BOLOGNESE

PD (1)

1st WHATELEY’S Arkadian Alfredo Ferrari. Stood alone but a handsome, amiable youngster who impressed at nine months. Well schooled and happy to show off his good points. Scored for size with neat, compact body. Desired flat skull with well positioned ears and the correct ratio of nose to stop and stop to occiput that gave balance. Eyes round and dark with good pigment also seen in nose and pads. Felt good to go over with neck, shoulders, topline and tailset all blending. Good ribs. Presented in pristine white coat. A stylish lad on the move. Nice going away just needs to mature and develop in front action. Loads of potential BEST PUPPY DOG & BEST PUPPY IN BREED

JD (2) Two smart juniors … I felt neither giving their best today

1st MULLIGAN’S Donocielo Mattia Shapely youngster of good size and substance. Nice looking with lots of appeal in head and eyes. Dense pigmentation that looked good against the pure white of his flocked coat. Happy enough on the table and his angles were good and topline firm but seemed a bit unsettled on the move and dropped his tail from time to time. Only allowed me glimpses of his capabilities.

2nd MORGAN-STANLEY’S Little White Wonder Eskimo Of Golbourne I liked this boy but he didn’t want to cooperate on the move today. Handsome head with correct breed characteristics combining to give a lovely expression. Neatly made with compact body shape covered in plenty of lush flocked coat. He was alert and keen …but had his own agenda.

LD (1)

1st LOVELL & THATCHER’S Devonia's Anzio Good looking 2 year old who was eye catching and looked good in his profuse white coat. Lovely expression with good eyes and black nose. Carried his head proudly with firm topline and tidy tail. Scored in rear action with parallel movement just needed steadying in front. Lots of glamour. Super size. RESERVE BEST DOG

OD (4) A nice class

1st MULLIGAN’S Donocielo Michelangelo 3 year old presented in wonderful white coat who caught my attention on first walk around and continued to impress throughout the class. Didn’t put a foot wrong and had all the ingredients I was looking for. Handsome head with alert expression held in large, dark, round eyes. Good width to skull which had correct ratio to muzzle. Scissor bite. Dense pigmentation in nose, eye rims and pads. Nice to handle with adequate neck, well laid shoulders, firm topline and short loin. Moving presented no problem and looked good on his up and down and in profile. Tail set and carriage did not disappoint. Engaging personality who well deserved BEST DOG & BEST OF BREED.

2nd THATCHER’S Kobanyai Pelyhes Odin with Devonia (Imp) Handsome boy a tad taller than winner. Flat broad skull. Defined stop. Eyes correct for shape and colour. Correct dentition. Dense pigment. Well off for coat. Came into his own on the move and his sound steady movement impressed.

3rd WHATELEY’S Lyckalotte Enzo Ferrari at Arkadian

Res WALKER’S Stuart Little Prince George's Of the Black Orchid

PB (2). MORGAN- STANLEY’S Tumbril Twit Twoo It's Golbourne Beautifully presented baby of 6 months who scored for size, compact body and lovely nature. Facial features appealed with round, dark eyes, broad skull and animated expression. Coat coming in nicely. A sweet personality who was wilful but owner successfully channelled her exuberance and she walked with confidence. Future looks bright. BEST PUPPY BITCH

2nd TOWER’S Enjanicka Rock Diva I felt for the owner as her puppy was being a proper little madam. Only 6 months and has many virtues. Felt good on the table with parts all fitting nicely together. Lovely type with the promise of a quality coat. I liked what I saw and she will have better days once she decides to play ball. Diva by name and diva by nature today.

JB (1)

1st MULLIGAN’S Donocielo Maddalana Sired by the Best of Breed. Lovely type and although a bit unsure to begin with she gained composure and confidence as the class progressed. Very feminine with sweet face and expression. Broad skull with animated, dark eyes. Spot on for size and squareness. Good pigment and correct teeth. Presented in first class condition and coat was squeaky clean and nice to the touch. Should continue to do well, just needs more self-belief

PGB (2) Quite a hard class as both appealed for different reasons.

1st WALKER’S Aemilia's Elizabeth Friendly girl with fetching face features. Decent mover and displayed a balanced outline both standing and on the move. More coat than 2.

2nd WHATELEY’S Lyckalotte Holly at Arkadian Sweet natured girl not long out of Junior. Feminine in outlook and nicely pigmented. Immaculately presented but not in her best coat and preferred the outline of winner.

LB (2)

1st TOWERS’ Enjanicka Evening Emerald Loved the mouth-watering expression on this 3 year old and I see she shares the same mother as my Open winner. Two lovely girls that gave me a dilemma as both appealed greatly. Pure white flocked coat complimented by super black pigmentation throughout. Square shape. Neck set well into sloping shoulders leading into a firm topline and decent tail set. One to be proud of. RESERVE BEST BITCH

2nd WHATELEY’S Belstown Beloved Amee at Arkadian Lots to like about this pretty girl. Appealed for size and is well put together allowing her freedom of movement. Excellent pigment. Not making the most of herself whereas the winner was in sparkling form. I just wanted her to give me a bit more

OB (2) 1ab

1st TOWERS’ Enjanicka Toscana Mio Caro Another nice one from this breeder. At 6 years holding her age well and presented in fine fettle. Has much to commend and fitted well into my lineup. Looked good in her quality flocked coat. Appealed for size, dark eyes, sweet expression, balanced outline and black pads. Looked good on the move with level topline and tidy tail carriage.

VB (1)

1st MULLIGAN’S Donocielo Seraphina 10 year old matriarch to a dynasty of lovely Bolognese shown here today. Dam of Best of Breed and grand dam of two other winners. Deserving respect as she has clearly passed on her excellent breed traits. Such a pretty girl full of glamour in her well conditioned flocked white coat. Large dark eyes set in a typical. head. Size and substance spot on and she stepped out with ease. Level topline with good parallel movement. Full of confidence…looked good and she knew it. Beggars belief that she is a decade old. BEST BITCH & BEST VETERAN.
