demanding to win, as she enters the ring she looks stunning and this proved still the case when examined on the table, on the floor she acts and looks like the required TERRIER but with calm and control but on the edge if needed, handled as you would expect from this handler BUT clear to see they are both a double act and both work hard to win for each other, she looks at her handler to watch what’s required and equally this handler watches her to make sure all is right but watching all around to make sure all is going correctly, as expected she is of very high quality long head of correct shape and stop, with correct size and positioned ears, leading to a strong dry neck, flowing into correct shoulders and correct topline and length of back, excellent position carriage and set of the tail, deep chest and short back, strong and well used rear quarters, coat is correct and she’s a strong but ultra feminine elegant female lots to like and pleased to see get placed in a VERY strong terrier group, not surprised to later learn how many CCs she’s already won but honoured and pleased to today to award CC and BOB
