1 Sandiford’s Hernwood Rocket Man. Best Puppy. Well grown for age with lovely, typical, well-balanced outline. Nicely balanced head with dark eye colour & intelligent expression. Excellent angulation fore & aft. Good width of upper & lower thigh. Nice topline and good bone. Moved well, really striding out covering the ground well on neat feet.

2 Miller’s Cafotaliena Heart Of A Hero. Not quite as mature in outline but well-made throughout. Well balanced head but lacking a little in stop. Good coat colour throughout. Moved a little close behind.

1 Harrison-Street’s Ronaldsbill Trail Blazer At Bridgemere. Nicely matured for age. Pleasing skull & muzzle shape, dark brown eye and large open nose. Nice depth of muzzle. Good set on & length of ear. Sufficient length & strength of neck. Good depth of chest; well let-down hocks. Nice topline & good width of upper & lower thigh. Moved covering the ground well on good feet but a little close behind on the move.

1 Tait’s Forester's Northern Light Of Darkmoor At Muckhart. Res CC. Most mature all-through with beautiful head. Nice colour of tan on coat. Lovely masculine head but not overdone in any way. Good skull to muzzle ratio, dark expressive eyes & large open nose. Pleasing set-on & length of ears. Excellent lay of shoulder, return of upperarm & forechest. Ribs well sprung going well back to strong loin. Excellent bend of stifle & well let down hocks. Moved soundly both coming and going.

2 Collins-Pitman & Cox’s Amscot Air Apparent. Close up to 1. Presents a lovely outline. Attractive head & eye. Nice depth of muzzle & width of skull. Excellent neck, lay of shoulder & return of upperarm. Good depth of chest. Nicely angulated rear quarters. Well let down hocks. Moved well both coming and going.

1 Millar’s Yennadon Calvay JW. Very workmanlike both standing & on the move. Pleasing, typical outline. Shown in good coat & muscular condition. Masculine head, nice eye & markings; large open nose. Excellent angulation fore & aft. Good length & width of upper & lower thigh. Excellent spring of rib & strong loin. Good topline & correct flat bone. Moved soundly covering the ground well.

2 Johnston’s Ludstar Maccabee At Glenquin (IMP ITA). Another nice type shown in excellent coat & condition. Pleasing dark eye & intelligent expression. Good width of skull compared to muzzle. Excellent flat bone. Good angulation fore & aft. Correct strong topline. Well let down hocks. Moved soundly infront and behind.

3 Harrison-Street’s Paradise Picking Parsley

1 Halliday’s Yennadon Barra SGWC JW. Won on overall outline & movement. Lovely masculine head with nice eye shape & colour. Excellent width of skull; good depth of muzzle. Nice length & strength of neck. Excellent lay of shoulder & return of upperarm. Good flat bone; excellent depth of chest, spring of rib with ribcage leading to nice strong, wide loin. Well let down hocks. Good width of upper & lower thigh; excellent bend of stifle. Good topline, tailset and carriage of tail. Moved well. Nice coat colour & shown in muscular condition.

2 Phillips, Watkins & Miles’s Sh Ch Glenmaurangi Mandalorian JW. Another nice type with lovely head & large open nose; lean above and below eye. Good flat bone. Excellent depth of chest & spring of rib. Good width of upper & lower thigh. Coat of good colour throughout. Moved a little close behind.

1 Harker’s Sh Ch Hernwood Achilles At Ettrick JW. CC & Best Veteran. Best outline & head in this class. Lovely eye & expression; large open nose. Good depth of muzzle & width of skull but nothing overdone. Pleasing overall length of head; nice length and set on of ears. Excellent length and strength of neck. Good angulation fore & aft. Excellent spring of rib with ribcage leading to strong loin. Correct topline; good bone & lovely coat colour throughout. Moved soundly infront and behind, really covering the ground well.

2 Millar’s Sh Ch Yennadon Benriach JW ShCEx. A smaller type and pleasing in outline. Well-constructed throughout. Nice eye & expression. Good width of skull. Excellent spring of rib. Well let-down hocks. Moved soundly.

