I enjoyed judging your Pons. I think the venue is ideal for this size show, very sporting ringside and the free buffet for all is a great idea, encouraging people to mix and enjoy their day. Sadly there were a few absentees. I thought the quality was pretty good and not a great divide, but also see that almost all the entries are bred in the same kennel. As the saying goes you got to be in it to win it.

Puppy D (1)

1. Squires’ Mybeards Starstruck

V promising pup of 7 mths. Correct proportions. Has a supergoo d head, well balanced, well shaped skull. Super pigment. Correct neck. Well laid shoulder. Chest to elbow. Well sprung ribs go well back to a short loin. Good rear. He is slightly higher the rear at this stage. Accurate mover with a well balanced stride. Hope fulfills this potential. RCC, BP

Langley’s Mybears Majestic

Well balanced typical d. Nice size to head, muzzle shorter than his skull. Good eyes. Could have a fraction more neck. His angulation is moderate but v well balanced. Liked his ribbing. Firm and level topline. Tail set a little high. Parallel mover with an even stride.

1. Hillier’s Mybears Zip

Liked his proportions of height to length. He has a masc head of correct size. Dark eyes. Excellent pigment. Medium neck. Shoulders could be slightly better laid. He has plenty of body. Well ribbed back. Firm in topline. Plenty of hind angulation. Accurate on the move with an even stride. Really good honest dog. CC & BIS. Congratulations on his title today.

2. Watson’s Mybears Kyon

He is slightly longer than 1 and could have a little more chest and body. He has a v good head. Liked size. Correct skull. Medium neck. Quite good angulation front and rear. Level topline. Tail set slightly high. Super coat texture.

Warwick & Wilkins’ Ch Mybears Cococabana

Not the biggest but a v well proportioned d. Quite a strong head. Muzzle fractionally shorter than skull. Medium neck. Slightly forward in shoulder. Super body and ribbing. Level topline. Tail set is a little high. Well made rear. Could just be more positive in out and back movement.

V fem 7mths who is v much a baby. She is v well put together but didn’t seen too happy with the poor. Well balanced in head, could have a little more stop. Correct medium neck. Good angulation. Well ribbed back. Just needs to firm in her topline. Good mover when settled.

1. Carter’s Mybeards Majestic

Lots to like about this b, she certainly isn’t small. Liked her proportions. Correct size head. Medium in stop. Good eyes and ears, could have a little more neck. Moderate lay of shoulder. Well sprung ribs which go well back. Level topline. Liked her tail set. Moderate rear. Accurate mover with a balanced stride. Coulld put a bit more effort in on the move. Coat of good texture, just a bit fuzzy.

Post grad b (3,2)

1. Heavens’ Rozmaryna Pastereczki

Liked her proportions and she shows so v well. Super head, fem and well balanced. right size,and a good stop. Super pigment. Could have a bit more neck. Well sprung ribs. Short enough in loin. Well made rear. Could just be firmer in topline. Super coat.

V good b who just lacks a bit of confidence. Super proportions and outline. Fem head. Could have a slightly shorter muzzle. Good stop. Medium neck. Shoulders are ok. Well sprung ribs that go v well back. Plenty of hind angulation. Could relax on the move, but accurate out and back. V good coat.

Liked her for size and proportions. V good easy mover. She has a well proportioned head. Dark eyes and super pigment. Medium neck. Long and sloping upper arm with quite a well laid shoulder. Well ribbed and bodied. Firm loin. Holds a strong topline. Liked head tail set. Coat could have a slightly better texture. Well muscled. RCC

2. Springthorpe’s Mybeards Starstruck

Smaller b, whose proportions are v good. She has a lovely head. Super pigment. Medium neck. Moderate and balanced angulation front and rear. Could be in harder condition. Super coat texture. Slight tendance to side wind on move.

Good class of oldies.

1. Shrieves’ Multi Ch Mybeards Hope

Really fem b who pulled out all the stops when it mattered. Liked her proportions, coat makes her look shorter on leg than she is. Super head. Enough neck. Long shoulder and upper arm. Well ribbed back. Firm in topline. Good rear. Tail set is ok. Accutate mover with a lengthy and balanced stride. Would prefer just a bit more of her, but perfectly balanced with the easy stride to work all day. CC & RBIS

2. Mottram’s Ch Mybeards Frappuchino

V good outline and proportions. She too has a v good head. Medium in neck. Well laid shoulder. Good spring of ribs. Level topline. Liked her rear. Accurate on move, could just stride out a little more, lovely b who was a real contender.
