Saturday 30th November 2024

Judge: Mea Kendall

Thank you to the officers and committee for asking me to stand in as the invited judges had to stay home. I would also like to thank every exhibitor who accepted my decisions with good grace. I have thought long and hard about putting together a pre able to my critique and I feel a few things need to be highlighted, I have lived with Cavaliers since the day I was born (58 years) and oh how the breed has changed. Please remember you can not make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. The bitches we have today are the foundation of the future. Please watch out for long and low dogs. We are Cavaliers not Dandi Dimots. We are a toy dog you are meant to be able to pick them up with one arm, watch the size. On a good point, eyes are not bad at all and mouths are definitely getting better.
