Welsh Kennel Club

Breed: Retriever (Flat Coated)

RETRIEVER (FLAT COATED)

I was delighted to be able to finally judge this wonder breed after covid had spoilt the original time frame. Thank you to the committee for inviting me and especially thank you to my stewards today.

I was surprised to see a few exhibits had eaten a few too many meals over the summer months which does spoil the whole outline of the breed.

I must congratulate you all for being able to move and handle dogs for people with a few mobility issues but I am very thankful for this as the ground wasn’t sympathetic to our knees. But I should be saying well done to the dogs as they are not fazed at all when swapping handlers happen.

Thank you once again for the quality of the entry.
