Breed: Jack Russell Terrier

My thanks to the exhibitors for giving me such a smashing entry on my first appointment at thislevel, this was very much appreciated. I had some really tough decisions in some classes. Special thanks must go to my most efficient stewards, Julie & Barry, who kept everything running very smoothly.

Class PD (3 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 6158 MCCLUSKEY, Mr Philip & YOUNG, Miss Jillian Chadbrook Arran, well-proportioned and balanced all through at just 6 months. He has a dark eye and well set ears, enough bone and good set on. Moved well.

2nd: 6143 FOXALL, Mrs Emma Navigareamor Storm Fergus, another at 6 months, he has good pigment, shoulders, and well angulated quarters This attractive youngster is a little longer in the muzzle, than 1st and he just didn’t want to move today.

3rd: 6142 DUKE, Mrs Janet & GILL, Miss Tracy Rushden Carbon Copy

Class JD (4 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 6150 IRVING, Miss T J Twinan High Regard, this 15 months old is as smart as paint, loved his outline and balance. With a pleasing head, nice straight front and well boned legs he was easily spannable. He has a good length to his stride and his coat is in good order.

2nd: 6153 LAYCOCK, Mrs Claire Chandlimore Buddy Boy, this lad has plenty of spirit, he’s such a lively boy. Well-presented, he stands on neat feet and is OK for bone, not much between these two, just preferring the outline and muzzle length of 1 on the day.

3rd: 6138 COPPING & WINNARD, Ms & Mr Ruth & Steven Jaeva Moon Pilot For Rutaaro

Class PGD (4 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 6141 DONNELLY, Miss Stephanie Calavey's Abu, a happy chappie, this lad really appealed. He is well balanced and is easily spanned with good overall confirmation. His head has a moderate width of skull with strength to his muzzle and a strong neck leading to well laid shoulders. He has a level topline and good set on, moving well, Res Best Dog.

2nd: 6170 THORNLEY, Mr David & SMITH, Mrs JOY Dancing In The Dark At Robythorn, this chap has some really nice breed features. He has a pleasing head with good pigmentation, ample bone & stands on tidy feet plus hocks set low, although a little longer in back than 1st he carries himself well.

3rd: 6157 MCCLUSKEY, Mr Philip & YOUNG, Miss Jillian Totgrees Hendrik To Chadbrook,

Class OD (9 Entries) Abs: 0

An excellent class! 1st: WITMOND, Miss A E & FONZO, Mrs Monica All Jacks Urano, I was really taken with this stylish dog. Good head of correct proportions, a dark eye and neat ears. He has a good length of upper arm, shoulders back, elbows tucked in plus easily spannable. Correct topline and tuck up, well bent stifles and moving off on his muscular quarters with a good length to his stride, best mover in the class. Best Dog.

2nd: THORNLEY, Mr David & SMITH, Mrs JOY Fast Love With Locheil Shcex, another typy Jack. He has a super masculine head, strong neck, good for ribbing and has good angulation at both ends. Not quite the topline of 1st , nevertheless a very nice boy.

3rd: LAYCOCK, Mrs Claire Chandlimore Buddy Boy

Class VD (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 6130 BIGGERSTAFF - MOORE, Mrs Shirley Int Ch Ir Ch Chatmoss Finlagan Of Benzara (at3) CW19, at 8 years young, this lad is OK for head and expression with neat ears, is well proportioned and in good coat and condition.

2nd: 6155 MCCABE, Ms. Sue Krisbos Jellybean, rising 8 years he is a smart little chap with good musculature. His jacket is in good order, moved & handled well.

Class SBD/B (3 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: LAYCOCK, Mrs Claire Chandlimore Buddy Boy, pleased to see him standing 4th in the Terrier Special Beginners Group! Well done!

2nd: HAMAR, Ms Rosita As A Kite, good for coat, condition, & well-muscled quarters this bitch has a touch too much depth.

