SKC. Bracco Italiano

Thought this was a decent entry for SKC, nice to hear all winners applauded by the ringside. I thought the breed is quite varied in proportions, some were much longer than ‘almost square’ and others I found slightly too short. Heads also varied, some had parallel planes and some were very divergent. I guess the breed is still fairly new to the UK and there are lots on imports and bloodlines. However, I though the quality was very good.

D of v good proportions needs to gain more confidence. Lengthy head, correct width and planes. Enough neck. Forward in shoulder. V good body with a firm topline. Stands rather cow hocked at the moment, long stride. Just needs time and to strengthen up BP

1st: 4758 PEARSON, Mr Stuart & PEARSON, Mrs Carole Kelevra Bacchustabio

Nice young d who won on his v good stride, just needs to be slightly steadier. Masc head, eyes could be tighter. Medium neck. Deep chest. Quite good feet. Level topline. Well angulated rear.

2nd: 4766 WARBURTON, Mrs Victoria & WARBURTON, Mr Allan Owlspoint Loads Of Trouble At Heberhouse JW

Lined his proportions. He has a v good head. Shoulder well laid, deep chest. Topline is good. Needs to improve in hind action.

3rd: 4751 FAZENFIELD, Miss Lesley & SMITH, Mr Robert I Owlspoint Askin For Trouble

Liked his proportions.lengthy head with correct planes, would prefer better eyes. Ok neck. Forward in shoulder. Chest to elbow. Firm topline. He has a well bent stifle and low hocks. Tail is carried rather high and could have a more powerful hund action.

Liked his proportions, strong and fit d with super muscle. Lengthy head. V good planes could have a better shoulder. Super fill of chest. Firm in topline, well sprung ribs. Well made rear. He is accurate on the move and has a long stride. RCC

2nd: 4752 FORBES, Mrs Linda & SLADDEN, Mr I Canemamans Primo Al Fine JW

Still young and needs to mature just a bit more. He has a v good head, correct width, length and planes and a super expression. Has a v good neck and shoulder. Needs to fill in chest and be tidier coming towards. Topline is ok. Tad long in back. Moderate rear. Super stride.

Lovely d of super proportions. He has a v good head, planes slightly diverging. He has a lovely expression, so typical. Lengthy neck. Well laid shoulder with good return of upper arm. Feet could be tighter. He has a deep chest. Well ribbed back. Holds a v good topline. Super rear, full of muscle. Accurate mover with n elastic stride. Such a typy, quality d, CC & BOB

2nd: 4761 SANDERSON, Mrs Catherine & SANDERSON, Mr Mark Owlspoint Trouble Again JW

Strong and mature d in v good muscle. Liked his proportions. Lengthy head. Medium neck, the set is rather upright. Shoulder not as good as 1. Deep chest. Firm topline. Moderate rear with low hocks. Parallel mover.

Young veteran in good muscle. His planes are almost parallel. Lengthy neck with well laid shoulder and nice sloping upper arm run. Could be firmer in pasterns and feet. Well sprung rib. Little flat in croup. Well angulated rear. Fairly accurate out and back and has a lengthy stride. BV

V typy youngster who can firm in topline, however it is correct in the move. Liked her fem head. Planes are ok. Needs to firm in pastern. V good rear. Liked her free side gait. RCC

2nd: 4768 WEBBER, Mrs Lesley & SLADDEN, Mr Ian Paris Mon Tresore D'amoure (imp Pol)

Although older is raw looking and rather up in the air and short in back. She has a v good head. Long neck. Super feet. Chest to elbow. Firm in topline. Moderate rear.

2nd Webber & Sladden’s Valcor Killer Queen

She is a v good shape can still mature in body. Correct head planes. Long neck into a good shoulder. Super legs and feet. Firm in topline d. Just needs to develop in second thigh. Not as tidy out and back as 1, but she too has a long, elastic stride.

V good, typy b. Liked her outline. She has a long and fem head. Good neck,front is ok. Deep chest. Handler can tend to stand her too wide in front. Super topline. Liked her rear. A little untidy moving but has a long stride.

2nd: 4762 SANDERSON, Mrs Catherine & SANDERSON, Mr Mark Whitgun U'can't Touch This At Walwal JW

Looks a bit up in the air at the moment. She has a v good head, lovely eye and expression.well set ears. Lengthy neck. Just a bit forward in shoulder, deep chest. Firm in topline. Quite a good rear with low hocks.

Not much between these 2, although quite different.

Liked her clean lines, but would like her more muscled up. V good head. Medium neck. Well laid shoulder. Chest to elbow. Firm topline. Plenty of hind angulation with low hocks. Easy stride.

2nd: 4745 SMITH, Miss S & SMITH, Ms L Teverlarni Secret Dreams

Square looking b. She has a lengthy head with v good planes. Good length neck. Not quite the shoulder of 1. Long sloping upper arm. V good pasterns and feet. Chest to elbow. Just a bit long in second thigh.

Grand old girl of v good type. Her movement not a free as maybe it once was. She has a good head, fem with length. Plenty of neck. Pasterns a bit stack now. V balanced in her angulation.
