National Whippet Association
The National Whippet Association Championship Show, Dogs, was held on 10/08/2024 in conjunction with Bournemouth Championship Show.
BabyPD (3,1abs)
1st Perkins - Silkridge Black Caviar; A lovely black with white trim baby puppy dog at 4.5 months old. He had a super front and lay of shoulder and was good for bone. Good length of ribbing and correct loin and topline, shapely over his rear and lovely stifles, moved out very well for his age. Best Baby Puppy in Show.
2nd Woods – Ardencote Keep Dreaming; fawn of just 5 months with a lovely head and expression, just a bit upright on his front yet and definitely feeling the breeze here today so not making the best of himself overall. Good for bone, sufficiently ribbed back, good loin and shapely rear.
3rd Williams – Starceylon Bella Notte At Tigsisie

1st Wayman & Wayman – Crème Anglaise’s One More Knight At Scarletfair (imp NLD) VW; A fawn and white parti of lovely type, good head and long neck into correct front. Has a lovely depth of body, good ribbing and correct loin with a good topline and curvy underline. Lovely shape over his rear, good stifles, nothing overdone on this boy who moved out extremely well here. BVIS
2nd Shepherds – Ch Citycroft Sundae With Oxana JW Sh. Cm, Shcex, VW; a lovely fawn lad who I had awarded a CC some years before. Another with a good head and length of neck, well laid shoulders and body depth, long ribbing and correct loin, good in topline and flow to stifles. Just not as together on the move today.
3rd Taylors – Musblaiks Light My Fire.

1st Wayman – Speymalt Northern Star JW; a balanced and typey white parti lad, good head and long strong neck into his correct front. Has lovely body depth, well ribbed back to his correct loin, shapely underline and topline flowing into his correct rear angles. Moved out very well from all angles.
2nd Leathart – Ringmore Dalrymple; a balanced and typey fawn dog with a lovely head and expression, nicely angulated front and rear and with good depth of body. Well ribbed up, firm in loin, good underline and topline and well muscled for his age.
3rd Searle – Quick Silver He’s The One For Whipsearle VW
MPD (6,1abs)
1st Graham – Ohoka Tip Top; 6 month old fawn with white trim of lovely size and a super head and expression. Good shoulder and front construction and sufficient depth for his age. Nicely ribbed back into the loin and good angles in his back quarters. A lovely balanced baby who moved out soundly here.
2nd Perkins – Zeglynn Christmas Present; a lovely young dog but still a little raw at the moment. His lovely neck flowed well into his front, good lay of shoulder, sufficient depth of body for his age, good for length of ribbing into firm loin and curvy rear quarters. Needs to settle a bit more but this will come.
3rd Willey & Hofstetter – Lawleymoon Elba Castillo

1st Wilton Clark – Shalfleet Oliver Twist JW; such a lovely size and well balanced lad of quality. Lovely head and expression with a long neck into a well laid front, good body depth and curvy underline and topline, well ribbed back into a firm loin and correctly angled rear quarters. Flowed around the ring moving well from all angles. BPD
2nd Grisoli – Loroli Devil’s Stone; balanced brindle male with a lovely head and expression, good length neck into his well laid front. Good body depth with lovely topline and curvy underline, well ribbed up into a firm loin and good, well set strong rear quarters.
3rd Leathart – Ringmore Jamieson

1st Brew – Crosscop Wanna Go For A Ride With Supeta; pale fawn brindle of a lovely size and with a good head and expression. A nicely balanced youngster with good front construction, good depth of brisket, well ribbed up into a firm loin, shapely topline and underline all flowing into good rear quarters.
2nd Earnshaw – Palmik I Know What I Like At Moonshadow; brindle built on slightly bigger lines to first and a bit stronger in front. Nice in head and neck, well laid shoulder and good for depth of body with lovely ribbing and firm loin. Good in topline and return of stifle, shapely underline.
3rd Hambling – Chaseover Tom Collins

1st Yacoby Wright – Ch Cobyco Catch Your Eye; a fawn of lovely size and overall shape, a very typey male. Good in head and underjaw, long and strong neck into his well constructed front. Well ribbed back into a firm loin with a lovely underline and topline. Curvy rear quarters with good stifles and no exaggerations. Moved out very well and delighted to award him the DCC & later agreed on BIS.
2nd Perkins – Silkridge Rapture With Zeglynn; smart brindle parti in good condition with a pleasing head and expression and length of neck and strength. Shapely topline and underline, good angulation front and rear with depth of body and well ribbed back but shortened on the stack at times due to the wind and a little unsettled on the move today.
3rd Chappell – Blueflight Brewin Up A Storm

