I would like to say Thank you to the Officers and Committee of The Solid Colours Cocker Spaniel Association for inviting me to judge bitches at their 10th Championship Show and for their hospitality. Also to Emily and Aggie for keeping the ring running smoothly. Thanks also to the exhibitors for entering , there was a lovely entry of 86 with only a few absentees. Dentation was incorrect in some exhibits.

Special Puppy.(1)

1. West's Jamesfield Just a Star At Sheigra.  Feminine 9 months Red. A square shape with well angulated rear quarters and a  sound  exuberant happy mover. 

Special Graduate.(2,1T)

1. Brookes Covenant Peregrina Pearl Of Bruxly (IMP  IT)  Nicely presented Red who is well off for bone. Well rounded quarters with a correct tail set and good neck and shoulders. Moved well.

Special Puppy (2,1A)

1. Blackley's & Saleros Wightroche Calla Lilly. Beautifully presented 10 month Black with a flat silky coat. Feminine head with a tight eye and reachy neck. Unfortunately she gave her handler a hard time on the move  making it difficult to assess her movement. 

Special Graduate (6)

1. Young's  Canyonn Classic Vision JW . A really well made Black who is well off for bone. Good proportions to head with a deep muzzle. Deep ribs and a compact body. Nicely rounded read  quarters which enabled her to move soundly, the best mover in this class. Just needs more coat to complete the picture.

2. Bindza's Laurellakes It's A Miracle. A well boned feminine Black with a reachy neck and good depth to ribs. Beautifully presented in full coat. Moved soundly with a level topline although when stacked it may not appear so.

3. Stokes-Harrell Villaspaniol Pixies For Chezza's

1.Kew's Withiflor Bird On The Wire Over Wylyeview. A balanced feminine Black looking a picture stacked and on the move.  She demonstrated reach and drive and the typical merry Cocker temperament  maintaining a level topline and a happy tail action. Short compact body with balanced angles and deep well sprung ribs. Unexaggerated and moderate as a Cocker should be. Beautifully presented. RBCC and RBIS.

2. Shinkfield & Lester's Quettadene Queen Of Stars JW. Black built on bigger lines than first with good depth and substance, straight well boned legs and deep well sprung ribs. She has a reachy neck with well placed shoulders. Moved happily and soundly.

1. Masters & Dott's Manchela Pollyanna. 9months B/R. She has good skull proportions for her age and such a soft gentle expression.  Her body is short compact and cobby with a well rounded rear. Unsettled at times when moving but did enough to demonstrate true sound movement with a happy action. Beautifully presented.

2. Gilmour's Chavez Glamer Girl. 10 months B/R presenting a cobby short outline. She has a tight dark eye and well developed stop. Moderate length of neck and Short coupled. Moved happily .

3. Griffiths & Norie-Miller's Ryallcourt Silent Witness for Tanrini.

Special Novice (6)

1. Williams Wilmerella Memphis Belle, A nicely presented B/R of good bone and substance. Good depth to ribs that are well back and has a nicely rounded rear with a moderate bend of stifle. Happy sound movement.

2. Kotanen's  Yokotai Queen Of Chaos 11 months B/R beautifully presented. She has a kind dark eye with Good skull proportions and a deep muzzle. She has balanced angles  a compact body and nicely rounded rear . Moved happily with a level topline.

3. Burnet's  Granrose Three Times A Lady By Charmwen.

Special Graduate(6)

1. Darby's Classicway  Chiming Bells. A smartly presented B/R, in full coat possessing  a  feminine and well chiselled head. Her neck is of moderate length and she has a clean throat. Good depth of rib and well placed shoulders. A unexaggerated merry cocker keeping her level topline on the move.

2. Craig's Alisma Astirist. A very honest B/R of good bone and substance with a square outline. Good depth and spring of ribs. Moved soundly and happily, just needs a bit more coat to complete the picture.

3. Brown's Reemif Blue Velvet At Popebel.

1. Driver's Annilann Miss MagicStar At Beckaby. Well built B/R with a lovely front assembly and good forechest, Well placed shoulders and a good length of upper arm.  Strong neck of moderate length. Sound happy mover.

2.Birkenshaw's  Gilcar Blue Destiny. Typy unxaggerated B/R who i felt was carrying a little too much weight over her shoulders today. Good depth to ribs which are well sprung, short compact  body. Moving with reach and drive.

3. Kotanen's FIN CH Triplet Queen Of Queens (IMP FIN)

In lovely condition and a credit to their owners.

1. West's Sheigra Super Special JW.  Feminine head and expression on this Black. Square and cobby body with elbows tucked in nicely to deep ribs. Her neck is of moderate length and she is balanced. Used her tail well on the move. BVB.

