1st: Parker`s KANTILOU MISCHIEF 3 years Basset Bleu De Gascogne,

Very handsome head with lovely expression and dark eye .Correct overall balance with good length and ribbing ,good front and hind co-ordination, kept his topline well on the move, nice tail ,set and carriage.

1st: Stanley`s COVEHITHE STEAM BOAT WILLY

Super 6 years old Black and Tan Coonhound, upstanding, impressive, masculine Hound who looked the part as soon as he entered the ring.

He looked good standing and moved so soundly with long striding , easy true gait. I have only seen him from the ringside and I was pleased that he really is a lovely dog to go over and for me was an easy winner today. In grand condition ,in his prime.

2nd: Parker`s KANTILOU MADNESS ,Basset Bleu De Gascogne,

3years litter brother to previous class winner. A very smart chap who was unlucky to meet above today.

I liked his head and eye with excellent expression. Well constructed throughout with good tail set and carriage, sound front and rear moving with great purpose and drive behind ,lovely topline. Just preferred him on the move to his brother in the challenge to win Res Best Dog.

Puppy Bitch.1

1st: Lloyd`s U`DESIREE DE LA CHAUME A RATE AT NINEBARK NAF Grand Bleu De Gascogne.

8 months, very stylish youngster, pretty head and dark eye, looked well standing with nice outline and topline. Has a lot to like about her but very underweight today which spoilt the overall picture, well balanced with sound , easy movement. Still a baby who needs to fill her frame. I like the breed and will watch her future with interest.

Post Graduate Bitch. 3

1st: Searle`s STONEMARTIN BRON. Azawakh.

Very elegant at only 18 months, still very immature but has good overall style and conformation. Long narrow head and dark eye, she has correct front and hind co-ordination. Well bodied with light easy movement. Feminine throughout, promising youngster.

2nd: Stanley`s RAEKUNE MISS DAISY. Black and Tan Coonhound.

2 ½ years old and unfortunately a little apprehensive today, she is mature, well bodied and has good overall balance and soundly made throughout. I would like a slightly darker eye but she has good presence and style and when settled she moved soundly front and rear. Well bodied with good bone and feet. Tail ,set and carriage correct.

1st:Gunn`s STONEMARTIN AILBE WITH KATANGA {IKC}

Lovely 4 years Azawakh, feminine throughout with super head and eye, fine neck into correct lean and long shoulders, correct upper arm and pastern. Good feet. Super overall balance , ribbing and topline, nice tuck-up. Great breed type. From the same breeder as previous class winner she is more mature and settled and a pleasure to judge. Lovely temperament.

2nd: Parker`s KANTILOU MERRIMENT Basset Bleu De Gascogne

Another litter mate to the previous males, she is more mature and settled. The more I judged the breed the more I liked them.

Very pleasing head and dark eye, lovely expression, good neck into well laid shoulders, deep brisket and correct ribbing and length. She kept her topline well on the move and she has sound, true hind movement with low set hocks. Good tail, set and carried correctly. Super mover and well handled. Res Best Bitch.

Veteran Bitch 1

1st: Dale & Sexton`s OAK HILL`S LADY LIBERTY {IMP USA} Black and Tan Coonhound.

At 8 ½ years a very nice bitch who has just started to be shown, not at all good in the heat today but she is very nicely constructed throughout with a lovely head and dark eye. She has excellent substance, bone and feet, moved soundly, just needs to muscle up a bit to give her a more purposeful stride. Excellent topline. Best Veteran.
