Crufts

Breed: Pharaoh Hound

Crufts. Pharaoh Hounds

A shame that there are so few males, but good so see some new and keen exhibitors, hope you enjoyed the show and will continue with us. This breed must be moderate and that was a big factor in my placings.

Veteran D. (1)

1ST 18276 - Ch Fantasa Dallas Maverick (Mrs R & Miss M S Collins & Dunhill-Hall)

Super 7 year old. Has a well shaped head with parallel planes. Long, arched neck. Well enough laid shoulder. Could be firmer in feet and pasterns. Fairly deep chest. Well ribbed. Firm in topline. Moderate rear. Super on the move. Fairly easy winner of CC. BV

Post grad d ne

Limit d ne

Open d (6,1)

Quite a varied class all with things to like.

1ST 18277 - Celt and Dac Sirius (Mr Rudy Dos Santos Marques)

This d is a v good mover, both in profile and out and back. He is just a bit long and could have a better underline. Masc head. V good ears. Lengthy neck. Well laid shoulder. Liked his moderation in rear. RCC

2ND 18284 - Bazinga Man On A Mission (Mr S Hansen)

V good in profile action but just a bit untidy out and back. Masc head. Lengthy neck. Chest to elbow. Level topline. Liked the moderation of his rear, which is where he scored over 3.

3RD 18281 - Ch/int/nor/swe/dk Ch Bazinga Gonna Be A Mighty King (Mr S Hansen)

Good citizen d ne

Veteran b (2)

Both v good quality.

1ST 18274 - Kurriera Krystal Amethyst (Ms Y, Ms M & Miss C Ashby, Cappelaere & Samways)

Liked her proportions and slightly better hind angulation than 2 without being overdone. Lengthy head with good planes. Long, crested neck. Chest to elbow. Well ribbed back. V quick and light in profile.

2ND 18302 - Ch Annatefkah Thema (Mr G & Mrs S Thomas)

She too is a v good mover. I liked her head. Long and crested neck. A little upright in front, but she is so v well balanced. Super body. V good topline.

Puppy b (3)

All very raw babies who need to settle to be gone over.

1ST 18296 - Doucai's Punch Tax Xahar (Mr T & Mr A Parkin-Mcgrath)

This was the best mover, with best topline and tail carriage. Fem head. Long neck. Balanced in her angulation. BP

2ND 18287 - Doucai`s Pixxispad (A & M Hartley & Cannon)

She has a better front and tail carriage than 3. Liked her head. Chest can drop. Moderate in her angulations.

3RD 18291 - Doucai's Fontana of Athanasius (Mr P & Mrs N Lloyd)

Junior b (4,2)

1ST 18296 - Doucai's Punch Tax Xahar (Mr T & Mr A Parkin-Mcgrath)

 2ND 18290 - Celt and Dac Unforgettable Love (Imp Fra) (Mrs A & Mr I Kelly-Pilgrim & Pilgrim)

Fem b with a good outline , needs to firm in pasterns and feet. Fem head, planes slightly off. Has an ok neck. Deep chest. Liked her rear. Lifts front rather high.

Post grad b (3)

1ST 18292 - Aramif Akila The Huney (Mr K Mills)

When she got settled moved v well with a light and quick stride. Prefer her head over 2. She has lovely eyes. Lengthy neck, well set into shoulders. Deep chest. Moderate rear.

2ND 18280 - Doucai's Principessa Xini (Mr R & Mrs P Falzon)

Similar in shape to 1, not quite as good in front action, but better topline than 3. Enough neck. Chest can drop. Liked her moderation.

3RD 18273 - Regina Alessandra (Ms Y Ashby)

Limit b (4)

1ST 18278 - Chipangali’s Anuket Florinas Diamond (Mr Rudy Dos Santos Marques)

Best mover in class, uses her tail just enough. Lengthy head. Long neck. I liked her balanced angulation. Chest is deep enough. Holds a level topline.

2ND 18294 - Doucai's Galetti (Mrs D Ostridge)

Liked her outline and size. Could be better in pastern. Has a good head. Enough neck. Topline is ok. Moderate in angulation.

3RD 18288 - Kurriera Sapphire Queen (A & M Hartley & Cannon)

Open b (8,2)

1ST 18285 - Bazinga Make Love Not War (Mr S T & Mrs L & Mr R Hansen & Stark & Stark)

Super b whose moderation I really liked. She is a very easy mover. Quite a good, fem head. Long neck into well laid shoulders. Chest to elbow. Well ribbed back and shorter in loin than 2. Correct rear. Accurate enough out and back and light in profile. So v correct for type. CC & BOB. Delighted to watch her win G4, well done.

2ND 18303 - Multi Ch Vaskurs Moni Maker Qiwidotter (Mr T & Mrs S Torres)

She is really good in profile action, quite spectacular. She has a v good head. Long neck. Quite a good front with super feet, deep and tight. Level in topline. Just a little too much hind angulation, but a quality b. RCC
