Special Beginners D/B

1st Kulawand Casanova (Mrs J A & Mr S Woodhams)

Pleasing make and shape. Head of good proportions and well moulded. Good reach of neck and well placed shoulders. Needs to develop in the forechest as he matures as expected for his age. Firm topline and a good finish to the croup. Width to the thigh. True on the move but I would like a little more animation.

Minor Puppy Dog

1st Glamour Shine Bravo Six (Miss M & Miss A Racic & Weber)

Super puppy, loved his outline, which was balanced and very clean for a youngster. Beautiful head and expression with correctly shaped eyes. Neck and shoulders spot on with a good return of forearm. Depth to his chest and ribbed back to a firm loin. Bang on finish to the croup and well made quarters. Good legs and feet and has the correct amount of substance whilst remaining racy. Liked him a lot. Accurate footfall and sound free flowing side gait on the move. My pleasure to award him Best Puppy and RDCC.

2nd Oiyou Waldorf (Mrs L Gordon)

Six months, well grown with good bone and substance. Topline needs to level out a little as he matures. Pleasing head with moderate stop and a gentle expression. Balanced angled fore and aft. Happy and confident mover, super temperament.

Junior Dog

1st Vynesbrook Hobson's Choice (Mrs H Smith)

Clean in outline, I liked his length of leg and proportions . Most attractive headpiece, with good eye shape and slight stop. Clean through the neck and flows through into his the shoulders. Body developing well and firm through the loin. Powerful quarters in hard condition. Level topline and good tailset. Accurate on the move and covered the ground well.

2nd Kulawand Callisto (Mr & Mrs R S & Mrs P Lane & Lane-Ridyard)

Appealing head with slight stop and clean flat skull. Strong neck, well placed shoulders slightly shorter in forearm and front leg than one. Deep chest and well bodied. Well ribbed back and a good finish to the croup. Width to his thigh and in hard condition. Moved well in profile just not as tidy coming towards today and just needs to tighten as he matures.

Yearling Dog.

1st Clandrift Bring Me Sunshine JW (Mrs V Bowen)

He impressed as he entered the ring for his fabulous open side gait and accurate footfall. Masculine and well moulded head with an appealing expression. All male without any coarseness. Very well made front assembly, with shoulders well placed and a good return of forearm. Depth to chest and well ribbed back, level topline and good quarters in super hard condition. He was accurate and precise on the out and back, had carriage and style on the go around and in the challenge he pulled out all the stops to take the DCC.

2nd Almanza Late Breaking News (Imp Swe) TAF (K Anderson)

Impressive male who gets your attention with his attitude and showmanship.. Well grown on and just needing to fill in front a little. Masculine head, flat skull, well moulded with a gentle expression. Good neck and shoulders, a shade shorter in forearm than one. Well ribbed and short loin with a good tailset. Beautiful make and shape, full of type and quality. Lovely moulded head and expression. Clean in outline and put together very well, my hands just flowed over her finding all the pieces fitting correctly together. Moved effortlessly and covered the ground holding her shape and outline.

Another who appealed for outline and substance. Pleasing head with a slight stop and almond shaped eyes. Would like a shade more neck to complete her balance. Good through the rib and loin, with a firm topline. Accurate footfall, driving from the rear and placing her feet well..

3rd Kimberfield in Love Again (Mrs R Richards)

Not the easiest of classes to judge as many were at the inbetween stage of development.

Good substance throughout. Feminine head and expression with a dark almond eye. Well made front assembly and straight legs. Had a good forechest and well sprung ribs. Level topline and good finish to the croup. Width to second thigh and moved true out and back to take the class.

2nd Bochilbarley My Girl (Mrs P Bellamy)

Placed down the line in junior as not settled and playing her handler up. Pleasing head and expression. Would like a little more layback of shoulders, straight front pleasing topline with a correct finish to the croup. Good width of second thigh and hard condition. Moved better in this class as she had claimed down a little.

3rd Lussac April Shower (Mrs S May)

Post Grad Bitch

1st Pajanbeck Georgy Girl (Mr P, Mrs J & Miss S & Mrs V Egginton & Davis)

Liked her head and expression, long and well moulded. Clean neck and well made front assembly. Straight front with good legs and feet. Ribbed well back and firm in topline. Good finish to the croup. Width to thigh and moved using her quarters well. Accurate footfall.

2nd Waverton Ice and Fire (Mrs H Cobby)

Pleasing head and expression. Longer case and didn’t hold her topline as well as one on the move. Straight front with good legs, would like tighter feet. Deep chest with ribs well back. Tended to stand with her back legs too far underneath her, causing her topline to rise over the loin. Moved true on the out and back but in profile short stepped and didn't have the reach and drive of one.

Limit Bitch

1st Moontorn Better Half of Me JW (Miss A Bellamy)

Very smart in outline and took my attention as she entered the ring. She appealed for overall balance and outline, just flowing from nose to tail and put down in super condition. Feminine and well proportioned head with good moulding, a dark almond shaped eye and mischievous expression. Clean through the neck and shoulder. Well made front assembly and standing on good legs and feet. Deep chest, well ribbed back and a level topline with a good finish to the croup. Width to second thigh and the desired rear angulation to complete the balance. Moved holding her outline well, placing her feet correctly and had style and carriage throughout. In the challenge I moved her off against the impressive Open winner but felt that she maintained her outline a little better and had that little something extra. Pleased to award her the CC and BOB.

2nd Vynesbrook Deja Bleu (Mr M G Lewin)

Slightly taller but maintaining her balance and with good substance. Not in her best coat today. Feminine and well moulded head with a gentle expression. Straight front and good legs and feet. Well ribbed back and firm through the loin. Good finish to the croup. Positive and accurate mover.
