Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge at my first CC appointment, having owned the breed for 14 years it was an honour to award tickets in a breed so close to my heart. Thank you also to the exhibitors, the atmosphere ringside was extremely pleasant and I had a fantastic selection of exhibits to go over and my placings were all accepted graciously. Overall there was high quality and all the dogs were presented in good condition with outstanding temperaments. My main watch out for the breed would be short necks of which there were a few. 

Special Beginners Dog or Bitch (2/0)

1st Harbourcove Once A Upon A Time in Bearisland (Mrs S & Mr J Low)

10 month old black bitch, scissor bite, dark eye of good shape. Head developing well. Well angled throughout with good bone for size, good depth to chest. Moved well, covering the ground with drive. Level top line which was held on the move. 

2nd Davistell B'mian Rapsody (ai) (Miss S & Mr E Gorvin & Cole)

13 month old black dog of good size. Scissor bite, dark eye. Head still developing. Well laid shoulders with strong level top line. Moved well, covering the ground with ease but slightly proud of tail today. Presented well. At the awkward junior stage at the moment where he is maturing into his size. 

Minor Puppy Dog (2/0)

1st Mileoak Hubble Bubble (Mr G J & Mrs P Leech)

7 month old black, scissor bite, dark eye with head developing well. Fantastic bone. Good length of neck onto well laid shoulders with straight forelimbs and tidy feet. Fantastic abundance of coat and presented well. Moved with drive with good strength of top line and tail carriage. Lots to like about this youngster and will look forward to watching him develop.

2nd Mileoak Huxley (Miss M E Moakes)

7 month white and black who caught my eye as soon as he entered the ring. Dark eye of good shape. Fantastic bone with good angles throughout, steady mover. Coat presented well with good markings. Not quite as together as 1 at this stage. 

Puppy Dog (1/0)

1st Nandobears Against All Odds (Mrs M Kingham)

10 month old black of good size and substance for age. Correct scissor bite, head developing well, dark eye of correct shape. Good length of neck on to well laid shoulders. Strong bone to support his size. Good depth of check with plenty of heart and lung room. Short loin giving him a strong level top line. Good tail carriage, covered the ground with ease. Good coat presented well. Pleased to award him BPIB. 

Junior Dog (5/0)

1st Elgrandbear Razz Ma Tazz JW (Mrs P & Miss A Leech & Moir)

16 month black, scissor bite, dark eye, head of good proportions. Good reach of neck, well laid back should and good fore chest. Well boned through out. Moved well covering the ground with ease, with correct level tail carriage. Pleased to award him Best Junior in Breed. 

2nd Green Pearl under The Stars avec Angelscove (Imp Fra) (Miss D G Aplin)

12 month black of good size, level bite. Another at the awkward junior stage. Head developing well with gentle expression. Good reach of neck, well angled through out. Strong level top line and good spring of rib. A little messy on the move today but once settled covered the ground well. 

Post Graduate Dog (4/1)

1st Twillin Gate Vancouver Acara (Imp Bel) (Mrs C A Bodman)

2.5 year old black, scissor bite, dark eye and the expression to melt your heart! Head well developed. Good reach of neck. Well angled front and rear with strong bone and tidy feet. Covered the ground with ease. Presented well with fantastic coat. A serious contender in the challenge 

2nd Zentaur Fizzical Therapy (Miss N & Mrs C & Mrs C Owles & Owles & Bristow)

2 year old black dog, scissor bite and head of good proportions. Would like more reach of neck. Well angled through out with good bone for size. Strong top line with good tail carriage. Moved well, covering the ground with drive and presented in top condition.

1st Nandobears You’ll Never Walk Alone (Imp Deu) (Mrs L Chapman)

22 month black of good size coming into his prime, scissor bite, head well developed with gentle expression. Good reach of neck on to well set shoulders. Chest deep with good fore chest. Strong top line and well angled rear, covered the ground with ease working so well with handler. Good tail carriage to complete the picture. Pleased to award him his second CC today and I am sure the 3rd won’t be far behind. 

2nd Grimm Black Cullinan for Cannark (Mrs N Arkell)

2.5 yr old black, another impressive male. Head well developed with typical expression. Scissor bite, dark eye of good shape. Well boned through out and impressed with his overall balance. Moved well in the class and was called back in to challenge for RCC. Presented in beautiful condition. 