3 Munro’s Hernwood Northern Adonis Of Dulmaur

1 Phillips & Watkins’s Flaxheath Cover Girl. Caught my eye on entering the ring. Lovely outline & shown in superb coat & condition. Well balanced head with sufficient strength in skull & muzzle yet still feminine. Nice eye & expression; good earset. Nice neck, lay of shoulder & return of upperarm. Excellent forechest, nice flat bone & well-arched feet. Excellent spring of rib for age going well back to strong loin. Excellent bend of stifle. Nice topline & tail set. Moved soundly.

2 Sandiford’s Hernwood Eternal Flame. Not as mature as 1 but has all the essentials. Nice eye & expression. Good coat colour. Excellent bone & feet. Nice neck. Good angulation fore & aft. Moved covering the ground well.

1 Green’s Balnakeil Creag Rainich. Nice bitch shown in excellent coat & muscular condition. Lovely feminine head with good depth of muzzle & width of skull. Lovely expressive eyes. Good length & strength of neck. Excellent forechest. Good lay of shoulder & return of upperarm. Nice topline. Good width of upper & lower thigh; well let down hocks. Moved well both coming and going.

1 Ackerley-Kemp’s Yennadon Highland Heidi. So well-developed with lovely outline. Pleasing head, eye & expression. Nice coat & colour. Good depth of chest & spring of rib going back to strong loin. Excellent width of upper & lower thigh; well let down hocks. Good flat bone. Would just like more return of upperarm. Moved well both coming and going and really covering the ground well.

2 Smith’s Myreside Niamh With Clacorick. Another nice type, not quite as mature as 1 & a little shy on being handled. Lovely head, eye & expression with large open nose. Nice earset. Excellent angulation fore & aft. Excellent spring of rib. Good coat & colour. Moved well both coming and going.

3 McFarlane’s Ardnadam Willow Coppice

1 Horn’s Ordett Love Me Do At Keaswood JW. Preferred front movement of my winner. Lovely outline with pleasing feminine head displaying good depth of muzzle & width of skull. Nice topline & tailset. Excellent spring of rib going back to strong loin. Good width of upper & lower thigh; good flat bone and well let down hocks. Nice coat & colour. Shown in good muscular condition. Strode out well on the move on good feet.

2 Sandiford & Lewis’s Hernwood Gin Fizz JW. Lovely outline & shown in excellent coat & condition. Just let down by erratic front movement today. Nicely balanced in head with lovely eye & expression; lean above and below eyes. Pleasing flat bone, strong topline & well let down chest.

1 Phillips & Watkins’s Sh Ch Flaxheath Top Model At Glenmaurangi. CC & BOB. I was thrilled to watch her win the Gundog Group. Stood out in this class. Lovely type with all the essentials. Well balanced feminine head with large open nose. Good depth & width of muzzle. Correct slightly rounded skull of good width. Nice dark eye & intelligent expression. Good earset & length. Excellent forechest, lay of shoulder & return of upperarm. Excellent spring of rib going back to strong, wide loin. Good width of upper & lower thigh. Well let down hocks. Good topline & tailset. Excellent coat texture and colour & shown in pleasing muscular condition. Strode out well on the move, really covering the ground well with each stride.

2 Mappin’s Bryerdale Qookaburra (AI). Another one which covered the ground well on the move really striding out infront & driving from the rear. Well balanced head with dark eye. Good flat bone. Excellent angulation fore & aft. Well let down hocks. Nice topline. Good coat texture and colour. Just preferred the overall work in the head of 1.

Lovely head with nice eye & intelligent expression. Lean above and below the eyes. Large open nose; lovely earset & length. Excellent angulation fore & aft. Good flat bone. Excellent spring of rib and good bend of stifle. Well let down hocks. Moved well both coming & going.

2 Harrison’s Paradise Final Fling. Another nice type just not quite the movement of 1. Nice head with good width of skull and pleasing depth of muzzle. Nice length of strength of neck; good flat bone. Nice coat & colour. Excellent spring of rib going back to strong loin.
