My third time awarding CC’s in a breed that I have now lived with for 35 years! I don’t want to be negative about the breed as I was very pleased with my entry numbers and main winners but I feel people are really either not understanding the standard, are not asking the right questions when buying from abroad, or simply are not asking the advice and taking mentoring from established people within the breed.
Overall faults which were too common today, broad backskulls and muzzle's with little or no chiselling, puffs lacking in veil coats instead carrying one’s the Lhasa’s would be proud of, ear fringing so thick they are dragging carriage down and ruining expressions, large round eyes, and whilst I am not overly bothered on size, many were significantly up to size but then lacking in length and therefore completely unbalanced.

1st: 6921 KENNEY, Mrs C Be My Dog's Vote For Mr Red Via Epiphany CW11 certainly alert and on his toes, this hairless was a good size and had skin in great condition. Masculine but not overly coarse in head, enough neck which was strong, well muscled all through and good hare feet. A nice tail set well carried at all times, powerful on the move.

Class 2456 OD (4 Entries) Abs: 0
Two brothers, lot’s to like on either, but they are not the same however either could stand in first place.
1st: 6910 CROW, Mrs Donna Ch Kojiki's The Look Of Love At Casacavallo JW the smaller of the two, he is masculine but in no way exaggerated. Good head with very dark eyes and well set ears. Clean neck and shoulders, good depth of brisket. Well proportioned body and strong, muscular hindquarters. His absolutely level topline held steady at all times with correctly set tail carried high on the move. A deserved CC and BOB.
2nd: 6909 CROW, Mrs Donna Ch Kojiki's Love To Hate Me At Casacavallo JW larger than his brother but not quite the balance in body. Skin again is excellent as was his tail set and carriage, he is an effortless mover showing real power from rear drive. Excellent ears well placed on a head different to his brother but attractive with slightly longer muzzle, I would have liked a darker eye.

1st: 6931 LYONS, Mr Lynden & LYONS, Mr Mackenzie Bryelis Let's Go Girls Avec Shengson what an immaculately presented little rocket this lady was. Of deer type, balanced body with length of loin, level topline, moderate tuck up, well rounded rump, excellent tail set and carriage which showed beautifully on the move. Her head is just so pretty, feminine with great balance, dark almond eyes. Still time to finish growing and settle into herself but I could not deny this little pony the CC and BP today. Will make up easily.
2nd: 6936 MOYES, Mrs Elsie & SHAW, J & HUNTER-RYAN, G Bryelis Oops I Lost My Halo another quality exhibit from this breeder, of excellent type. Very well developed for age. Typical head, great ears. Great front. with well laid shoulder. Deep chest. Excellent topline. Excellent skin, crest and socks. She was tending to tuck a little standing but then it was late and cold.

1st: 6937 MOYES, Mrs Elsie & SHAW, J & HUNTER-RYAN, G Bryelis Talking Bout My Girl and another! Wow, you really have managed to breed for type and quality with these exhibits – congratulations and keep up the consistency. Very pleasing for both balance and type, excellent body and she too is a great mover. Her eyes are just a little bit round for me but head shape and balance is great as is ear set and carriage. Beautiful skin.
2nd: 6928 LANE, Mrs L Konishiki Omega Energetic, lively and sound on the move with good skin and decent furnishings. A really pretty and feminine girl with lovely ears and dark eyes, she is balanced with a very typical outline. Smaller and finer than the winner but with enough bone and depth of brisket. Nicely rounded, muscled rump.

Class 2462 JB (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 6929 LANE, Mrs L Konishiki Ventress I quite like this girl as I see her having a purpose in the breed. Has more bone than some but in no way heavy or coarse, she has a really old fashioned head, a little light in ear, lovely dark almond eyes. Overall her size is good, she is cobbier, decent furnishings and moved accurately enough.
Class 2463 PGB (7 Entries) Abs: 2
1st: 6925 KIRKWOOD, Mr G Bryelis Star A'traction JW elegant and feminine in her outline she is balanced with good length of loin but would not want any more. Great angulations front and rear, holds a level topline, she is effortless when she moves. Her head is classic with good ears and eyes that I preferred over 2nd. Very well presented skin, although a little heavier in furnishings than my preference. Muscle was excellent and temperament one of the best today. Res CC.
2nd: 6940 MOYES, Mrs Elsie & SHAW, J & HUNTER-RYAN, G & PU Bryelis Oh I Wannabe Famous JW a good size this one, not the confidence of the winner. Beautiful skin. Well bodied and angulated and good topline. Another with desired head and well furnished.

2nd: 6939 MOYES, Mrs Elsie & SHAW, J & HUNTER-RYAN, G Bryelis Picture Perfect Taf a grey and white puff with a fine veil coat which was just a little lacking finish today. 3rd: 6945 PANAYIOTIS, Mrs A D Ynchreenoo Kesmadyn Shee
Class 2465 OB (3 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 6930 LAWS, Mrs K Ch Karamouche Parti Frock JW a larger B/W bitch with a very good head and expression, strong mobile ears, good dentition, dark eyes. Lengthy neck and level topline held when stacked. Her veil coat was very well presented in good condition both in length and texture. A lovely tail and correct carriage on the move. Initially thought she would feature in higher honours but she was not moving as happily as I have seen and was taken at quite a speed therefore the front and back ends were not quite in sync today.
2nd: 6956 KEMPSTER, Lady Margaret & REES, Miss Gwenllian Ch Oolagha Kristol Ayla JW another puff in full coat, a very well bodied lady with very feminine head, correct eyes, dentition and ear set. Ears used well at all times. Keeps a level topline and moved confidently. Coat felt a little drier than first.

2nd: 6919 HELLMUTH, Mr & Mrs Sw & Am Ch. Shumllea Press Release Jw. A lady of good size and balance, she was a little overwhelmed on the table today due to an earlier experience. Has a good head, ears, eyes and mouth, correct hare feet, good tail set, she was pulling her owner on the move a bit today.
