Thank you to the Officers and Committee at SKC for the invitation to Judge Chihuahua (Long Coat). This was the first time I have awarded CCs to a breed other than my own, so it was very special appointment for me. Thank you to all the exhibitors for entering under me, I thoroughly enjoyed my day in the ring with some hair-splitting decisions. Thank you also to my stewards for the day Yvonne and Les for keeping me on track.
Minor Puppy Dog (6 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: HORNBY’s Bramerita Hallelujah – 7 month baby boy who is at his first show and thoroughly enjoying his time in the ring. Nice large round dark eyes with a moderate length of muzzle and well placed ears. Good neck and shoulders and a level topline with a well proportioned body. He moved with verve and enthusiasm. Lost out for best puppy dog to a more mature boy but I will certainly watch his career with interest. He is certainly a big personality in a small package.
2nd: NEWBERY’ s Hermosoangel's Gypsy King – 6 ½ month old black and tan boy who was another at his first show. Pleasing head and expression with nice large ears and a well domed skull. Ample neck, good topline and tailset, good hind angulation that he used to advantage as he briskly moved round the ring.
3rd: TODD-MCCOID’s Neil Di San Gimignano At Rubyanlo (imp Ita)
Puppy Dog (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: HEAPPALMER’s Maciendas Atum – well furnished boy of nearly 12 month. Lovely dome skull and neat muzzle, well defined stop and ears were well set with an excellent size. Level topline with a well proportioned body and a well set on tail. He had nice neat feet and good pastern. He excelled in hind angulation with his used to advantage as he moved with attitude round the ring keeping a pleasing outline.
2nd: RUSSELL’s Chirouxe Hallo Spaceboy – another who was full of character. His head and expression was full of ‘cheekiness’ nice dark eyes and nose pigment with a nicely rounded skull. Good neck and shoulders, level topline and a well carried tail. Nicely bodied for his age and moved with drive round the ring.
Junior Dog (4 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: HEAPPALMER’s Maciendas Ra – nearly 12 months old, who I think was litter brother of the Puppy Dog class winner. He was presented to perfection with a nice quality coat of good texture. He had a lovely cheeky expression with large round well placed dark eyes, good earset with nice large flaring ears. Nice short muzzle with a well defined stop and gently domed head. Ample bone and nice neat feet. Good lay of shoulder and well bent stifle. He has well balanced body and a good spring of rib. Nice tailset and good topline that he held both standing and on the move. Thought he was lovely and couldn’t deny him Best Puppy Dog and Best Puppy in Breed.
2nd: KELLY’s Francine Frapachi Li'l Joe – 14 month old boy who is another full of character. Noce overall size and shape. Nice dark eye and nose pigment well placed ears and good dome to skull. Ample arch of neck and nicely boned and good shoulder placement. Level topline and good tail placement and carriage. Moved true both coming and going.
3rd: LEE’s Ugo Boss De L'isle Au Vert Coteau
Post Graduate Dog (5 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: TODD-MCCOID, Rubyanlo Te Amo JW – 20 month old boy who is full of personality. Shown in a lovely coat of gleaming condition. Pleasing head and expression with short muzzle and a well defined stop and nice dome to his skull and OK ear placement. Well bodied with a good spring of rib and level topline and well placed tail carried correctly both standing and on the move. Good rear angulation that he used to advantage to drive round the ring.
2nd: HUMPHREYS, Amarantos Meet Joe Black – Another boy full of character and shown in pristine condition. Nice expression framed by well set ears and well rounded dark sparkling eyes. Ample reach of neck and good front and rear angulation. Moved round the ring keeping a pleasing outline and a correctly held tail.
3rd: MARTIN, Leathea's Rockstar Dj
Limit Dog (5 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: TODD-MCCOID’s Rubyanlo Close Call – What a showman this 2 year old boy is. He certainly has a presence that you can’t deny especially when you catch him with that gently wagging tail, a boy that obviously enjoys the job in hand and adores his young handler. Presented in absolutely pristine condition, not a hair out of place. Beautiful head framed by large well set ears. Good depth to his pigment and nicely rounded eyes, gentle but masculine head and expression. Slight arch to his neck with excellent front and rear angulation. Body of correct proportions and good spring of rib. Small dainty feet with nice bone for his size. Level topline and correct tailset. He is so attentive to his handler and he couldn’t take his eyes of her and I couldn’t take my eyes off him especially as he confidently moved round the ring. A quality boy that stood out in the line-up and couldn’t be denied the CC.
2nd: PATTERSON’s I'm A Dream Dancing On The Rainbow (imp Italy) – 22 month old who ticked a number of boxes for me. He had a lovely head shape with a tapering muzzle good clean lips and a lovely saucy expression. Excellent bone for his size and good neat feet and good front and rear angulation. Another who was presented in lovely coat and gleaming condition. Good spring of rib and well balanced overall body shape. He has a level topline and correct tail set. At times he was a bit overawed by the noisy surroundings. He is a quality boy that I called back in for consideration for the Res CC.