2. Davies Kerriglow Honesty JW. Well boned Black with a good forechest. Moderate bend of stifle with good width to thigh. She has a reachy neck and maintained a level topline  on the move.

3. Hill's Olibond Sunshine Girl At Princehill.

Minor Puppy (9,1A) 

1. Shapland's Deracor Duty Free , I really liked the depth and substance of this B/R. Lovely head proportions for her age with a tight dark eye and deep muzzle. Balanced all through with good bone. Moved well but just lost her enthusiasm in the challenge. BMPB.

2. Nuttalls  Rosecourt Romance at just 6 months  this feminine headed B/R is full of confidence and enthusiasm and when she settled moved with reach and drive. Compact square body and Short coupled with a good tail set.

3. Collings Chativore Sea Pebble At Colmandakev

1. Thomas's Claramand French Fancy a most attractive headed BR&T so full of breed type. Well put together , neck flowing into well placed shoulders and a level top line which she kept on the move. Balanced and moderate all through. Moved enthusiastically with a ever wagging tail and a bustle. BPB.

Junior (12, 1A)

1. McBride's  Charmwen Handle with Care At Topday. Feminine B/R, short compact and cobby. Plenty of forechest and well balanced angles presenting a balanced unexaggerated outline. Well rounded rear with a good tail set. Beautifully presented in full coat. Moved well with drive. Shortlisted to final 4.

2. Todd & Rahman's Zheridons Blanche. a well presented Red , well off for bone and good substance and depth throughout. A strong moderate neck flowing into well placed shoulders. Balanced angles. Moved well with reach and drive.

3. Darby's Classicway Chiming Bells.

Yearling (6, 1A)

1. Brookes Bruxly Elizabeth. A well boned feminine Black with a compact strong body and a Moderate bend of stifle. Moved well and happily with a level topline.

2. Stokes-Harrell Villaspaniol Pixies For Chezza's Black &Tan possessing a well chiselled head and good neck. Stood squarely with good ribs and Moved well.

3. Bindza's Laurellakes Little Wonder.

Novice ( 7, 2A)

1. Tavernor's Cassom Blue Muse At Regaltav. A feminine headed B/R with a expressive eye. Moderate all through, neck flowing smoothly to well placed shoulders and a level topline which she held on the move. Beautifully presented in full coat.

2. Tomlinson's Milalder Dreaming On A Star. Nicely boned B/R, strong compact body with depth to ribs. Well rounded rear and short below hocks, moved happily.

3. Davies Mabelhope Melrose Miss Of Peacevale.

Post Graduate ( 9, 1A)

1.Morris's  Riondel Solitaire. Such a typy B/R, her coat presentation displaying her assets , deep ribs with a good forechest and balanced rear quarters. A short compact Cocker.Moved with reach and drive.

2. West's Sheigra Super Secret JW.  A feminine Red with good bone and  free from exaggreation, short and cobby with a short loin. Moved well and nicely presented.

3. Blackley & Salero's Wightroche The Bee JW

Special Beginners (5)

1.  Brown's Popebel Limited Edition. B/R with good head proportions and a deep muzzle. Good neck and shoulders with plenty of forechest. Nicely presented but would have liked more enthusiasm on the move.

2. Collings  Chativore Sea Pebble At Colmandakev. 8 months B/R who although a Minor Puppy deserved her place . In her puppy coat but underneath she has good bone and deep ribs and nicely balanced. Moved  happily.

3. Pocock's Florendeem Tooty Fruity.

Limit (8)

1. Whiteheads Ryallcourt Stitch In Time JW. A really unexaggerated B/R standing squarely on well boned legs. Good head proportions with a tight dark eye and depth to muzzle. Moderate length of neck flowing into good shoulders and maintained her level toplines on the move. Good width behind with sound movement. Shortlisted to final 4.

2. Fairbairn', Nuttall & Madigan's Heluin Blue Jay ( IMP RUS) Feminine B/R with a lovely front assembly and forechest. Good deep ribs. Nicely rounded rear and well set tail. Moved happily with a level topline. Well presented in full coat.

3. Steele's Ziennes Azzura. 

Open (7, 3A)

1.  Masters & Dott SH CH Adriana Sunfrost Soul with Manchela ( IMP UKR) JW. Such a correctly put together B/R , she commanded attention with her ring presence and sound merry action on the move, with reach and drive. Feminine all through with good head proportions, moderate reach of neck and well placed shoulders. Short, compact Cobby and very well balanced.  Beautifully presented. BCC and BIS.

2. MCBride's Topday Tiny Dancer JW. B/R standing on well boned legs with good depth and spring of ribs. Strong neck, not so clean in throat as First. Good width to rear quarters with a correct tail set. Moved well. Presented well in full coat.

3. West's Sheigra Stars In Her Eyes JW OSW ShCEx.
