1: Tapper& Leyland’s KEDALITA STEPTOE AND SON, BP, 6 months, oozes breed type and quality, super proportions and construction, we’ll shaped headpiece with correct balance of back skull to muzzle, correct bite, well-shaped and placed almond eye, good ear set, pleasing flow of neck into topline, ample length and depth of ribcage, correct coat, well coupled, free and easy moved with a well-balanced stride.

2: Holehan’s LOGANRISH TIGER WARRIOR, 7 months, pleasing head properties, typical overall make, and shape, not as pleasing in coat texture and not as well co-ordinated on the move as the winner.

3: Russell’s TIROEN TOUCH OF MAGIC BY SETTESOLI (IMP JKC)

1: K Steptoe and Son

2: Danks-Kemish & Swannell’s ALOLFRANA ALL I ASK OF EVEANDABEC, more mature than winner and with many pleasing attributes, just preferred the cleaner lines and raciness of the winner.

3: Richardson’s BARDONHILL MCINTOSH RED AT MONTGREENAN

1: Macdonald’s SHELDONITE IT TAKES TWO BABY, promising junior with pleasing make and shape and ample depth and strength of body, masculine head with good length of muzzle and finish of lips, pleasing ear placement and carriage, strong neck, active and positive on the move.

2: Pike’s REDCLYST SIBELIUS, pleases for type and quality, refined head of pleasing proportions with typical eye and expression, clean neck of pleasing length, breed typical outline and proportions, active mover, not yet as finished as winner in depth and power of body.

3: Sloane’s FERASHEEN HOT PROPER TEA JW

1: Milligan-Bott & Bott’s THENDARA BIG LOVER, well presented and handled, imposing and masculine in appearance, pleasing head properties, strong neck, well-filled fore-chest, pleasing coat, well ribbed back, uses himself well on the move with typical tail carriage and action.

2: Cole’s RIVERBRUE OPHELIA BOBBY, not the style and presence of the winner, not as pleasing head properties, rather short-stepping front action detracts from the overall impression of him on the move.

1: Sheldon’s BARDONHILL A MILLION WAYS TO DELSANTO, typical style and pattern with very pleasing head, properties, well-placed elbows with decent return of upper arm, ample fill of fore-chest, pleasing rib cage, pleasing coat texture and colour, would have preferred a little more strength in his rear quarters and a little proud of his tail on the move.

2: Pike’s REDCLYST THE CELT, typical shape, and proportions with pleasing flow of outline and ample length of leg, good length of rib cage, well coupled, good coat, pleasing coordination on the move with a balanced and even footfall, not quite the finish of the winner on the day.

3: Green’s LOGANRISH OUT ON THE TOWN

1: Needs’ COVARNEY IT TAKES TIME WITH STOURFORD JW, displays many desired breed characteristics having the correct build and proportions, is a pleasing colour with the correct coat, typical head, eye and expression, displays power and depth of body whilst retaining the desired “racy” appearance of the breed, moves on a pleasing and steady gait.

2: Walker’s GWENDARIFF UCANT TOUCH THIS JW, chased the winner hard in this class, pleasing type and quality with a typical head, eye, and expression, stacks up well with a pleasing symmetry of outline, couldn’t quite match the winner on the move.

3: Hemings & Holehan-Green’s ORLANSET MANDOLIN

1: Strice BLUESPRINGS NOW I'M HERE AT FORESTFIRE, honest and well. put together example of the breed possessing many virtues and with no glaring faults, masculine in demeanour and appearance, good balance of back-skull to muzzle, well arched and muscled neck of good length, well placed withers with pleasing lay of shoulder and return of upper arm with elbows well set under body, pleasing top line and set of croup, strong rear quarters with good drive.

2: Needs’ COVARNEY PACO RABANNE AT STOURFORD, imposing when stacked up with more refinement in head properties than winner, ample substance, and depth of body with pleasing rib and top line, somewhat more exaggerated in hind construction than winner which makes him less well co-ordinated on the move.

3: Pike’s REDCLYST BORIS

1: Edwards’ ShCh GWENDARIFF UCAN'TMISSME BONHOMIE – CC, thought him a standout winner in a quality class, so well balanced and symmetrical in profile with the requisite degree of angulation and balance of his forehand and rear assemblies, refined and well-balanced masculine head with pleasing eye shape and position and correctly set and carried ears, correct coat texture and length, gave an excellent account of himself on the move, just doesn’t need to carry any more weight.

2: Hemmings’ ShCh ORLANSET A NEW FLAME, worthy title holder with much to like about him, full of true breed character and type with a pleasing head, racy appearance, ample length of leg, pleasing rib and loin, correct coat, just not quite as fluid on the move as winner.

3: Ellrich’s GWENDARIFF ABSOLUTELY MARWE'LLUS (IKC)

VD (2, 0)

1: Rowbottom’s ShCh LANSTARA SPRING MOON – RCC, BV, impressive exhibit in full maturity, stands over his ground so well with sufficient angulation fore and aft to provide correct balance and carriage both on the stack and the move, totally masculine in build and appearance yet without coarseness and still demonstrating the desired racy appearance, pleasing symmetry of body outline and proportions, pleasing depth of colour and looking every inch the champion he is.