Open Dog (6 Entries) Abs: 2
1st: HUNTLEY’s Jahneemahs Eye Candy – 2 year old with a lovely coat of good texture. Overall he is a well balanced boy who keeps a nice outline both standing and on the move. Saucy expression with well placed eyes of good size and framed by nice ear set and nicely domed head. Good neck and shoulders, level topline and good tailset . He has excellent front and rear angulation with good bone. He moved confidently round the ring with plenty of drive from his hindquarters.
2nd: SANGSTER’s Kirlasidh Young Pretender JW – my notes say that this young boy just didn’t have his mind on the job today! Good head and expression with lovely large well placed eyes and good dome of skull. Well boned and good angulation both front and rear. Well coated and attractively marked. He is flash on the move with good reach and drive,
3rd: KARAPANAGIOTIDIS’s Aris Grand Ch.gr Daigo Red Charlie
Veteran Dog (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: HUMPHREYS’ s Ch Amarantos Tobin – 8 year old chap who I have to say pulled at my heart strings. He is the ultimate show man who certainly won the prize for the dog the judge would most like to take home, I have a soft spot for veterans. He was shown in absolutely pristine coat and condition. He has the most exquisite head with large correctly placed dark eyes, ones that you could certainly lose yourself in. Excellently set ears that are large and flaring. Lovely neck and shoulder placement and sporting a level topline and well place tail. He is propelled round the ring with fabulous hind angulation using his very neat feet. He moved round the ring with a great aplomb and attitude almost playing to his crowd. Thank you for the opportunity to judge him and I hope he has many more wins to come. I couldn’t deny him the Res CC and Best Veteran in Breed.
2nd: FRASER’s Bear Necessities By Chirouxe – well coated 10 year old boy. Very kind and gentle expression with nice short muzzle and well defined stop. Well rounded eyes of nice dark colour and good nose pigment and nicely domed skull. Well bodied and boned. He moved round the ring well with plenty of drive.
Special Beginners Dog (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: LOGAN’s Xamarin Leo Valentina – 12 month old boy who excelled for his size and shape. Nice head proportions an with a well rounded skull and nicely flaring ears. Good neck and shoulders and a level topline. Moved round the ring well with a good hind angulation. Well handled by his young owner.

1st: SYMON’s Bramerita Here's Trouble At Charabri – 6 year old boy who was shown in lovely coat of excellent condition. Pleasing head and expression and well placed ears and a nicely domed skull. Ample bone and good front and rear angulation, level topline and a well proportioned body. Moved well from all angles.

1st: PART’s Starceylon Moon Flower At Fairywings – ultra feminine baby of just 6 months attending her first show. She has a lovely head and expression with a correctly proportioned muzzle and well defined muzzle and correct dentition. Dark expressive eyes with correctly placed ears of nice size. Neat feet and good bone with good front and rear angulation. Good body for her age. Moved round the ring with spirit, an exciting prospect.
2nd: WILCOX & LANE’s Bramerita Angel Dust – Another baby of 6 months who has similar qualities to the winner. Pleasing head and expression with a nicely domed head and good earset. Well proportioned body and good spring of rib. Excelling in hind angulation and moved well both coming and going.
3rd: FAIRBAIRN’s Tidos Summer Lovin
Puppy Bitch (4 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: TODD-MCCOID’s Rubyanlo Miss Molly – another quality exhibit from this kennel and expertly handled by her young owner. 10 months old and a lovely colour with her coat just coming through. She excels in her overall size and shape with fabulous hind angulation and positive movement. Well spring ribs and nice body proportions nice neck and shoulders. Pleasing feminine head and expression with lovely eyes with good ear set and ample muzzle and well defined stop. She pulled out all the stops against the lovely Minor Puppy to gain Best Puppy Bitch will watch her career with interest.
2nd: HOLLAND-SMITH’s Kirdanchi Le Ballet Giselle – well furnished and coated little girl. Pretty head and well set ears and correctly placed eyes of good size and shape. Good front and rear angulation and moves round the ring keeping a level topline and correctly set tail. Positive movement from all angles with correct body proportions.
3rd: RICHARDS’s Ismirelle Lady Of Glen Garr
Junior Bitch (6 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: DAY’s Ch Monicachi Queen Of Diamonds JW – 17 month old girl who is schooled to absolute perfection. She has the prettiest of heads and expressions with a moderately long muzzle and correct bite. She has for me the most fabulous eyes, very expressive and perfectly round and dark. The type of eyes you could easily lose yourself in. Perfectly set ears that are large and flaring framing a nicely domed skull. She is exceptionally well balanced with good front and rear angulation, good body proportions and lovely spring of rib. She has a lovely coat with the nicest of soft textures and enough feathering on the correct places. She moved round the ring with such aplomb and was always showed to advantage and very attentive to her handler. She powered round the ring with a very busy and brisk action with good parallel movement. I knew in the class she was my one to beat for the girls and set the benchmark. I couldn’t deny her the CC and she pulled out all the stops against the stunning boy and couldn’t deny her BoB. She certainly stole my heart, and I will watch her career with great interest.
2nd: ROBSON’s Tidos Honey Pot – what a character this little girl is, she is full of mischief and made me smile. Another with lovely eyes and excellent ear placement and of good size and shape. Another one who has a well balanced body nice reach of neck and a good spring of rib. Coat was nice and soft with all the correct feathering. She moved round the ring with attitude keeping a nice outline with a level topline and tailset.

