Japanese Shiba Inu

Special Beginners Dog/ Bitch

1: GREENWOOD, Mrs Rachael Jarshimar Myer Watashi, red bitch of decent size, won the class on front action. Pleasing head and expression, with typical eye shape. Good tail set and flat in croup.

2: GREENWOOD, Mrs Rachael Jarshimar Baz's Bear, b/t boy of decent proportions. He is good for coat and colour. Just picked his front up a little high on the move.

Dogs

Puppy

1; DUNHILL-HALL, Miss M Vormund Be Startin Somethin, 11 month and already all of a piece. He has a delightful head, exquisite expression and in wonderful coat. True H front has power in the front and a strong topline with well set tail. Moved out with a brisk stride and kept his outline. Title bound. RCC

2: HERNANDEZ, Mrs Irene M & HERNANDEZ, Mr Robert Bearpark Action Stations, 8 months and mature for his age. Balanced in outline in good coat. Moved out well and kept his topline. His expression is good, and he was in super condition.

 3: LOGAN, Mrs V R Miamilady Olaf

Post Grad

1: LOGAN, Mrs V R Amivike's Baloo Bear From Miamilady Lux Jch, celtic, red sesame that won the class on profile action where he had a quick brisk stride yet covered the ground without ease. His head is decent for proportions. And he has a typical shape.

2: WILSON, Mr J Izaiga Anton Black (ba1), b/t whose head shape is very good, and he is well marked. A little out of coat at the moment, but that can be forgiven. Just not the briskness in action of the winner today.

Limit

1: INCE, Mrs Hannah Kagatomisou Koji Masato, red sesame with a foxy expression and true 60/40 balance of outline. Decent topline and well-set tail. Good for front angulation and has the right length of leg. Has angulation behind but would not want anymore.

2: GREENWOOD, Mrs Rachael Jarshimar Baz's Bear

Open

1: DUNHILL-HALL, Miss M Ch Vormund Xmas Bonus, bang on form and in wonderful condition, this male is an outstanding example of the breed and quite possibly the best Shiba I have judged. His head and expression are a delight, he is constructed exceptionally well and his balance on the stack is wonderful. On the move his action is textbook and he eats up the ground but retains a typical brisk action. Handled masterfully. CC & BOB and delighted to see him win the group.

Bitches

Puppy

1: DUNHILL-HALL, Miss M Vormund Jinx Arcane, 8-month-old and a real charmer from her delightful expression to her total disregard for doing what she’s told. She has potential in spades and is beautiful for type and shape. Her balance of outline being breathtaking. Moves out with a really brisk action. I absolutely loved her, and she is another title bound for this very consistent kennel. CC & BP

Limit

1: HERNANDEZ, Mrs Irene M & HERNANDEZ, Mr Robert Bearpark Femme Fatale, a very decent bitch for type and shape. Super head and expression. In excellent coat and balanced in outline. Decent neck into true front, strong topline and well-set tail. Moved out well with a brisk action. RCC

2: GREENWOOD, Mrs Rachael Jarshimar Myer Watashi

3: HYPSON, Miss Lauren Yokari Knew You Were Trouble

Open

1: DUNHILL-HALL, Miss M Ch Vormund Vivienne Westwood, true shiba type and a delightful head and expression, she is the correct shape and is balanced on the stack. Moved out well but just seemed to have left her clothes at home today and so had to pay the price.

2: GREENWOOD, Mrs Rachael Jarshimar Myer Watashi

Veteran

1: GREENWOOD, Mrs Rachael Amivike's Mia Magic At Jarshimar, nearly 9-year-old and not showing any signs of aging except she is just a tad portly. A real credit to her owner and she was in super coat.