2: Toms’ CLANNRUA BIRCH Vet Ch, pleasing shape and outline, somewhat lighter in frame and build than the winner and not making the most of himself on the move.

1: Green’s LOGANRISH OUT ON THE TOWN, 21 months, attractive colour, good coat, well balanced head, pleasing eye, tidy mover.

2: Bentley’s PENCLIPPIN JUBILEE FLAME JW, 19 months, well grown, pleasing colour and coat, clean limbed with good feet and pasterns, typical head, eye and expression, typical movement, just seemed a little slack in top line.

3: Bentley’s ASTLEYVIEW COMING HOME TO PENCLIPPIN

1: Mugford’s KEDALITA ABFAB FOR LYNWOOD, litter sister of BP showing remarkable similarity of type and quality, loveliest of heads with pleasing eye and expression, solid temperament, well balanced forehand and rear assemblies, pleasing gait and carriage with correct use of tail.

2: Holehan’s TIGER LILLY PEARL, pleasing overall pattern and style, refined head with correct balance of back skull to muzzle, good eye shape, colour and placement, good length of neck, pleasing depth of colour and coat length and texture, correct top line and steady mover.

3: Gardner’s DANWISH SOPRANO

2: Condron’s COVARNEY MINI MINX, promising youngster, seemed just a little overawed, pleasing outline and symmetry of build, refined head properties, pleasing gait when she settled.

3: Blackshaw & Rowbottom’s LANSTARA CHERRORVALE MOON DANCER

1: Sloane’s FERASHEEN POP THE CHAMPERS, quality exhibit with much to like about her, feminine and racy in appearance, refined head properties with good lip placement and finish, typical eye shape and expression, well-muscled neck of pleasing length, ample fill of fore-chest, well laid shoulder with pleasing return of upper arm and elbow placement, good length and expanse of rib, strong loin, well coupled, strong quarters and moved on a stylish and ground covering stride with pleasing head and tail carriage.

2: Vallance’s GLENCARRON SECOND EDITION TO CORCENCONE, well grown with well finished body showing ample strength and depth, pleasing flow of outline, sound and positive mover, not quite the same appeal in head properties as the winner.

3: Bentley’s PENCLIPPIN CELTIC ASTHORE

1: Holley’s GWENDARIFF THISTLE BE JILLS AT WYNJILL, stylish exhibit with a look of quality about her, balanced and refined head, correct eye shape and expression, symmetrical build with pleasing outline, ample ribbing and couplings, strong quarter, pleasing slope of croup and well set and carried tail, moved with a steady and positive gait.

2: Allen, Bott & Morgan’s QUENSHA JOKER AND THE QUEEN, pleasing head properties, ample depth and strength of body, good length, and expanse of rib, well coupled, well finished quarters, just seemed a little unenthusiastic on the move.

3: Vallance’s LYNWOOD RATHER RAVISHING AT CORENCONE.

1: Henderson & Szwajkowski’s GRENADA LOFTY CZERWONY (Imp Pol), typical overall style and pattern without exaggeration, balanced head properties, well finished body with ample depth and strength, pleasing colour and coat texture, strong quarters, and correct movement.

2: Armitage’s GWENDARIFF PHANTASTIC PHANNEY, pleasing shape and symmetry of build with ample strength and depth of body, well boned limbs, and pleasing feet, not quite as co-ordinated as winner on the move.

3: Hall’s HARREDS LILLIE

1: Bayne’s CORRANROO RAINBOW SHIMMER, high quality exhibit with many virtues and few faults, exemplifying the breed standard in so many ways, enhanced the intensity of competition both in the class and the best of sex line up. Excellent breed type, correct body shape and proportions, good coat, typical movement, took pole position in a strong class and made a strong impression in the best of sex line up.

2: Catling’s QUENSHA FAMILY PORTRAIT FOR TELERI, pleases in so many ways with her racy appearance, pleasing head properties, balanced conformation, clean and well boned limbs and sound action, a strong contender in any company.

3: Edwards’ GWENDARIUFF ITS NUMERO UNO AT BONHOMIE JW

1: Catling’s ShCh TELERI INDIAN SUMMER (AI) JW, CC & BOB, previously awarded her a Res CC and found no reason to change my high option of her on this occasion, stood out here and in the line-up and simply could not be denied the top award.

2: Sterritt’s Ir ShCh CORRANROO JUST ONE KISS WITH RIVERSETT Jun Ch, Res CC, same way bred as limit winner with remarkable similarity of style and appearance making for a hair-splitting decision when awarding the Res CC.

3: Jones’ GWENDARIFF CHILLI POWDER.

1: Bougen’s ShCh GWENDARIFF LILY THE PINK, worthy title holder displaying type, quality, and style, in tip top condition and expertly handled and presented

2: Stevensons LOCHLORIEN TRUE DETECTIVE IS ANDLEY, pleasing head properties, typical conformation, and movement, full bodied with pleasing outline and proportions, not in her best coat today.

3: Jones’ ALOLFRANA IN A HOT STORM OVER WENFLAEN
