City of Birmingham - Sunday 1st September 2024 – Gundogs

Class 3132 KC Good Citizen Scheme Stakes – Gundog

1st: STOCKTON, Mr & Mrs K & P Sh Ch Riverbrue Alchemist Amidst Kespas JW What an impressive Irish Setter, he was such a showman and couldn’t be overlooked. Effortlessly covered the ground and was an easy winner in this super strong class. He is balanced and sound in body and mind.

2nd: HILL, Mrs Laura Novaforesta In A Nutshell At Wittlebare, a super smart Barbet, level topline on the move and stood. She was in great condition and had a thick rustic natural coat.

3rd: TOPLISS, Mrs Trudy Sh Ch Beresford Lockdown. A balanced ESS with a lovely head and gentle expression. He covered the ground with purpose.

Res: DOUGLAS, Miss Jo & DOUGLAS, Mrs H & DOUGLAS, Mr R Daffydown Dilly Irish Water Spaniel, eye catching Irish Water Spaniel who looked a picture stood and moved so well.

VHC: 5612 FAZENFIELD, Miss Lesley & SMITH, Mr Robert I Owlspoint Askin For Trouble. Masculine Bracco, nice shape and a good stride.

Class 3128 YKC Gundog

1st: JAYAKUMAR, Miss S & RAJENDRAN, Mr Jayakumar Zenevieva Bolder Than Brass (IKC), a beautiful young Golden who had a balanced head with the most appealing eyes and expression. He covered the ground well and looked a picture with his handler Sraeyaa.

2nd: LEVENE, Miss Abi & LEWIS, Mrs R Quensha Remember The Name Valasarch, Leila handled an Irish Setter who’s rich coat covered his toned body. He flowed around the ring and his kind expression finished off his handsome look.

3rd: CLUBB, Mrs Donna & MASON, Mrs Catherine Oroshaza Bumble Beee JW, a lovely outline, balanced head and body with a short level topline.

Res: DARWESH, Mrs Jo & DARWESH, Miss Eliza S Chanderhill Smart Edition For Elizad, a sweet SWD puppy who went so well with Eliza her handler/owner.

VHC: MASON, Mrs Catherine Lynshow Kilda (naf), a well presented happy Cocker who covered the ground well.

Class 3129 JH 6-11

1st: Evelyn Hardy, Evelyn was super smart and her outfit really showed off the outline of her Gordon Setter. She was such a sympathetic and calm handler who listened to all instructions and pipped the others to first place as everything just appeared so natural in the ring.

2nd: Konan Maver, a confident handler who looked very much the part in his sharp suit. He handled his Vizsla wonderfully, making the use of the whole ring to showcase the stride of his dog.

3rd: Karson Maver, Karson is such a kind handler. His cocker spaniel was shown to advantage on the table and the floor.

Res: Emma Crawford, Emma did a great job in the ring and the competition in this class was tough, the others just appeared a little more experienced however Emma is a lovely handler.

Class 3130 JH 12-16

Two super handlers in this ring and difficult to place.

1st: Olivia Cogan, Olivia is a pro, knew exactly what was required and did a wonderful job in the ring with her dog. She covered the whole ring, had lovely lines on the move and always at the correct pace. She was polished and natural.

2nd: Calleigh Hird, another super handler, Calleigh was kind and considerate to her dog. She moved at the correct place with good corners and clean lines. Nothing to really separate these two wonderful handlers.
