The English Ibizan Hound Club Championship Show – 5th October 2024 Special Award Classes My thanks to the Club for asking me to do these classes and to the exhibitors for bringing their lovely hounds. Yearling D or B (1) 1. King’s Dicaprio at Santantoni(impLTU) attractive male nearly all white with chestnut patches to his head, he was a bit of a handful & led his handler a merry dance that’s for sure. Impressed for size & type, lean head of equal balance, good ear placement & erect which in profile were nicely lined with neck, nice flat skull, oval eyes with good expression, good bite & strong muzzle. Powerful dog who showed great flexibility & when settled struck a nice outline, strong neck, complementing moderate front & rear, strong loin, pasterns & feet were good, pin-bones positioned nicely & slight slope to croup, carries his tail very high over his back & is over exuberant, when he calms he can move with quite a nice action, is a work in progress. OpenDorB(8)3abs 1. Hall’s Ch Afilador Wheal Grace AnCh22, Anch23, CW24, Cen. Ch, Cen.w. Cw22 elegant & very nice type of bitch, finely built chestnut/white she felt very smooth underhand, expressive oval amber coloured eyes, good ear placement & of good size, most feminine & balanced head of equal proportions, nicely coupled, level back, flat ribbing & of correct depth & tucking up nicely to her loin, moderate front & rear, good length of second thigh, finely boned with correct pasterns & neat arched feet, her construction gave movement as expected reaching nicely & cleanly in front with an even controlled gait. 2. Carter’s Nevaeh’s Radica lDude (impUSA)handsome chestnut/white male of good size, appealing with very typical head, nice flat skull, ears of good size & placed well but tends to drop them, displays a good outline from his strong arched neck through his body, breastbone prominent, complementing front & rear, nice ribbing & tuck-up, good flat bone of strength, quite a powerful dog, tail of good length, took oa with nice even gait & certainly looked a hunting hound. 3.
