Many thanks to the Australian Shepherd exhibitors for a very nice entry and for taking their places in a very sporting manner. Veteran Dog (1) 1. Downes’, Damani Dream Give Me Five at Milwyr, 7 years old Black Tri with a balanced head, nice flow from the neck into a good topline, but he is a shade long in the loin. He has good bone and feet, good angulation behind, a little straighter in front. In nice coat and condition for his age, would like to have seen better balance on the move. Best Veteran Dog. Minor Puppy Dog (2,1) 1. Knott’s, Zuni Someone U Loved Fallcat, 8 months old nicely marked Blue Merle, nice size for his age. He has a balanced head, good reach of neck, tends to roach his back in stance. Holds a better shape on the move and he is very steady for his age, still a little loose in front coming towards. Puppy Dog (1) 1. Chou’s, Airplanes Voucher Player, 9 months old Black Tri, very pleasing type. Nicely balanced head with a nice eye. Good flow from the neck into an excellent topline, excellent bone and feet, excellent body proportions. Nicely handled, can improve a little on the move coming and going. Best Puppy Dog. Junior Dog (No Entries) Post Graduate Dog ( No Entries) Limit Dog (4,2) 1. Jarram & Whittingham’s, Chalksville Strike A Deal with Kashaella, 2 years old Black Tri, very nicely handled and presented in excellent condition. Good head proportions, would like a little more volume to the muzzle. He has a nice reach of neck, slightly sloping topline in stance. Good bone and feet, nicely angulated in the rear, his movement was good coming and going, could just have a little more balance in his side gait, but a young dog still maturing. 2.Downes’, Damani Dream Miramax, 3 years old Red Tri, medium size with a balanced head, would have liked a better flow to his topline. Good bone and feet, angulations are balanced, he could keep a better shape on the move. Open Dog (5) 1. Laroche’s, Shepherds of Paradise Tango Hilarious, 2 years old nicely marked blue merle, presented in excellent coat and condition. He has excellent body proportions, good bone, a little deep in his stop. Nice flow from the neck into the topline, would prefer a shade more strength to the pastern. Movement was good coming and going. Pleased to award him the Dog CC. 2. Bothwell’s, Ch Norcis Slippery Jack, 2 years old Red Merle of excellent type with a very pleasing body shape. He has good body proportions, good bone and feet and is well angulated front and rear. I would have liked a shade more strength to his head, nice reach of neck and good topline which he held on the move. Reserve Dog CC. 3. Wray-Ramsden’s, Caronlea Celtic Fire Starter for Takhisis. Veteran Bitch (1) 1. Roberts’, Ch Magical Love Elvikam, 7 years old Red Tri, lovely size and shape. Feminine head, good neck and topline. She has good bone and feet, could be a touch stronger in pastern. In excellent condition for her age, she has a pleasing side gait, could be a little better coming towards. Best Veteran in Breed.
