Breed: Chinese Crested
A sincere thank you to the Officers and Committee for inviting me to award my first set of CC’s at Leeds Championship Show, the weather was beautiful and the dogs enjoyed their day in the sun. Thank You to my two stewards who did a wonderful job of keeping everything in order and running smoothly, and to all the exhibitors for their supported entries and for accepting my placing with grace. MPD (1) 1st: Vidler’s Apailana’s Gold Blend. This little chap was certainly enjoying himself, he was giving his handler a hard time so difficult to assess but finally saw enough to give him his class. PD (1) 1st: Piper’s, Milatory Split Decision For Zanjero. A well balanced hairless of good type and size, nicely balanced head with good furnishings a gentle expression and dark eye, skin was in lovely condition, elbows just need to tighten but moved out well both ways. BPIB JD (5) 1st: Moyes,Shaw’s & Hunter- Ryan’s The Star Man, A masculine male without being overdone, of good size and breed type, nice shape with lovely balanced head with correct dark eye and good dentition, well laid shoulder into straight front with good bone, nice furnishings perfectly groomed, moved out well holding good topline. 2nd: Godfrey, Peacock & Hellmuth’s Shumllea Imagina A Dream. A powerful puff of good overall quality with nice textured veil coat, I wouldn’t want him any bigger, lovely head properties with a nice dark eye and well set ears which he carried well, moved out well and with purpose. PGD (4) 1st: Routledge’s Pullepaws Peruvian Party. A hairless of nice type and of good proportions, a lovely clean chiselled head with good crest, well bodied, nicely angulated hindquarters, moved out well holding good topline. 2nd: Peppett’s Way To Go Heybett, a nice outline, balanced head with a dark expressive eye, a good neck into a decent shoulder, moved well. LD (2) 1st: Loader’s Habiba Gotham Knight For Kettrice. A beautiful example of the breed both for type and size,a lovely headpiece masculine but no way overdone with good furnishings, lovely dark eye, ears correctly set used well, clean well laid shoulders into straight front with enough bone,a nicely angulated rear with good muscle, skin smooth and supple, movement showing good reach and drive holding nice topline, pleased to award him the DCC, BOB 2nd: Peppett’s Keep Trying Heybett, nice headpiece with a dark alert eyes, decent forehand with some breadth, good furnishings, moved well. OD (4) 1st: Crow’s Ch Kojiki’s The Look Of Love At Casacavallo JW. Beautifully presented, masculine, good for size with lovely head, dark eye and well set ears he used well, excellent skin, moved with great style showing excellent reach and drive. 2nd: Farquharson’s Shanshal Prince Of Arabia JW. A nice powder puff with the correct coat, decent for size and type, pleasing head qualities with nice flaring ears, moved out well, just preferred the overall performance of 1. VD (2) 1st:Crow’s Estillinis Silver Surfer At Casacavallo JW (Imp Swe). He certainly could teach the younger ones a thing or to, loved his head shrouded with excellent furnishings, it was masculine but not over done with correct head to muzzle ratio, a lovely dark eye gave a pleasing expression, good bone and spring of rib, a well muscled rear with good angles presented a nice picture, moved around the ring with purpose. RDCC, pleased to see he later went on to take TVG1 2nd: Frame’s Elfallons Little Dragon, in beautiful condition, good for size and type, a decent head and expression, moved out well. JB (1) 1st Moyes, Shaw and Hunter-Ryan’s Bryelis Oh I Wannabe Famous JW A very pretty headpiece with nice expression, well balanced, good for size and of good breed type, moved true holding a good topline with correct tail carriage. PGB (3) 1st: Kirkwood’s Bryelis Star A’traction JW (Imp Fin) pretty girl with balanced head of good proportions, dark eye of correct shape, good reach of neck and clean front, well bodied, moved well 2nd: O’Sullivan’s Cladary Triumph History Star (Imp Lva) LB (8) 1st: Gwynne’s Isobel Delissa Crystal Avec Chezic ( Imp Cze) A beautiful powderpuff with a correct veil coat, a lovely pretty feminine head and soft expression, dark eyes of correct shape full of sparkle, good neck and shoulder placement with straight front, overall presents a good outline with long neck and clean shoulders, moved soundly away and back holding a good topline and correct tail carriage, in the challenge she did all her handler asked and I was pleased to award her the BCC, I was informed later that this was her crowning CC. 2nd: Vidler’s Koroleva Balemila With Apailana, this was another quality powderpuff with a super veil coat, nice for size and balance with typical outline, delightful quality headpiece, moved well. OB (3) 1st: Dixon’s Ch Jean Dark Carolina Rose Avec Debrita (Imp Swe) a glamorous Mahogany laced bitch of beautiful quality, type and of correct size superbly presented, a very pretty balanced head carried very proudly on enough neck, sparkling dark eyes and ears correctly set used well, good dentition, skin in super condition, excellent furnishings movement was free and with purpose both ways. RBCC 2nd: Proctor & MCGowan’s Pufflepaws Prosecco Please. A quality bitch of breed type, good for size and overall balance, pleasing in head could be a shade leaner in muzzle,nice expression, well rounded rump with good angulation, moved out well, just preferred the front movement on 1 today. VB (2) 1st: Frame’s Ch Myvallo Inclined To Dance At Elfallons, a 9 year old, appealed for both breed type and quality, moved well with good hind action, lovely head proportions with pleasing expression, moved well both ways. 2nd: Wilson’s Ch Habiba Chasing Rainbows, a well deserving champion, pleasing in head and expression, a nice breadth of chest, good rounded hindquarters, moved OK but didn’t have the sparkle of 1 today.