3rd: SMITH, Mrs Barbara & SMITH, mr Andrew Jackpack Close Up Roobarjacks

Class PB (5 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 6135 CLAYTON, Mrs & Miss J Undiscussed With Russtyle's Du Vallon De L'alba Northdrum (Imp Fr), such a pretty pup, this 11 months girl has a pleasing head neat ears, a good length to her neck and a tidy front. She has a well-proportioned body and strong topline & moved off well. BP.

2nd: 6134 CLAYTON, Mrs & Miss J Northdrum Highland Gold, from the same kennel as 1st and with the same good handling & presentation. Feminine head, stands on well boned limbs and a lovely outline but better coming to than going away.

3rd: SMITH, Mrs Barbara & SMITH, Mr Andrew Jackpack Close Up Roobarjacks

Class JB (5 Entries) Abs: 2 Very little to separate these first two wonderful bitches with not much between them.

1st: WITMOND, Miss A E, Tiltser Fortuna, very attractive at 16 months, good for shape and size this young lady really appealed and was in the running for top honours. She has a strong neck carrying her well-shaped head, a dark eye, neat front and balances well. Level back, good bend of stifle and low set hocks. Moved well with a free striding gait.

 2nd: TATE, Mrs K & NAGRECHA, Mr Aaron Chandlimore High Heels On By Jaeva, very similar remarks apply to this lovely girl, she is so well presented and handled. Just a tidge shorter in body than 1, she has a super head with good furnishings, a tidy front and neat feet. Muscular hindquarters which she used to move off well.

3rd: HARCOURT-MORRIS, Mrs V G Vixenview Gin Fizz For Lenacourt

Class PGB (8 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: CONNELLY, Miss D Lovely-orange Aloiza, she has a pleasing outline being very well balanced. She has a super head with lovely dark eyes, is easily spannable and good for pelt & jacket. Great for topline and tailset, moved really well.

2nd: 6166 TATE, Mrs K & DRAGON, Miss Oliwia & SHANMUGAM, Mr, Tomgram Patricia Jaeva, another little corker with her “look at me” attitude and waggy tail. She has a well-proportioned head with neat ears, enough depth with elbows tucked in, on the move better coming than out.

3rd: 6154 MACKAY, Mr S. & MACDONALD, Miss A. & TURNER, Mrs H Locheil Snow Queen

Class OB (3 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 6167 TATE, Mrs K & NAGRECHA, Mr Aaron Jaeva Page Turner Chandlimore, my star of the day, such a stylish girl of super proportions sporting a correct outline. She has a moderate width to her head, dark eyes and well-placed ears. Good front assembly that’s spannable, super coat and furnishings and is good for ribbing & topline. She has excellent quarters, with well-coordinated movement. Best Bitch and so pleased to see her later pulled to cut in the group.

2nd: 6165 SPENCER, Mrs Carole A. & ROBERTS, Mrs Lesley Multi Ch Jackandfish Shady Lady (Imp) It, loved her super type, what I would call a good, honest bitch. She has the most appealing head, shoulders back, good forchest strong topline. She has a good length from hip to hock and her stifles are well bent. Although carrying a smidge too much weight today, moved with drive Res Best Bitch.

3rd: 6133 BIGGERSTAFF - MOORE, Mrs Shirley Benzara Mischief Maker:

1st: 6163 ROBERTS, Mrs Lesley & MURRAY, Mrs C A Ducklings Jr Just Qutie At Mindlen VW (Swed Imp) well-proportioned all through this rising 8 years bitch has a typy head and keen expression, good for tail & topline, stands on well boned limbs and moved well. BVeteran

2nd: 6131 BIGGERSTAFF - MOORE, Mrs Shirley Ir Ch Int Ch Saredon Miss Malone Of Benzara CW19, slightly different type to 1 being a tad more up on the leg, This 7 year old has a feminine head with a good frontispiece, is spannable, neat feet and muscular quarters.
