Richmond Hungarian Vizsla

Thank you to Richmond committee for inviting me to judge today. I was delighted with my winners today however I was a little concerned with some of the colour and coat texture of the exhibits presented today. Movement on the whole was good and the exhibits managed to cope well with the ground as one can only call it very undulating.

Class 1316 VD (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 2183 KIELY, Ms M Gunfield Phanto, pleasing type displaying a well made body and strong quarters which he used well on the move. A little strong in head for me today but still a good example of the breed.

Class 1317 MPD (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 2201 KEENE, Ms Abi Abmazzi Felix As this was his second time of being shown today, he and his handler did really well. The conditions and undulating ring didn’t make it easy for them today, however he displays a lot of promise for both of them. Very pleasing youngster. Enjoy showing him in the future.

Class 1318 PD (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 2170 CHALLIS, Mr S & CHALLIS, Mrs K M Vizslanya Domenkos, A typical puppy at a this age with such varied stages of growth. Really impressed with his head today so well balanced. His movement today was both graceful and elegant. Best puppy dog.

2nd: 2200 KEENE, Ms Abi Abmazzi Dedo repeat. And much better with handler in the class.

Class 1319 JD (4 Entries) Abs: 1 Top quality class of very impressive juniors.

1st: 2190 MILES, Ms Emily & WATKINS, Ms Tereza Kincsem Break Every Rule, A wonderful impressive youngster displaying all the qualities of top class male. From his well balanced head, strong clean neck and shoulders being well laid back, his body shape is true being level back and good strong short couplings. He is so well balanced in body and legs and moved true covering the ground well display reach and drive which displayed his shoulders and quarters really well. A pleasure to watch his profile movement, delighted to award him the DCC today. I wish him well for the future.

2nd: 2198 SENIOR, Miss H Oakswarren Feel The Heat At Alaszdale (a.i.) to say I preferred winner today is a not detracting anything from the quality of this dog today. Pleasing neck and shoulders, good body and so well balanced. Again this dog should in my opinion have a bright future.

3rd: 2180 HARPER, Mr J P & HARPER, MRS E J Pitswarren Jambo, sadly he didn’t appear in the novice class, but I was very pleased with him, taller than the others in class but a lot to like about him.

1st: 2199 SENIOR, Miss H Nemzet Kincse Ipa Of Alaszdale (imp Hun) he certainly gave his handler a hard time bless him which I suspect wasn’t what his handler was saying. However having said that when he settled he was certainly impressive. He moved with great drive covering the ground well as the ground didn’t actually bother him at all. He just jumped over the ruts.

2nd: 2173 CURZON-PRICE, Mrs Grace & CURZON-PRICE, Mr Damian Kentwone Dreamer A lot to like about this youngster his head is so well balanced displaying a lean and noble head and expression. Pleasing in shoulders and moved well.

3rd: 2170 CHALLIS, Mr S & CHALLIS, Mrs K M Vizslanya Domenkos

1st: 2205 WARNES, Miss Debbie Debian Deerhunter Jw He won the class today on his movement. Good neck and shoulders and pleasing body. A lot to like about him today.

2nd: 2210 ZAFAR, Miss Adela Avar Hunter Danube Slovakia, preferred winner in head today, good neck and pleasing shoulders good strong level back and moved well just a little wide in front today.

3rd: 2184 KUBIKOVA, Ms Monika Darwin Gurdau (imp Cze)

1st: 2206 WATSON, Mr P Sh Ch Oakswarren Inferno, Really pleasing shape and outline, top-class quality dog his head is classic in shape, his expression is clearly displayed in his eye shape and colour. Today he needed more covering in body however a lovely dog moved well.

2nd: 2189 MILES, Ms Emily Sh Ch Layways Van Winkle JW, another top-class dog of great quality, he flowed from head to tail and moved well covering the ground with ease.

3rd: 2168 CHALLIS, Mr S & CHALLIS, Mrs K M Vizslanya Aragonia JW ShCEx OSW

Class 1325 SBD (3 Entries) Abs: 0, I wish the 3 owners and handlers of these dogs all the best for the future and enjoy showing your dogs. The class was difficult with each exhibit not helping with lack of cooperation with the handlers

1st: 2186 LAYTON, Mr S Sh Ch Layways Lana Del Rey, my notes say WOW, what a quality bitch she is, displaying all the qualities required from a Hungarian Vizsla, Her head is so well balanced and full of quality, her eyes almost talk to you. Her body is so lovely, level back and short couplings. Moved so well she really pushed hard today for the BCC. Delighted however to award her the RBCC and best veteran, thrilled to see later in the day she won the gundog veteran group and ultimately reserve Best Veteran in show.

2nd: 2203 WALLINGTON, Miss S Sh Ch Int Multi Ch Nicael Blue Diamond Among Ohana, longer cast bitch than winner today, however I was delighted to she her move and she was presented in fabulous condition.

1st: 2194 PRIESTLEY, Ms Diane Silvestre Endless Love At Eltrym,Just 7 months old, a lot to like about her. She displayed a true vizsla character. Moved well .

2nd: 2187 LAYTON, Mr S Layways Dua Lipa, a little longer cast than winner today but one that Im sure will go far in her show career. Best of luck to both of them for the future.

1st: 2192 PARKER, Miss Victoria & GIST, Mr Jeremy Glenbrows Rouge, Love her overall outline, type and balance, she moved well covering the ground well. Her head is at the in between stage of growth. Pleased to award her Best puppy in breed today.

2nd: 2179 GREGORY, Mrs Tanya Sevensden Autumnal Gold, rangier than winner today, nothing exaggerated in any department. Her head is classic

1st: 2181 HARPER, Mr J P & HARPER, MRS E J Pitswarren Jiko, she certainly commanded attention as she came in the ring, she is so aristocratic in her attitude. Her shape and overall outline is so full of quality. Her head and expression are all made by the addition to her chiselling under eyes displaying quality. She moved so well and true.

2nd: 2172 CURZON-PRICE, Mrs Grace & CURZON-PRICE, Mr Damian Parcroft Destiny A little unsure of her surroundings today but a pleasing quality bitch.

1st: 2166 BALL, Miss Geninne Listerlo Good As Gold, stood alone in the class but a top quality bitch. Pleasing type, particularly liked to see her footfall when viewed in profile.

2nd: 2163 ANSTEE, Miss Clare Michelle Sheepcothill Lilo, Pleasing shape and overall outline, moved well.

1st: 2165 BAILIFF, Mrs J Oroshaza Be Be At Cazadorado JW, a bitch with great substance and quality. Love her head neck and shoulders good level back and short couplings. Moved true both for and afte.

2nd: 2202 UPTON, Mr G Vizslanya Mafila To Tragus, quite different than other today, she is so elegant in her appearance her head is so well balanced and she moved effortlessly around the ring.

1st: 2188 LEGG, Miss K M & SCOTT, Mr Alex Sh Ch Oakswarren Pure Magic Cw24 (ai) ShCEx, Wow in my opinion she is everything that is asked for in a vizsla, her body is so well balanced, she stands on good legs being so powerful and so well-muscled without being overdone. She displays no exaggeration at all. Her head well I fell for it, she is exactly what the standards asks for skull a little longer than muzzle which is square totally finished off with finish to her lips. Her movement is a pleasure to watch. Congratulations to her owners and of course her breeder for breeding a top quality bitch and not forgetting the quality of dogs before her. Delighted to award her the BCC and BOB and thrilled to see her go group 4 later in the day.
