PYRENEAN MOUNTAIN DOG

PG 1 & BOB Coles’ Gillandant Jasmine. Presented in beautiful condition, super head and ears, strong muzzle which was slightly tapering, dark eye colour, tight fitting eyelids, excellent pigmentation on eye rims and nose, strong neck set on well into laid back shoulders, straight forelegs, double dew claws on rear pasterns, solid mover, really positive going away and coming towards. 2 Low’s Aurvandill Freya’s Saga. Of excellent size and with just enough bone, well placed eyes giving a soft expression, black pigmentation on nose and eye rims, enough width to chest, tight well padded feet, deep chest, a little soft in topline, tail was long and well covered in coat, just carrying a little too much weight over the ribs.

DALMATIANS

A super class to start with and I appreciated all three quality bitches with all three showing well with many virtues. J 1 Quayle’s Cubalibre Star Attraction. Aptly named quality liver girl of lighter spotting, medium sized with plenty of bone, really attractive head with broad skull, medium stop and correct length of muzzle, broken ears, chest is deep and ribs extend well back, strong in the loin and good turn of hock, tail is set off the back and carried in a pleasing position, she excels on the move where she has a long economical stride and tracking up correctly on the out and back. 2 Hurst’s Dvojica Firefly for Finnidal. I’ve admired this black spotted bitch ringside for some time and it was a real pleasure to get my hands on her, she was in rock hard condition, the best dog for muscle condition on the day, and she has powerful side movement with excellent reach and drive combined with nice tail carriage, her head is divine with such an attractive expression framed with dark but broken well set ears, just not as tidy on the out and back as 1. 3 Robbins & Hensman’s Salvadorado Jalapeno Girl At Palouse.

G 1 & BOB Quayle’s Cubalibre Wishing Star. Super quality liver b who is well decorated with spots all over, has the most beautiful outline in side profile and shows herself off so well, with an ever wagging tail, her head is balanced with ears well placed and well-shaped eyes set well apart, her muzzle is strong with good underjaw, straight forelegs, feet were compact, her shoulder placement is well set and with excellent return of upper arm, chest is deep, strong topline which she holds on the move, she has strong well angulated rear quarters and set on of tail is excellent, her movement is textbook, with long strides and good propulsion from the rear, loved her. 2 Tingey’s Dallyador White Magnolia JW. Another quality liver b, super feminine, with excellent bone and in top condition, lighter marked spots which are fairly evenly well distributed, she holds a very good firm back, strong loin, well angulated rear, she moves at one with her handler with a pleasing tail carriage, just not the extension of 1 in profile on the move. 3 Symphorien’s Kalokairies Iggy Azalea at Rienmour.

PG 1 C Wishing Star.

O 1 & BOS Moate’s Sundowndal Trijonkuro. Smaller sized with big black dense spots, so well muscled and such a powerful mover, can imagine him running behind a carriage and never tiring, his head is balanced, slightly rounded and broad giving a kind and alert expression, great width to his front with good fill, forelegs are straight and standing on strong compact feet, chest reaches to elbow, good ribbing, firm back, well-made rear quarters, his tail never stops which is lovely to see and an accurate mover in all directions. 2 Tingey’s Dallyador Lockdown Legend. A taller upstanding liver spotted male who was in top condition, a very pleasing head of good proportions, great length of neck into a well laid back shoulder, would like a shade more length of upper arm, holds a very firm topline in the stand, well bent stifle, excellent tail set, shown and handled to perfection by his excellent handler. 3 Quayle’s Cubalibre On One.
