Lovely lean head of correct proportions, ears of good length and set. Tight eye of good shape. Square construction, good depth and width all through. Correct oval bone. Moved with good extension, true coming and going.

Second – Mr M & Mrs C Sanderson Sh Ch Owlspoint Trouble At Mill Sh.cm Shcex Vw

Masculine head into strong conical neck. Nicely made shoulder. Good width all through, lovely underline showing minimal tuck-up. A typey male I’ve liked before but his rear movement let him down today.

Puppy Dog 1

First - Cllr J Rose Piccorino Pheasant Plucker

Lovely head on this pup. Good forechest with plenty of width all through. Well off for bone. Strong rear construction which gave plenty of drive. Correct topline and tail set.

Junior Dog 2 (1abs)

First  - Miss S Groves & Mr A Pipes Bushwacker Don Juan

At that awkward age where he needs to settle into his frame. Lean head with even mask. Good bone and feet. Square outline with correct topline.

Lovely masculine head, lean and of good length. Strong conical neck into well made shoulder. Good depth of chest, correct underline showing minimal tuck-up. Moved out well on tight feet. RBD RCC

Another lovely masculine head, showing correct proportions, nicely chiselled. Well off for bone and correct big feet. Nicely angulated rear. Moved out well, showing drive and extension.

Liked this dog, elegant with good width and depth. Correct angulation meant he could produce the extension drive from the rear enabled. Lean head with typical expression, showing divergent planes.

Second – Mrs L Forbes & Mr I Sladdon Canemamans Primo Al Fine JW

Longer cast male but has good width and depth. Well off for bone. Liked his head, lean with slight stop. Moved out well with drive from nicely angulated rear.

Loved the front on this dog, nicely angulated, good width with prominent sternum. Typical head, lean, nicely chiselled. Correct in underline and topline. Moved out well sound and true on good bone and feet.

Have judged this bitch before, today she had a sparkle about her. Move out so well for a veteran. Very typey, she has a lovely outline, super width through her chest. Feminine yet strong head. Good colour and coat. BV

Second  - Mrs J Chadwick Gunsyn Little Lies

Another bitch I have liked before. Finer type but so feminine. Lean head of correct proportions, eye of good shape and colour. Nicely angulated , good underline. Sound movement with drive. Lost her topline on the move today.

Puppy Bitch 3 (1Abs)

First – Mrs M J Critchley Bracciano Now or Never

Notes say a ‘cracking pup’. Scored in topline and croup. Typey head, so feminine, lean with chiselling, good eye shape and colour. Good construction produced super movement from this youngster. BP

Second – Mrs S Lawrence Bon Bon Bonny A Dream of Agatha

Lighter frame than 1. Another typey head of good proportions. Correct in topline and croup, minimal tuck up. Good depth of chest. Not the shoulder of 1 but moved soundly and true.

Junior Bitch 4 (2abs)

First – Miss R L & Miss P Steel Piccorino Per Piacere to Juhua

Close decision in this class, my first scored on her substance and shoulder angulation but would prefer more width between shoulder blades. Well off for depth, good width. Side gait good but needs to tighten in pastern.

Second – Miss D Beecham Inspirations Primavera at Rydonmist (Imp Swe)

Finer bitch than 1 and currently not the chest or shoulder construction but at that awkward age. Sweet feminine head. Moved soundly and with drive, feet could be tighter.

Lovely type and excellent movement. Has many of the qualities of my first place and will swap places I’m sure. Just would prefer tighter feet.

Movement, movement! The Bracco trot I’d been looking for, no stringing up or going too fast, it was effortless. Lean feminine head into moderate neck. Good angulation fore and aft. Correct topline and underline. Thick elastic skin and good coat. Correct oval bone and tight feet. Well deserved BB BCC BOB

Another quality bitch. Super shoulder construction showing good length and angulation of upper arm. Strong oval bone. Good depth and width with skirt evident. Moved soundly with good extension but a little down on her pasterns today.
