Puppy Dog (6 Entries) Abs: 1

What a lovely crop of puppies to start the day off. All at different growths, but should serve the breed well in the future.

1st: BROWN, Miss Lydia Graythor Captain Hook – 12 mth old lovely shape & size, pleasing head, with good expression, would like a touch more oval shaped eye, but this could change as head develops, good ear set, correct front & nice rear angles, good ribbing, holding a good topline and tail set, moved well

2nd: COWPER, Mrs J E & BINGHAM, Mrs Gill Kamgaard Kross The Sea at Rothenborg – 6 mth old rangier male, still very much a baby but lovely head & eye, needs to develop in front, but plenty of time for this to happen, nice rear angulation, good ribbing and loin, touch bum high at the moment, but still moved well.

3rd: MIDDLETON, Mr Mrs Brian And Linda GRAYTHOR BROADWAY

2nd: CUSS, Mr Neal Norvin Orkla – a more compact dog, touch narrower on head than 1, but still pleasing with good expression, pleasing angles on front, could just be a touch tighter, good deep chest though, nice rear angulation, holding a good topline, pleasing on the move.

Puppy Bitch (3 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: MIDDLETON, Mr Mrs Brian and Linda Kamgaard Kadence at Graythor – 6 mth old baby, I actually put “scrummy”! Lovely balance overall, nice bone for age, good head proportions with lovely eye & expression, good width on skull, good neck going into lovely shoulders, nice width for age, good ribbing & loin, holding a good topline and tail set, lovely rear, did have a tendency to pace, but was correct on the up and down, unfortunate to meet the more mature puppy in the challenge for BP.

2nd: MCMAHON, Mrs S Seasara Infinity – 8 mth old bigger bitch, and head not quite the definition of 1, pleasing eye & expression, needs to grow into ears, her structure is all in place, has good ribbing & loin, just needs to grow into it all. Pleasing on the move.

Junior Bitch (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: MAUN, Mrs T Bowerhinton Blackbird – 16 mth old, stood alone but still stood out, lovely young girl, so well balanced, a pleasure to go over, strong neck, lovely shoulder placement with good front, nice width of front, ribbing & loin good, holding a good topline and tail set, lovely rear angulation, and her movement was spot on, probably will mature in head a touch more, but pleased to award her the CC.

Open Bitch (7 Entries) Abs: 3

1st: SIMMONDS, Ms. Sally & MOTT, Ms Margaret Am Ch Kamgaard Klementina – 3 yr old lovely overall size & profile, nice head proportions, perhaps a touch heavy in stop for a bitch, but still has a kind expression, good eye shape, nice shaped skull and ear set, good neck, nice front assembly with good width, good ribbing & loin, holding a good topline and tail set. Moved well. Unfortunate to come against the Junior Bitch today and had to settle for the RCC.
