This was my 1st time awarding CC’s in this breed and I would like to thank the exhibitors for their sportsmanship, and I appreciated the clapping and cheering. We had a good size ring and the weather was dry but chilly, which suited the dogs, but not so good for the exhibitors. I also appreciated that all charges were in a good clean condition and were well groomed. In the main you have good moving dogs, and that was appreciated by me.

Special Beginners (1,0), 1 Chave, Miss H.S., Amberslade Heart Of Fire: A well grown 3yr old blue dog of a nice type and out-line. Just a tad long for me. He moved ok. Pleased to award him BSB. Well done.

Minor Puppy Dog (2,0), 1 Zettin, F., Northbay Xsell Star On The Moon: A 6mth old tri dog I really liked his shape and he was handled well. I would like to see a little more rear angle, that may show more as he matures. Saying that he moved out nice and steadily around the ring. I was pleased to award him BPD.     2 Stopford, Miss V., Amberslade Made In Dublin: A well grown 8mth old tri dog. He is of a good type and out-line and has good angles to front and rear, but he is not as compact as 1st and still needs to settle on the move.

Puppy Dog (2,0), 1 Goodey & Gibbons, Miss C. & Miss S., Wispafetes Simply A Smartie: Just coming up to 12mths of age this tri dog has a well grown body, his head is yet to balance up with him. He does move well, hopefully he should balance up as he matures.      2 Stopford, Miss V., Amberslade Made In Dublin: As Before.

Junior Dog (2,0), 1 Garside, Mrs. T., Triforce Ragnar: At just over 12mths of age this blue dog took my eye. He is well grown for his age and is surprisingly mature. He is of a super type and out-line and so well balanced, although he did pace around the ring on the first time. The handler did a good job getting his out of that. He sailed around after that. I was pleased to award him BJ and also the DCC. Well done, I loved him.     2 Whittington, Miss H., (Handling for Wright, Mrs K.L.), U’Saxon Des Ptits Bergers En Terre Bio At Razkiah, (Imp. Fra.): Just over a year old this tri is well grown for his age. He is a little nervous on the day. He drops off on the croup making him look long which was not helped by his movement.

Post Graduate Dog (2,0), 1 Jarram, Jarram & Whittingham, Mrs. S.V., Miss K.V. & Miss H.V., Chalksville Strike A Deal With Kashaella, JW: A 21mth old tri, well grown, nice out-line and type. Moved around the ring nicely. Good angles to front and rear. Would like to feel a little more muscle.      2 Chave, Miss H.S., Amberslade Heart Of Fire: As Before.

Limit Dog (3,0), 1 Burt, Ms. E.L., Save The Tears For Another Day With Aussiame, (Imp. Ita.): A neat 3yr old tri. He is good on the move, and has a pleasing neat out-line and is of a good type. I liked him very much indeed.        2 Goodey & Gibbons, Miss C. & Miss S., Wispafetes Real And True: A bit bigger than 1st this tri was rising 4yrs old. He has a pleasing out-line and pleasing type. But didn’t move as smoothly as 1st. He was well turned out on the day which I appreciated.     3 Whittington, Miss H., (Handling for Wright, Mrs K.L.), Fraytal Corsairy Casch At Razkiah.

Open Dog (7,0), 1 Knott, Mrs. J., Shalako’s Come Hellr High Water, (Imp USA): A 4yr old red dog. A really nice dog with good angles front and rear making a very nice picture. He is of an excellent type and out-line and really moved nicely around the ring using it all to his advantage. I was pleased to award him the D.Res. CC. Well done.     2 Wray-Ramsden, Mrs. S.L., Caronlea Celtic Fire Starter For Takhisis, JW (AI) (IKC): Another red of 3yrs old. He is a good size and makes a good picture, being of a good type with a good out-line. Today not quite the movement of 1st. But he is very nice and I liked him.      3 Cowley, Miss T., Sparkaway Talk Of The Devil, JW.      4 Hellewell, Mrs. A.L., Franmar The Thriller.      5 Zettin, F., It/Swi/Slo/Hr Ch. Almond Cookie Of Moon And Stars.

