1. Kennedy’s ANTRIX SUKEY TAWDRY. At just 12 months old, this young bitch caught my eye with her ‘look at me’ attitude. I was not disappointed when I discovered a lovely head developing nice and square. Skull flat on top and free from wrinkles. Ears alert throughout although she had the tendency to relax them occasionally. Classic round dark eye full of expression. Pleasing square muzzle in proportion to head complete with broad square jaw and adequate dentition. Delighted to see open dark nostrils complete with well defined line between. Moderate length of neck leading to good lay back of shoulders. Satisfying straight front complete with strong pasterns and compact feet. Adequate depth to body encompassing well sprung ribs. Would prefer slightly shorter loin. Correct set on of tail. Hindquarters appropriately angulated and strong well let down hocks. Moved with drive, confidence and determination.

2. Schfaild’s VICKVALLEY MISS CHICAGO SOUL. Another lovely exhibit. At just 7 months old, this bitch demonstrates squareness. Skull flat on top and free from wrinkles. Classic abrupt brow and stop well defined. Correctly set large round dark eye in proportion to head. I particularly liked this girl’s heart melting expression which draws you in displaying a high degree of kindness and intelligence so important in the breed. Muzzle developing nicely complete with a broad jaw. Would prefer slightly tighter flews. Adequate neck and front. A little down on her pasterns today. Pleasing topline leading to short loins, correct tail set and well angulated hindquarters. Body exceptionally compact but without appearing chunky. A little distracted whilst moving today but handled well to be able to still observe free flowing movement. BP

1. Gardner’s SHIRICYRES MELROSE FOR LABRASTAF. Pretty 2 year old bitch who did not take her girls of her handler. Skull flat on top and free from wrinkles. Although ear set a fraction low, she consistently used her ears well throughout. Dark eye displaying an alert intelligent expression. Well defined stop and good open nostrils. Moderate square muzzle and clean flews. Beautifully up on her pasterns today. Good depth of chest and well sprung ribs travelling well back to short loins. Correct tail set and pleasing hindquarter angulation with well let down hocks. Moved a little unsteady today. Full of eagerness to please her handler.

2. Rees & Scott’s TALKACCATUR MINNEHAHA. Feminine bitch with a beautiful dark eye displaying an alert kind expression. Unfortunately one eye appeared to be recovering from an injury. I particularly liked her fantastic open nostrils with well-defined line. Straight front leading to strong pasterns. Would prefer a somewhat more level topline although had correct curve to rump to set on of tail. Moderate hindquarter angulation leading to straight hocks and compact feet. Moved with determination but was a little close behind today. Smooth short coat in excellent condition.

1. Kennedy’s CH ESANGEE MY SHINING STAR OVER ANTRIX. Striking feminine bitch with an exquisite square head. Skull flat on top complete with lovely flat cheeks. Classic abrupt brow and stop well defined. Good open nostrils. Moderate alert ear and used well throughout. Beautiful round dark eye revealing a kind intelligent expression. Fantastic skull to muzzle balance with a strong broad jaw and good dentition. Strong neck smartly set into sloping shoulders. Straight front and good width of chest. Would prefer slightly tighter feet. Deep ribs, well sprung and carried all the way back to short muscular loins. Pleasing level topline with slight curve to rump finishing with a perfect tail set. Super hindquarter angulation enabling this girl to effortlessly glide around the ring today with rhythm carrying her head gracefully at all times demonstrating style and drive. Well balanced and muscled throughout and presented in immaculate condition. BB BOB

2. Schfaild’s CH VICKVALLEY LOVE AND DESIRE. A lot to like about this girl who pushed one hard today. Head moderately square with good set ears which she used well. Eyes wide and set square in skull. Alert, round and dark displaying a heart melting joyful expression. Enough cushioning and pleasing open nostrils. Nice muzzle and in proportion to head. Straight in bone and superbly up on her strong pasterns today. Good width of chest and short in back. Correct elegant flank which is cut up just marginally. This girl is absolutely compact but does not appear chunky. Satisfying hindquarter angulation finished with a radiant coat. Free flowing movement although she moved a little close behind today. Overall a beautiful balanced bitch who gave her all to her handler. RBB
