1st: 1720 BULL, Mrs Emma - Larkharbour Kawasaki At Gunnerbears – 10 month old bitch who I absolutely loved, she is so together already and this shows both static and on the move, she oozes balance from all angles already, she scores well in head and I found her head planes perfectly matched, her neck is of correct length and flows into well placed shoulders, I was very impressed in how strong her topline is for her tender age, she stands on strong well boned limbs and she is well angulated both fore and aft, her rear assembly is so strong and this pushed her round the ring with both power and poise, she was put down to the minute on presentation and was handled so well, I had no hesitation in giving her first place in this class and she went on to best puppy in breed and was shortlisted in a super puppy group, she is most certainly one to watch for the future.

2nd: 1724 LYNNYK, Ms Oksana - Zeus Black Legion (Imp Pol)- This 18 month old male is well off for size and substance and was presented in a super black jacket and was well presented throughout, he had a good head for skull and muzzle ratios but I would like his head planes better matched, he was well off for bone but would benefit from a tad more length of leg, his back is strong but for me he slopes off at the croup more than is ideal, he presented a good profile moving round the ring but on the up and down I felt his elbows could be tighter and he was toeing in at the front when coming.

1st: WILLIAMS, Miss E - Evrussky Black Widow (ai) – This was a super class of dogs, I was certainly spoilt for choice but when this young bitch entered the ring she really caught my eye and I was not disappointed on close inspection, she is so well balanced and stands four square presenting a super square shape on side profile, she does this naturally every time she stops, she scores well in head, her ratios are well matched, eyes are dark and set well, dentition correct and her ears are placed and used to her advantage, her neck is strong and flows well into her sloping shoulders, defined wither and firm top line, her loin is strong and her croup is broad, her tail is set on perfectly, for me she scored over 2 who just happens to be her dam for length of leg, I have judged her dam before and she is one of my favourites and the only thing I wanted a bit more of on her was length of leg and here we have it in her beautiful daughter. On the move this 18 month old bitch displays an energetic gait with near perfect footfall, she powers round the ring and is a joy to watch, she was presented and handled to perfection and I was pleased to award her Best Bitch and then Best of Breed, I am sure this young lady has a very bright future ahead of her. Well done.

2nd: WILLIAMS, Miss E - Proud Of Being Ava Gardner At Evrussky Imp – I have had the pleasure of judging this beautiful bitch before and have given her top honours so it was going to take something quite special to beat her today and I was very pleased to have found it in her own daughter, she has passed on so many of her qualities and more to her offspring, this bitch today at 6 years of age is still in tip top condition and presented in super muscle tone and a beautifully presented black jacket, she still has the wow factor for performance and moves round the ring with a well balanced energetic gait, she matches the finer points I have raised on 1 so well but I just found a tad more leg length in 1 that put her ahead of this super bitch today. Reserve Best Bitch. Congratulations to both owner and breeder of both these super bitches.

3rd: BULL, Mrs Emma - Evrussky Black Warrior At Gunnerbears (a.i) (ba1). I did not take notes on this male in the ring because he came third however he ended the day as my best male so I felt he deserved a critique even though it is from my memory rather than my notes. He was third in a very strong class for quality, he is a good sized male and fits the breed standard when it asks for a large imposing dog, he certainly is this, he is also well off for bone with strong straight limbs when viewed from any angle, he is balanced in angles throughout, he scores well in head, his neck is long and flows well into his well laid shoulder and he has that defined wither and a strong straight top line, he moved out well and was also presented and handled to perfection, at just 18 months he is as with most males not quite as mature as his sister, however when finished I am sure they will change places on many occasions. Best Dog, Best Opposite sex.