1st Stephens – Jasteal Knight Of Kynance; pale brindle with white trim lad with a lovely head and expression. Good for size and balance but another who sadly felt the chill at times. Good length to his neck into a well laid front, correct depth and underline and well ribbed back into a firm loin and pleasing topline. Shapely rear quarters, nothing overdone and moved out nicely here.
2nd Strong & Clinton – Crosscop Kiss Me Here For Mackjama; fawn and white boy with a lovely neck into his well laid shoulders, curvy topline and underline but flattened a bit on the move and was a bit unsettled here. Sufficiently ribbed back and shapely rear quarters, just felt that he needed to tighten into his frame yet, but he is still very young.
3rd Lawsons – Kipipiriking Blue Bandana

1st Howgate & Hull – Palmik Truth About Love JW; super young pale brindle dog with a lovely head and expression. Good for size and balance overall, long, firm neck into his well constructed front with a lovely body depth. Shapely underline and topline and well ribbed up into a firm loin. Correctly angled rear quarters and moved out well.
2nd Allansson & MacDonald – Zoraden Simply The Zest Of Macalldon; a lovely fawn and white dog with a pleasing head and expression although would prefer a touch flatter on top. Lovely length and firm neck into a well laid front, good for depth of body and curvy underline. Well ribbed up, firm loin and shapely topline flowing into correctly angled rear quarters. Presented in lovely condition and moved out well.
3rd Cahill & Timberlake – Shine On Harvey Moon At Chipperlake.

2nd Searle & Rawlinson – Reffton Tibalt At Whipsearle JW (Sp Imp); fawn dog of a good size, lovely head and expression and good length neck into his well laid shoulder. Correct body depth and ribbing, firm loin with nicely set rear quarters. Shapely underline and topline, moved out well.
3rd Severn – Boland Baloo For Nattah

1st Tristram – Supeta’s Just Do It; fawn and white parti, loved his head and
expression. Good length to his strong neck flowing into his well laid shoulders
and good for depth of body. Well ribbed back into firm loin, curvy underline and topline into correct rear quarters. A balanced dog with nothing overdone. Moved out well.
2nd Wayman – Ranveli Beach Boy At Scarletfair; another smart dog, pale brindle parti with a lovely head and expression, lovely neck length into his well set shoulders, has depth to his body and length of ribbing, good underline and topline and correct length of stifle and hock. Just a touch untidy on the move here today.
3rd Willey & Hofstetter – Hergehill Just Hugo.

1st Richards – Richclass From Here On Out; fawn dog, nothing overdone or exaggerated, he had a lovely head and expression and a good length of neck into his correctly constructed front. Lovely flowing topline and depth of brisket, well ribbed back into his firm loin all flowing into his correctly angled rear quarters. Moved out very well.
2nd Higginbottom – Ranveli Royal Duke Of Dawnsafon JW; another lovely fawn lad with a good head and lovely expression. Super length of neck flowing into his correctly angled front. Good depth to his body and length of ribbing, curvy underline and topline into his correctly set rear quarters. Slightly unsettled on the move here today.
3rd Brew – Boxing Helena’s Victor Ena (imp. Bel)

1st Allansson – Zoraden Macchiato JW; soundly moving dog of good size with a lovely head and expression, lovely neck of strength and length into his well laid front. Gentle curve to his topline, shapely underline with good depth of brisket, well ribbed back into a firm loin and correct angles to his rear quarters, moved out well.
2nd Tristram – Supeta’s Just Do It; first in PGD.

1st Wheeler – Ch Ranveli Diki Diki; brindle dog who just flows under the hand. Good expression to his lovely head, nice length neck into his correctly angled front construction. Shapely topline & underline with body of depth, he is well ribbed back and with a good firm loin. Correctly angled rear quarters, presented in lovely condition. Moved out well here. RDCC & RBIS
2nd Perkins & Van Der Schaaf – Ch Crème Anglaise’s Just Julian With Silkridge; loved this brindle & white trims outline here but felt that he was just very slightly heavier in front than first. Lovely shaped head and expression, good neck into his well angled front and lovely body depth. Well ribbed into a firm loin, good topline flowing into his correctly angled rear quarters. Moved well.
3rd Woods – Ardencote What A Rogue.

1st Winter & Yeates – Zoraden Bright Star; typey fawn parti dog, good for size with a lovely head and expression. Strong neck of good length, good front construction and body depth, Well ribbed back with firm loin of sufficient length, curvy underline and shapely topline. Correctly angled rear quarters and moved out well. Best spec racing/coursing in show.
2nd Webber – Lolani Ride A Trial JW; pale brindle dog, another with a good head shape and expression. Good length neck flowing into his well laid front, body of good depth and ribbing, firm over the loin and curvy underline and topline. A little untidy on the move here today.
3rd Jenkinson – Coppermow Harfang Avec Elstoto
