German Shorthaired Pointer Association

Breed: Breed Club Open Show
GSPA Open Show - 1 April 2024 Thank you to the committee of the GSP association for bringing forward my appointment for their open show due to Linda Walker unfortunately being poorly and unable to fulfil her appointment. I wish her a speedy recovery. Heads, movement and temperament all very good, with only one young dog having a grumble while being gone over. Toplines will become a problem if breeders don’t start addressing the roaching or sloping, both which are incorrect. Thank you to both my very efficient stewards who made my day run very smoothly. Thank you also to the exhibitors for still bringing their dogs under me even although they had entered under Linda. I was spoilt for choice. One small incident which I feel I should mention. An exhibitor who was obviously upset with their placing, walked out the ring before the judges book had been completed. Very disappointing and totally unacceptable behaviour.
