I would like to thank the society for great hospitality and a well organised show. Thank you exhibitors for allowing me the privilege of judging your exhibits today. This is a breed I have watched for many years and absolutely love them. Today was my first time awarding cc’s in this breed and thrilled me with the quality. One negative some of the coats felt a little soft today but I put that down to changing coat. But the positive is the quality and fronts are wow. Thrilled to see almost all of my winners being related in one way or another.

Good head, being broad and round, good strong neck, strong powerful shoulders. Moved free and effortless around the ring today. Best of luck for the future.

2ND 3392 - Riptide Gentlemens Relish (Mr R & Mrs S Playle & Thomas) This youngster needs a little more time to come together. He displayed many of the attributes required by the breed. Best of luck for the future.

1ST 3371 - Pixiesrock Mr Tumnus by Bleyos JW (Mr G & Mrs T Boyles) a well built 2 year old male, showing strength. I loved his head and expression. He had the best of front and good strong shoulders. Moved true displaying very little effort. Today I felt his coat was a little soft but I suspected he was changing coats. Pleased to award him RDCC best of luck with him.

2ND 3385 - Longmeadow Barnegat Bay's Surfer at Penrose (Imp Usa) (Mrs J Morris) For breed type I loved this dog, his outline displays the breed in true form. He does need a little more time to develop after which in my opinion he will certainly challenge the others.

1ST 3380 - Sh Ch Arnac Bay Huron at Bergelle JW (Miss M V & Mr J & Mr J Mahon & Hunns & Newton) Wow my notes say, He presents an absolute wonderful picture of the breed. He is so full of breed type. I personally fell in love with his head broad and round, the correct amount of stop the best of finishes to his muzzle. Strong neck and clean powerful shoulders and true front. Great body and his quarters are so strong which he put to full use when on the move. I was delighted to award him the DCC and BOB.

2ND 3372 - Glaneils Count On Me (Mr S A & Mrs C L Broomfield) A dog with a lot to like about him, from his good head to wonderful strong quarters. He moved really well displaying the required strong powerful movement.

3RD 3396 - Chesepi Waco (Mr D N Rigby)

I just think these 2 veterans decided it was best to enjoy themselves in the sunshine. Both looked good in outline and head. They both moved really well. In my personal opinion a slow maturing dog especially in this breed 7 years of age is so young for them to be in veteran. But delighted to have the opportunity to judge them

1ST 3387 - Penrose Victrix Ludorum (Mrs J Morris) What a stunning puppy, so correct in all departments. I loved her head, neck and shoulders, true front and good strong body. She moved so soundly and true. Delighted to award her BPIB at just over 6 months I hope to watch her future show career. I noticed she is sired by my 2nd in limit whom I liked very much.

2ND 3398 - Oakmarsh Little Acorn (Miss K Watts) Smaller in size and substance but still a lovely puppy bitch. Best of luck with both these youngsters.

1ST 3383 - Arnac Bay Jellicoe (C & J Mayhew & Middleton) At 13 months of I just loved her. Her head is classic, her neck and shoulders are so good and true. Body is strong with excellent depth strong back and the best of quarters. Im not surprised I liked so much when looking at her breeding later I she is sired by dog cc winner today. I have to make a comment of the fronts of this breed today they are so true and such a pleasure to see. Delighted to award her RBCC today. Best of luck going forward however I don’t think she will need it.

1ST 3374 - Glaneils Don’t Worry Be Happy (Mrs C & Mr S & Mrs M & Mr J Broomfield & Broomfield & Mahon-Hunns & Newton) presents a good overall outline and moved very well especially in profile. Good top line and finish to coat.

2ND 3376 - Pixiesrock Queen of Hearts at Elwistone (Miss J & Mr D Coppin & Davies-Jones) very much changing coat today so texture wasn’t quite as I would like it. However a very pleasing bitch in overall conformation. Moved soundly.

Littermates winning both ccs today. She is so sound to go over, her quality shines out. She is very much a bitch but yet so full of substance and quality. Excellent ribs and strong quarters, when she moved so true both for and aft. I was so impressed with her. Thank you.

2ND 3397 - Oakmarsh Freedom Sgwc (Miss K Watts) This lady is new to showing and I hope her experience today allows and encourages her to continue. The bitch is so well put together, she moved so well display power and drive.

1ST 3375 - Dallandor Jocasta (Miss J & Mr D Coppin & Davies-Jones) I particular noted her footfall when moving especially in profile. She is so positive. She display everything that the standard requires so full of quality.

2ND 3386 - Penrose I Dream A Dream (Mrs J Morris) heavier bitch than winner which by no means takes anything away for her qualities. I loved her head and outline. Today I preferred the winner in movement.

3RD 3391 - Arnac Bay Grebe with Riptide (Mr R & Mrs S Playle & Thomas)
