 Veteran Dog 2:0

1st - Talkaccatur Huritt (Miss D Sambrook)

10 year male in great condition for his age and he appeared to take it all in his stride for a veteran, masculine dog with a lovely square shaped head in proportion with his body, dark round eyes set wide apart giving off a lovely expression, ears carried erect, strong slightly arched neck onto straight front with ample bone, nicely bodied up throughout onto well let down hocks and good quarters, looked lovely in profile. moved out steady not letting his handler down. Pleased to award him Best Veteran in Breed.

2nd Wynele Trooping The Colour (Mr A & Mrs K Guy) 8 year didn’t move quite as well as 1, another lovely veteran for his age, square head, with good width of muzzle, skull broad and free from wrinkle, correct dark eyes, ears set on high and erect, nicely muscled neck set onto correct shoulders, and straight front, feet not quite as tight as 1, nicely muscled rear quarters, correct tail set. In excellent condition for his age,

Minor Puppy Dog 5:1

1st - Wildax The Real Mccoy (Miss E Rankin)

This 6 mth puppy I feel will have a great show career ahead of him, he ticked all the boxes for me, he has the most beautiful typical square head which is perfectly in balance with his short compactly built body, his muzzle is well padded with a good under jaw and great dentition, he has the darkest of round eyes giving off the most appealing mischievous expression, correctly placed small ears, good length of neck onto good lay back of shoulders and firm top line, excellent front with the tightest of feet, ample bone, strong in body and rear quarters, correct tail set, once he settled he moved out steady not letting his handler down. I will watch his show career with interest. Pleased to award him BPD BPIB

2nd Kiarzo Side by Side (Mrs S F Harkins)

Another promising 7mth eye catching puppy who has the most beautiful head but not the maturity of 1, dark round eyes set apart, giving off the sweetest expression, skull square, muzzle short, good dentition, unfortunately he wasn’t happy using his ears today I’m sure as he matures this will improve, he has a lovely neck of moderate length onto good lay of shoulders, straight front, pasterns and feet to tighten as he matures, nicely bodied up for his age, coat fine in texture and in great condition, good rear angles, correct tail set, another youngster to watch out for in the future, these two pups could change places on another day.

3rd - Rosparquier's Late Edition (R W Rostron-Parker)

Puppy Dog 1:0

1st - Dalenamag King of Diamonds (Mrs M Bundy) 6mth very smart puppy who has the most exquisite head viewed from all angles for his age, skull square and flat free from wrinkle , short muzzle with just enough padding, correct round eyes, small well placed ears, good length of neck onto correct shoulders and straight front, slightly down on pasterns which can be expected at this age, correct top line and tail set, coat in lovely condition, nicely angulated rear quarters with nothing overdone, overall balanced throughout and in lovely condition, still very much a baby but a promising young puppy.

Junior Dog 2:0

1st Glenauld American Sniper (Misses L & S Mair)

17 mth male who oozes personality and quality, he has the most beautiful head with nothing overdone, square head of great depth and width with a well padded muzzle, jaw broad and square, good dentition, skull flat and free from wrinkle, eyes dark round correctly set apart, I loved his typical boston terrier expression, ears neat and carried erect, strong muscular neck onto correct lay back of shoulders with the straightest of fronts, ample bone and neat feet, excellent compact body good spring of rib with a level top line, good tail set, good turn of stifle with well let down hocks , thighs well-muscled, this youngster is in great hard condition and looked stunning in profile, he didn’t let is handler down giving his all on the move, pleased to award him RDCC .

2nd Dalenamag Ace of Spades (Ms M Jones)

17 mth quality male but not as much of him in the head and muzzle as 1 although nicely proportioned with a good mouth, dark round eyes, neatly set ears, in proportion very nicely balanced throughout, straight front, good bone, tight feet, nicely bodied up for his age, tail set low, good rear quarters with well let down hocks, once he settled moved ok .

Yearling Dog 1:0

1st- Sonduriya Running On Empty (Mrs D M Crook)

19mth stood alone who unfortunately gave his handler a hard time, but once he settled he looked lovely on the move. Overall nicely put together and in lovely condition, not quite the head piece and masculinity of my previous class winners but hiseyes were dark eyes with  a kind expression, ears correctly set, muscular neck onto straight front and evident fore chest, correct topline, nicely angulated rear quarters, correct tail set.

Post Graduate Dog 2:0

1st Wildax Rowendale Stan Francisco (Miss M A & Miss S Wildman & Davis)

14 mth more upstanding male than 2 but cleaner in outline, he has a beautiful head of correct proportions, flat skull free from wrinkle, good width of muzzle and correct dentition ,correctly set round eyes with a pleasing expression , ears set neatly and erect, strong muscular neck of good length, straight front onto strong pasterns and neat feet, ample bone, correct topline, rear quarters and tail set, moved out steady and true for his handler

15 mth overall a very nice male but unfortunately he let his handler down giving her a hard time on the move, nicely balanced male throughout with a pleasing head piece, dark eyes, neat correct ears ,nicely padded muzzle, muscular neck of moderate length, straight front, not quite as strong on pasterns as 1, nicely muscled rear quarters and correct tail set.

Limit Dog 2:1

1st - Dalenamag Black Lotus (Ms M Jones)

Such a shame but this 2 ½ year old male who stood alone was just not interested today, he just didn’t have that lively alert expression, which is such a shame because he has a lovely head viewed from all angles, his eyes are dark and his ears correctly set, good width of nicely padded muzzle, good dentition, muscular neck onto correct shoulders and straight front, slightly down on pasterns, correct topline and good spring of rib, maybe just a tad overweight but overall looked lovely in profile.

Open Dog 4:2

1st Ch Wildax The Real Thing (Miss E Rankin) I was delighted to have the opportunity to go over this male for the first time, and he certainly didn’t disappoint, you have to go over this young dog to appreciate how impressive he is. He is in the most pristine hard condition, and has the most fabulous correctly balanced clean head which exemplifies the breed standard, his eyes are round and dark giving off a keen exquisite expression, ears neat and set correctly, muscular neck onto correct shoulders down to the straightest of fronts and tightest of feet, he has the most outstanding body and looks stunning in outline, great spring of rib, strong muscular rear quarters correctly let down hocks and correct tail set, this boston terrier is one that I really would like to take home with me and he certainly didn’t let his owner down on the move and for the challenge. I was delighted to award him a much deserved DCC and BOB. I was also pleased to see him short listed in the group.

2nd Esangee Your My Star (Miss D Sambrook)

Another nice male but unfortunately when unsettled he roaches which loses him his top line which spoils his overall outline in profile. Well presented , masculine head with good width of muzzle, dark round eyes, ears small fine and carried erect , arched neck of fair length onto straight front, ample bone, neat feet, nicely bodied up with good spring of rib and firm topline, correct tail set, strong well muscled rear quarters, well let down hocks, moved ok.

Veteran Bitch 1:0

1st Murrayclan Mary Queen of Scots (Mrs M Bundy)

10 year veteran who I don’t think was very amused today, however overall for her age she was in great condition, a little grey around the muzzle as you would expect but had a lovely head piece, nicely balanced throughout with a nicely padded muzzle, correct dark round eyes, ears neatly set ears, good width of skull with no evidence of wrinkle, nice bone and front assembly, correct topline and good rear quarters for her age moved out steady.