Veteran Dog/Bitch (4,0), 1 Whittington, Miss H., (Handling for Wright, Mrs K.L.), Lullaby Pippin N Lady Apples Des Terres De Laumeneel, (Imp. Fra.): A 9yr old red bitch, she is a neat bitch with a lovely out-line and type. Moved out well around the ring which was appreciated by me. Pleased to award her BV.     2 Coutts, Amberslade Delaware: A 12yr old blue merle bitch that was defying her years. This bitch is slightly longer than 1st but still moved well around the ring. So deserved her placing and is of a nice type.     3 Garside, T. & P., Mistyholly Secret Affair.     4 Barr, Mr. A. & Mrs. P., Allmark Yogi Bear. 

Minor Puppy Bitch (2,0), 1 Wray-Ramsden, Mrs. S.L., Arohahills A Star Is Born For Takhisis, (Imp), NAF: An 8mth old tri bitch that is well grown for age. She has a pleasing out-line and type, and moved well around the ring, so nicely settled. Pleased to award her BPB and later BPIB. Well done.     2 Virgo, Miss L., Amberslade Galway Girl: Another 8mth old tri girl, still needs to settle, just a little unsteady on the move. Also a little nervous today.

Puppy Bitch (2,0), 1 Gibbons, Miss S.G., (Handling for Miss F. Wilson & Miss S. Gibbons), Wispafetes Give Us A Twirl: A 9mth old red bitch that is of a very pleasing type and out-line. There is lots to like about her. Moved nicely around the ring. Will keep an eye on her.     2 Virgo, Miss L., Amberslade Galway Girl: As Before.

Junior Bitch (3,1), 1 Davis Miss M. & Walsh, Mr. J., Rosschell Maid You Look: This 13mth old tri bitch is very neat and well grown for her age. She was handled very well, and moved very neatly around the ring. She earned her 1st place in this class.     2 Roberts, Mrs. H., Under The Polar Star Du Reve Austral Dreamtale, (Imp. Fra.): A 16mth old blue merle bitch. That drops off a bit on the rear for me, which spoils her out-line a little. She moves well and is of a very pleasing type.

Post Graduate Bitch (2.1), 1 Coutts, Mrs., Amberslade Catching Angels: A 3yr old tri bitch that is of a pleasing type and out-line and is very nice in profile. Her movement unfortunately was little off today. Hopefully you can correct this.

Limit Bitch (2,0), 1 Scanlan, Mrs. L., Franmar Blue Mystique: A 2yr old blue merle bitch, with the best muscles today. Absolutely as hard as nails. She is of a pleasing type and out-line. She moved out well making good use of her hard condition. Well done.     2 Roberts, Mrs. H., Troya Elvikam Of Dreamtale, (Imp. Pol.): This 4yrs old red merle bitch lost out to 1st on movement today. She is of a pleasing type and out-line and has a sweet nature.

Open Bitch (9,1), 1 Cowley, Miss T., Sparkaway Black Magic: A 2.5yr old red bitch that I absolutely loved. Her front extension alone was to die for. Her movement is so smooth and rhythmic I could have watched her all day. She is of an excellent type and out-line and so very feminine. She has great angles to front and rear, never put a foot wrong. I was pleased to award her the BCC and BOB. She looked a picture in the Group and did well to be short listed in the final. I hear that it was also her crowning glory, many congratulations.     2 Raymond, Mrs. M., Dialynne Heist Society, (AI): This 2yr old tri bitch is another with good front extension that also excels in movement. She was turned out to perfection. She is just a tad bigger than 1st but also very feminine and of excellent type and out-line. Pushed the winner hard, pleased to award her B.RCC. Well done.     3 Gibbons & Blyton, Miss S. & Miss T., Wispafete Light My Fire.     4 Gibbons & Spencer, Miss S. & Miss P., Wispafete One Upon A Dream.     5 Milligan & Marley, Ms J. & Mr. N., Allmark On One Hand With Alfsden.