Post Graduate Bitch (5 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: TODD-MCCOID’s Rubyanlo Showens Stjarna – 20 month old who was beautifully presented with excellent coat of lovely condition. She most attractive head with large dark eyes and excellent earset with a well domed skull. Moderate slightly arched neck and excellent shoulder placement. She has a very well balanced body with a lovely spring of rib, well muscled hindquarters that gave him a lovely free flowing action round the ring keeping her level topline and excellent tailset. Well let down hocks that she used to advantage as she moved true both coming and going. Another one who was a cheeky character.
2nd: KERR’ Vanilla Sky Leo Valentina Of Kircyan (imp Svk) - Feminine well shaped skull with the darkest of eyes. Good shoulders and topline, nicely angulated hindquarters and well set on tail. Shown in good coat with nice furnishings

1st: RUSSELL’s Chirouxe Sunny Disposition – 3 year old who I have had pleasure of judging a couple of times before and I have done her well then. I just lover her overall size and shape. She has a beautiful feminine head and expression framed by large flaring her ears and a nicely domed skull. She had a good firm topline with ample bone and a good spring of rib. She is always shown in absolute pristine condition and her chocolate coat is always gleaming. She has a nice soft coat with good texture and the nice feathering in the correct places. She covers the ground with ease with a true brisk action. Shown and presented to perfection.
2nd: TODD-MCCOID’s Rubyanlo Magic Trix Jw – I had the pleasure of judging this girl previously when she was a minor puppy and she has matured well. She has a very pretty and well shaped head with nice dark eyes and nose pigment. Well placed ears which are nice and flared. She has excels in her hind angulation which she uses to her advantage, Keeping a level topline at all times with a well set tail. She is certainly a nice girl who had attitude to match.

Lovely class of girls that I was splitting hairs on my decisions.
1st: FOTHERGILL’s I'm A Dream Adeline Is My Name ( Imp Ita) – 2 year old who is the prettiest of bitches with a lovely feminine head and expression with a nice neat muzzle. Excellent ear set and carriage with a lovely apple dome and lovely dark expressive eyes. Good shoulders, topline and tail set and a moderately arched neck. Good bone and well sprung ribs for her age. She has ample coat which is presented to perfection and of a nice soft texture. For me she scored on the move with a lovely each action and she presents a lovely outline at all times. Very attentive to her handler and I couldn’t deny her the Reserve CC.
2nd: HORNBY’s Ch Denique Glory Be At Bramerita - shown in excellent coat and condition. She has the most attractive head with large dark eyes and excellent earset with a well domed skull. Moderate slightly arched neck and excellent shoulder placement. She has a very well balanced body with a lovely spring of rib, well muscled hindquarters that gave a free flowing action round the ring keeping her level topline and excellent tailset

1st: ROBSON’s Ch Jap Ch Go My Way Jp's Sherry Gold With Tidos - 8 year old who is pleasing in profile, nicely balanced all through. Lovely head and expression, dark eyes and well-placed ears. Pleasing forehand with well laid shoulders, firm topline and good tail set and carriage. Excellent hind angulation that she used to advantage going round the ring. Shown in lovely coat and body condition with plenty of furnishings. She is a credit to her owner for keeping her in such lovely condition.

1st: TURNBULL’s Ismirelle's Fendi (taf): - 17 month old with a pretty head, lovely eyes and large flaring well placed ears. Very good body with good spring of rib, level topline and well carried tail. Super coat and body condition, with plenty of furnishings. Smart and typical on the move and showed herself off to advantage. Delighted to award her Best Special Beginners.

1st: SYMON’s Jotolemar Time For A Change – nicely balanced girl with a well domed skull, dark eyes and large flaring ears set on well. Good body proportions with a good spring of rib and level topline. Good legs and feet, unfortunately she forgot to bring her clothes with her today but she certainly didn’t have anything to hide. Movement was sound with a brisk free flowing action.
