 A.V.N.S.C. Hound Post Graduate Dog. 1

1st: Preece`s HURRICANE DORIAN

6 years black Greyhound ,neutered male who is tall for an obvious ex-racer. He has good length and height, well balanced head and dark eye. Front and hind co-ordination could be better, rather too steep in fallaway so he lacks drive behind. Well bodied with good depth and topline, well ribbed back.

1st: Woodgate. Boggia & De-Souza`s XANDU KHAN SCHURU-ESCH-SCHAMS {IMP}.

6 years Sloughi, one I have always admired and really is top draw. In fine form and a credit to his breed, he is elegant and so sound throughout, when you read the breed standard he really does tick every box and I was pleased to award him Best A.V.N.S.C. Hound. Very thrilled to see him short-listed in the Group and surprised that this does happen more often.

2nd: Carter`s NEVAEH`S RADICAL DUDE {IMP USA}

Very handsome 4 years Ibizan Hound, masculine throughout with lovely head and eye, great expression, excellent ears and set, neck flows nicely into correct well laid shoulders. Good length and ribbing, excellent front and hind co=ordination with lovely outline and he kept his topline well at all times.

Looked great standing and at first glance was my winner and very unlucky to meet the Sloughi as they are both great representatives of their respective breeds but not as settled on the move as above today.Res BD

Junior Bitch .1

1st: Taylor`s GRACEMINSTER RYHME.

13 months Bloodhound, well balanced feminine head, good length of neck into well laid shoulders. Deep brisket with well sprung ribs, correct length, overall balance and topline. Good length of thigh and low set hocks. Tail and set correct and well carried on the move.

In grand condition and although still a little loose on the move she has good style and presence.

1st: Carter`s AABIDAH DE POLVO MAGIC {IMP AUT}

Only 20 months Sloughi and although still immature she is a very pretty , well constructed Hound. Feminine throughout with excellent outline and sound front and rear.Just a little apprehensive on the move today. Best Bitch.

Veteran Bitch .2

1st: Carters CH.AFILADOR ROOM ON THE BROOM ShCM ShCEx VW

9 years Ibizan Hound , lovely head ,eye and correct ears ,a grand old lady who is in great condition. Sound front and rear, well bodied, short coupled with good tuck-up and correct depth and ribbing, nice feet and pasterns, moderate hind angulation. Had to make way for the smashing young Sloughi today. Res BB and Best Veteran.

2nd: Carters AMAHTE`S BEWITCHED VW {IMP CAN}

Another excellent Ibizan, 11 years old dam of above and she must have been a very claasy youngster, still sound throughout with excellent overall balance and type. Still loving to show and obviously enjoying her day.
