German spitz klien.

Well done to the SUBC for their first championship show, a lot of hard work would of gone into getting to this point. Thank you for inviting me to judge.

Sadly there was a poor entry today and i thought id have to with hold if the dogs were not up to standard, thankfully The dogs that turned up did not disappoint so i didn’t have to do that. Its a very strange feeling with so few dogs entered when i remember years ago there were so many, i think its the norm now in many breeds and the cost of petrol and entries.

Limit Dog.

1st Rogerson’s Nosregor take it all. Black 2 year old, loved his head and ear shape so very spitzy. Correct stop and his ears are set nicely.Nice reach of neck and balanced a front and rear assembly. He moved correctly front and back with no exaggeration. In full coat and present well. Still only young so he needs to fill out a little more for me. RDCC.

Open dog. (2)

1st Moirs CH Jansaniels loud n proud. Light cream 9 years young, such a nice square dog with good bone and in full coat. Deep chest and well ribbed up nice strong neck.Lovely wedge shape head with ears of correct size and shape. This dog did not need trimming to give him his shape and at his age a little loss of pigment is to be expected and forgiven because of his super construction and shape.DCC.

2nd. Jackson and minshall’s Perrymere just berti. 6 year old darker cream than one. Nice coat texture .Nice size ears and set on nicely. Good dark pigment. He is of good size, but not square more of a rectangle and is very wide infront when he moves. His shoulders are not his fortune and the coat looked like it had been trimmed, a no no in spitz when i showed.His head shape is not spitzy enough for me either. I can only assume this dog is a champion by sheer luck.

I have never felt the need to be so negative about a dog but if you confront me and tell me you have travelled a long way and stayed in a hotel and then slate other peoples dogs this is what its come to.

Puppy bitch.

1st Hickson’s Claran court of delights at kichigai. Very nice size dark cream. Presented well and coat was a good texture. Has a lot of growing up to do but has a good wedge shape head and correct ear size and placement. Nice and short giving that square shape.Movement needs to settle a little but was ok when she did settle. Needs to fill out a little but still a baby.BP.

Post Grad Bitch.

1st. Holmes, Longdales miss holmes. Cream sable. Lovely to see new faces in the ring. This bitch has great bone and moves well front and back. Good chest and ribbed up nicely. Her ears are not her fortune or head but underneath she is constructed well. BSB.

Open Bitch.

1st. Rogerson CH Nosregor sister sledge. Cream of super quality and ring presence. Excellent shape and size .Loved her correct wedge head and dark pigment finished off with perfectly place ears. Good depth of chest and good shoulders. She is balanced and a very sound mover.BCC and BOB.Handle so well by her young handler.
