KC Good Citizen Scheme Stakes – Hound & Toy

1st: RUTHERFORD, Miss H & RUTHERFORD, Miss Grace & RUTH Ch Potbelli Limited Edition JW OSW, a beautiful Pug who was balanced throughout and in great condition. Excellent head, neat ears, dark eyes and broad skull. Cobby with a muscular neck and short level topline. Super mover, sound in all direction, he looked the part both on stance and on the move.

2nd: PARSONS, Miss H Priorpark Proof In Pudding, a young Rohedsian Ridgeback who just caught my eye for being so together. Feminine throughout with a lovely head, clean with good proportions. Her neck is of good length, strong and leads into a good shoulder and front assembly. Lovely topline with good ridge. On the move she was had the required reach and drive and really came together. Handled so well.

3rd: BARTLEY, Mr Tim & BARTLEY, MRS Deborah Erylan Zeus Roi Des Dieux ShCEx PBGV, a masculine dog with a nice headpiece. Held his topline on the move and had lovely rear angulation. Coat was harsh and presented well.

Res: JONES, Ms J Silvergarth Hyperion, pleasing head with a nice eye and ear set. Unexaggerated whippet. Sound on the move with smooth action.

VHC: HIGGINBOTTOM, Miss Ellen Natalie Ranveli Royal Duke Of Dawnsafon JW, balanced whippet who had a pleasing head and expression. Nice curvy outline. Moved out well.

Class 1570 YKC Hound

1st: Eliza Mason showing Bramalodge Bet On The Blues, A maculine Wire Dachs who caught my eye at every glance. Lovely head and expression, nice front assembly, ribs extend well back, pleasing hindquarters and on the move, he had good ground clearance. Good coat and a look at me attitude.

2nd: Zoe Hudson showing Ch Tokaji Moon Over Miami With Mutoko JW ShCEx OSW a super feminine Basenji who had a fabulous outline both on the stance and on the move. She excelled on the move with a swift and even stride coming from her balanced front and rear assembly.

3rd: Alexis KIRKWOOD-EMERY, Helydon Tartan Talula Jw Mini Wire Dachs, really attractive Mini Wire Dachs, balanced with fabulous movement. Lovely body proportions and presented so well.

Res: Leighton COOPER, Crosscop Im Alwayz Yours At Ballauren, moved well especially in side gait, graceful topline and sound throughout.

VHC: Phoebe ROBERTS, Ruletadax Russia With Love, mini smooth Dachs who had a pleasing overall appearance and held his shape well.

Class 1571 YKC Toy

1st: Olivia GRANTHAM, Deizi Yabba Dabba Doozie At Lake Giants Stylish Bichon who was in great condition, super head with dark pigment and lovely eyes. Well bodied with an arched neck set well. Moved out and really, holding a great outline and appeared to love being a show dog in the ring, a super coat completed the picture.

2nd: Alexis KIRKWOOD - EMERY Bryelis Star A'traction JW (Imp Fin), eye catching profile and standing well. Balanced outline, arched neck with level topline, good rear angles. Nice profile moving action.

3rd: Kara Mason showing Finity Truly Unique. Papillon with lovely light movement, excellent top-line, coat and tail.

Res: Bonnie LLOYD showing Finity Epitome Of Joy, another dainty papillon, she was feminine and moved well with a nice tail plume.

Class 1572 JHA 6-11

1st: Jasper Chorlton – a super smart handler who looked the part in his sharp suit. He handled his PBGV really well, he was patient and kind to her at all times, he really made the most of the big ring to showcase her fabulous movement at just the right pace. He’s a super handler!

2nd: Bonnie Lloyd – such a sweet unassuming polite girl who looked a pretty picture with her very well presented Pap. A considerate handler who really looked after her dainty dog. Just pipped to first place by a more confident handler.

Class 1573 JHA 12-16 – this age range of handlers really know how to pull out all the stops. Such a difficult class of super first-class handlers.

1st: Masie Allenby. This handler is calm, attentive and quietly confident. She really showed her PBGV off to its advantage at all times. She wasn’t over fussy; she focused on her dog and had a polished performance. She looked immaculate in her black suit.

2nd: Eliza Mason, splitting hairs between all these ladies, another with handling skills who would put those in breed classes to shame. She empathetically handled her Wire Dachs, transition from table to floor was perfect, movement, corners and lines spot on too.

3rd: Alexis Kirkwood-Emery, Alexis beautiful raspberry coloured suit off set the colour of her min wire dachs so you could clearly see her smaller dogs outline when she knelt behind. Another foot perfect handler who really got the best from her dog at all times.

Res: Kara Mason – Immaculate outfit with an immaculate Pap made a beautiful combination, however there was much more to Kara than her attire, she was quietly confident and ensured her dogs was in the best position at all times.
