1. Rankin’s WILDAX THE REAL MCCOY. 10 month old well marked boy developing nicely. Top of skull flat, overall square head with a classic abrupt brow and defined stop. Pleasant dark eye in proportion to head. Moderately short muzzle and good clean mouth. Ears carried erect throughout although had the tendency to drop slightly when losing his focus. Particularly liked his beautifully arched neck which neatly set into correct lay back of shoulders. Straight forequarters with strong pasterns leading to lovely compact feet. Well muscled and presented in excellent condition throughout. Although moved slightly close behind, he moved with satisfying determination around the ring today. PD

2. Harrison & Stoner’s VICKVALLEY THE BIG DILL AT HONEYDUKES. Lovely raw compact 7 month old dog with a beautiful expression and markings. Alert and full of confidence. Head developing well with a good dark eye set correctly on outside corners of skull and well defined stop. Would prefer flatter cheeks to enhance the squareness of this boys beautiful head which should come in time. Muzzle short and in proportion to head. Jaw is developing nicely, complete with neat flews. Pleasant depth of chest and spring of ribs leading to a short strong loin and correct set on of tail. Nice tuck up of flank. Pleasing turn of stifle. Would prefer tighter feet which should come with maturity. Easily lost focus which was forgiven but understandably made this bright lad unsteady on the move. Looking forward to watching this boy develop.

1. Bundy’s DALENAMAG KING OF CLUBS. This young dog has the sweetest kind expression. Head in proportion to body with nice width of muzzle although would prefer a little more depth to muzzle. Lovely abrupt brow and well defined stop. Super dark eye set square in skull. Good ear which he used well. Neck a little cobby but could be due to the cold temperature. Good width of chest and compact feet with well arched toes. Would prefer stronger pasterns. Adequate top line leading to short loins and a slight curve of rump to set on of tail. Moderate tuck up. Pleasing hindquarter angulation and hocks well let down which enabled this boy to flow around the rind effortlessly.

1. Rankin’s CH WILDAX THE REAL THING. This 5 year old masculine dog certainly demands you look at him with his striking markings and pristine condition. Head in proportion to body. Top of skull flat and absent of wrinkles. Superb abrupt brow and well defined stop. Both eyes and ears alert throughout. Muzzle square with good dentition. Fantastic to discover adequate open nostrils and well defined line between. Pleasing neck attractively arched and leading to good lay back of shoulders. Sufficient depth of body and super width of chest encompassing well sprung ribs. Front straight leading to strong pasterns and compact feet. Would prefer a slightly more level topline when static but he corrects on the move. Satisfying hindquarter angulation with well let down hocks. Strength is shown throughout with superb muscle and power as he moves sure-footed around the ring. BD

2. Harrison & Stoner’s CH EAIRYCOR CELTIC MANXSPIRIT. 7 year old dog which has so much to give and pushed number one hard today. Beautifully compact dog with an exquisite expression demonstrating intelligence and kindness. Skull appeared square and flat between well set ears which he used well. Abrupt brow complete with well defined stop. Muzzle in proportion to head with lovely broad jaw and clean flews. Dark eyes set correctly and sufficient cushioning. Adequate neck smartly set into shoulders. Straight front although would prefer stronger pasterns and tighter feet. Well sprung ribs carried nicely back to short loin and correct tail set. Moderate hindquarter angulation and hocks well let down. Although moved holding his head gracefully, he just seemed a little tense today which could be due to the incredibly low temperature. Handled beautifully and presented in super condition. RBD