Open Dog (2/0)

1st Oukaya Forever Stormtrooper at Millthorpe (Imp Fra) NAF TAF (Mrs A P & Miss S Springthorpe & Delacroix)

2.5 year old white and black dog with minimal ticking of good size. Dark eye with good pigment, the expression to melt you that only a white and black can give. Well angled through out with good muscle tone, moved well covering the ground but lacked drive today in the challenge. Pleased to award him the RCC. 

2nd Sasquatch Zero to Hero (Mr M Drakeford)

Black dog of smaller type than 1. Lots to like about this boy and he pushed the class winner hard. Really enjoying his day and giving his handler a challenge. Scissor bite, dark eye and head of good proportions. Well balanced throughout and once settled covered the ground with ease. 

Veteran Dog or Bitch (2/0)

1st Shinglebay High Hopes ShCM VW (Mrs P Franklin)

10 year old bitch who absolutely isn’t showing her age. Correct bite, good head proportions, dark eye with kind expression. Fantastic bone and well angled through out. Strong top line showing no weakness. A true credit to her owner. She came into her own on the move where she covered the ground with complete ease. Pleased to award her Best Veteran and later in the day see her go on to take Veteran Group 4. 

2nd Mermaids Pride Jello Shot avec Zentaur (Imp Fra) (Mr G K & Mrs R M Canning)

10 year old white and black celebrating his birthday today. Another one who is credit to his owner, in fantastic shape for his age. Well angled through out with good strong top line, lacked the drive of 1 today but an absolute gentleman. 

Minor Puppy Bitch (2/0)

1st Mileoak Hocus Pocus (Mrs T & Mr S Stanton & Latham)

7 month old black, scissor bite, pleasing dark eye. Good bone for size with correct angles through out. Steady mover for one so young, covering the ground with ease holding top line and with good tail carriage. Two lovely babies in this class who could easily swap places another day.

Mileoak Wishing On A Star (Mrs G & Dr M Popple)

Another 7 month old black, slightly more raw compared to 1 but still lots to like about her with many of the same attributes. Fantastic bone, slightly down in pasterns at this stage. Covered the ground with ease.

Junior Bitch (2/1)

1st Twillin Gate Villustrious among Zentaur (Imp Bel) (Mr G J, Mrs T A & Misses E G & F L Coldwell)

17 month black bitch of fantastic size. Scissor bite, dark eye of good shape, head still developing at this stage. Good reach of neck onto well set shoulders. Well balanced in body with good bone for size. Covered the ground with ease with strong steady movement,. 

Post Graduate Bitch (4/3)

1st Valleybears Proud Mary (Dr T Sepp)

4 year old brown absolutely loving her day out, making her handler work. Good bone through out and well angled. Presented in good condition and the most gorgeous shade of brown. Covered the ground with ease. 

Limit Bitch (7/0)

One of the strongest classes of the day with a good selection of impressive girls.

1st King of Helluland Blue Organza (Mrs S A & Mr T J Bull)

Black bitch with the most beautiful head and melting expression presented in top condition. Well constructed through out with strong level top line. Covered the ground with ease with good tail carriage. Worked well with handler. Pleased to award her the RCC. 

2nd Will of The Emperor's Could This Be Love (Imp Esp) (Miss R L Haresign)

Black bitch of good size and in fantastic coat. Pleasing head set onto a neck with good reach. Moved well, covering the ground with ease, slightly proud of tail today but didn’t detract from overall outline. This entire class was a pleasure to judge making some extremely difficult decisions. 

Open Bitch (4/1)

1st Ohoi’s About Damn Time (Imp Nor) (Mrs C Baldock)

2 year old bitch of pure unexaggerated quality. Totally balanced throughout. Head of correct proportions to give the kind expression. Good reach of neck leading to well angled front. Strong bone and tight feet. Level top line with good strength in loin. Well angled read giving good strong drive not he move. Tail carried well to complete the picture. Pleased to award her 2nd CC and Best of Breed, I look forward to gaining her crown. Thrilled to watch her put on a food perfect performance in the group. 

2nd Ch Zentaur This Is Jam Hot (ai) JW ShCM OSW (Mr G J, Mrs T A & Misses E G & F L Coldwell)

Brown of fantastic quality. Scissor bite, head of correct proportions with dark eye to match coat colour. Well angled through out and covered the ground with ease maintaining a strong level top line. Presented beautifully in top condition.
