Scottish Utility Breeds Club Championship show Held at Springwood Park Kelso on the 13th July 2024

A very warm welcome awaited my arrival, unlike the weather which was undecided and overcast. I thoroughly enjoyed my day with your most precious companions.

At 9 months this young chap is showing good promise. Masculine head with dark almond-shaped eyes black pencil marking to the corner of ears. Excellent pigmentation. Nicely laid shoulders with ample front at this early stage. Good bone to tight round feet. Short muscular loin finished with a tightly curled tail set high BP

Class 125 PGD (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 293 GATE, Mr, Mrs & Miss Tn & Cl & Cm Winklestar Alnair Via Lacetrom

A Nicely sized boy although a tad short in mizzle to skull. Well-set ears, small and velvety to the touch. Good depth to ribs which extended nicely to short loin.

Class 126 LD (4 Entries) Abs: 0

A lovely class with more correct-sized dogs.

1st: 308 ROSE, Mrs Sharon & ROSE, Mr George Dianakeees Inspector Morse At Esorkees

This 2-year-old has more to come. Lovely size with a good masculine head, correct high set ears small and ivy-shaped. Dark medium-sized almond-shaped eyes complete with black pigmentation, strong muscular neck with large rough. Well-sprung ribs to muscular loin. High set tail curled tightly over back. On the move, he was clean and brisk. BD BOB

2nd: 306 MURRAY, Mrs S Flatmeer Fliegend

Very dark masculine head. No as enthusiastic as 1. Good tight round feet. Nicely sprung ribs with depth of chest. Enough bend to stifle he held a good shape on the move.

Class 127 OD (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 305 MURRAY, Mrs S Flatmeer Flightberry

Full of coat this young man was about to blow. Excellent head with expressive dark alert eyes. Moderate length of neck nicely laid shoulders, short muscular loin. He moved out at a steady trot sharp and straight.

Class 128 VD (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 295 HICKSON, Miss Natasha L & HICKSON, Mr Colin Ch Kichigai's Only The Lonley

At 10yrs he is still strutting his stuff. I have judged him before and extolled his virtues, his compact shape his confidence. He is a real credit to his owners. Today I felt the younger dog had the edge RCC

2nd: 303 MILES, Mrs Joan & CULLEN, Dr Kristen & CULLEN, Mrs Ch Rossvale's Legacy For Lekkerbek

This boy was showing his age and had seen it all before. He had a masculine head of correct proportions with a soft expression. Ample length of neck with enough rough.

Class 131 JB (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 299 MARFLEET, Ms Anji Flatmeer Fleur's Krystal

I loved her size and coat colour of mixed greys and black. She had an attractive feminine head with equal plains topped with smart erect ears like velvet to the touch. She had a bright alert expression with excellent pigmentation and black pencil lines. Ample length of neck with her coat forming abundant rough. Muscular loin to nicely angulated hindquarters. On the move, she had a brisk straight stride BCC

2nd: 307 PARKER, Mrs Ann Peeddiepies Heidi Fara

Pleasing head and markings ample depth of chest and spring of ribs. She had a tight curled tail over her back, lovely tight feet but not the mover of 1.

Class 133 LB (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 294 GATE, Mr, Mrs & Miss Tn & Cl & Cm Winklestar Alsephina Via Lacetrom JW

It was a close call for top honours. She had good clean head plains of equal measure defined stop and dark muzzle. Lovely bone to tight feet. She was shown in super condition with a profuse coat and trousers of good colour. RCC

Class 134 OB (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 298 MARFLEET, Ms Anji Flatmeer Fleur Dilly

A mature girl at the top end of height size. Appealing feminine head with dark

markings and clear penciling. Medium neck length and dense rough. Correct firm topline and muscular loin. She moved at a steady pace straight and true.

Class 135 VB (3 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 296 KERR, Mrs N Ch Caraspitz Good Luck Charm

Ultra feminine girl that's done it all before. Bright alert expression from dark almond-shaped eyes. Equal skull to muzzle lengths, well-placed shoulders, and ample bone to feet. Pleasantly filled chest and spring of ribs, short loin, nicely curled tail. She was clean and sharp on the move.

2nd: 300 MARFLEET, Ms Anji Flatmeer Fleurette

This young lady was still able to give her handler a run for her money at 12yrs she was very playful in attitude. Correct head of equal proportions, giving a fox-like wedge shape and dark muzzle. Enough length of neck and dense rough her coat was about to blow which makes it difficult to keep in show condition.
