Lovely entry, only 3 absent on the day, with some cracking Kleins to go over. Thank you to all exhibitors and to the great stewards who kept the ring moving nicely.

Class 88 JD (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: WILLIAMS, Mrs J & PEARCE, Mr Gary & FRANCIS, Mr Da Longsdale's Dance With Me Trebettyn. 16 mo sable with correct head and good dark eyes. Just off-square in outline, super overall construction, good bone and feet. Correct coat, presented so well. Moved out briskly, looking very smart.

1st: WILLIAMS, Mrs J & PEARCE, Mr Gary & FRANCIS, Mr Da Longsdale's Dance With Me Trebettyn. (notes as Junior)

2nd: FOSTER, Mrs Janet Elaine Claran Court Your Eye. Cream dog of 22months. Attractive head and good eye shape and neat ears. Very square and nicely constructed overall. Needs to body up and attention paid to some eye stains, which detract. Not as tidy on the move as 1 and going a little wide behind.

Class 90 LD (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: ANDREW, Ms Karoline Claran Court Your Breath. Loved this 20mo cream. Lovely for type, super outline and abundant coat, well presented. Attractive head with good oval eye shape and well placed, neat ears. Once settled he was very good on the move, lovely side gait and straight coming and going. Pleased to award him the DCC.

2nd: ROGERSON, Miss L J Nosregor Take It All. 2yo black with the most lovely, masculine head. Nice overall shape and good short loin. Slightly longer in hock than 1. Lacking a little coat today, but it was of correct texture. On the move he was very sound.

1st: FRANCIS, Mr D & PEARCE, Mr G Ch Longsdale's Blame It On Me. Lovely 5yo cream male. I liked his masculine head and lovely eyes and sparkling teeth, and super pigment. Good square outline. Presented well. Moved well, but was going slightly wide in front. Quality dog. RDCC

2nd: HILL, Mrs Shirley & HILL, Mr Peter Fernando Z Temnych Noci At Cyfelin ( Imp Cz). Sable, of nice make and shape, good bone and feet. Condition of teeth could be do with closer attention; bite good. Carrying a little excess weight, but moved ok.

Class 92 VD (3 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: TRENDLE, Mrs C Lusam Cheeky Boy. 10 yo cream, not showing his age. A little off-square, but of nice overall construction. Lovely head and expression. Fit and well-muscled and moved out so soundly. A lovely lad.

2nd: HILL, Mrs Shirley & GILRAINE, Mr Robert & GILLRAIN Ch Cyfelin Rudna Romeo. Delightful 16yo sable. Super square outline and lovely construction. While the years may be showing, he was still fit and moving well.

1st: HICKSON, Miss Natasha L & HICKSON, Mr Colin Claran Court Of Delights At Kichigai. Lovely red shaded cream puppy, developing just as she ought. Pretty, feminine head with nice eye shape and colour, correct proportions, sufficient bone and good feet. Super coat, well presented. Made a picture on the stand and then moved out well, brisk and sound. BPIB

1st: FOSTER, Mrs Janet Elaine Bemojo Pearls Of Honey. Cream of nice type, neat in head, eyes a little bold, but shape ok. Overall proportions correct but needs to body up. Coat of good quality and well presented. Moved ok.

Class 98 OB (3 Entries) Abs: 0 Three lovely bitches.

1st: FRANCIS, Mr D & PEARCE, Mr G Longsdale's Remember Me. Super brown bitch who shouted ‘class’ at me when I first saw her, and my notes say ‘what I wanted to see’. Lovely square shape, feminine head with neat ears, good eyes, overall construction was bang on. On the move she was brisk, sound and full of the love of life! BCC and BOB.

2nd: FRANCIS, Mr D & PEARCE, Mr G Ch Longsdale's No More The Fool. Another lovely girl, this one cream. Slightly longer in outline but in this class I was being very picky. Pretty in head with lovely eye set and colour. Coat in excellent order; correct bone and feet and showing correct and sound movement.

3rd: ROGERSON, Miss L J Ch Nosregor Sister Sledge

Class 99 VB (4 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: FERRY, Miss J & FERRY, Mrs Sue Ch Longsdale's Little Bird With Ferrybelle. 7 yo sable of lovely make and shape. Pretty head, neat ears, lovely bite and teeth. Square, well-constructed, correct bone and feet. Abundant coat, presented so well. She was very sound on the move. I loved her! RBCC and BVIB.

2nd: TRENDLE, Mrs C Lusam Toodle Pip Sh.CM. At 13 yo, this youngster demonstrates the staying power of the breed – and what a great fitness regime can do. Dark sable, pretty in head, lovely ears. Good outline and construction. She also showed like a lovely, happy showgirl. While more stately on the move, she was sound. A real star.

3rd: KETTLEWHITE, Ms Janet Ann & KETTLEWHITE, Miss Davi Jay Feather Parti Light
