1st: 3342 DANE, Mr Paul Spencer & GUERNARI, Ms Lisa Cynetkoy's Tinker Tailor

Much to like on this 2 year old dog, he has a shapely outline on the stack, nicely balanced and quite a charmer. Masculine head, skull slightly domed, good stop, strength and length to the foreface, and dark inquisitive eyes. Good length of neck, well developed in forechest and the brisket is down to the elbow. He stands on well boned limbs and tight feet. His topline is firm, level and finishing with a well set tail. Liked his hammy quarters, showing a good width of thigh and low set hocks. Beautifully presented in a rustic but harsh jacket and sympathetically handled. Gaiting freely, just needed a little more sparkle when he showed in the open class later on – Best Special Beginners, delighted to hear he went onto win Spec Begin Group 2 – Fabulous, many congratulations.

1st: 3347 REID, Mr P & Mrs D Maudaxi Billy Bookcase

Compact and sturdy tri dog, who is 10 months old today. A quality puppy who shows lots of promise, just needing time for it all to come together. Loved his overall balance when stood, compact and strong. Well furnished head, which is well proportioned with a good stop, and a delightful expression from his dark oval eyes. Good length of neck, liked his well developed body, it has depth and strength, with a prominent sternum. Looking a little bum high today. Strong hindquarters which he put to effective use to drive around the ring with enthusiasm and style. Well presented with a good coat texture. – PBD

1st: 3339 CROWE, Miss M & REID, Mr Phil & REID, Mrs Dianne Maudaxi Fonzie Foxtrot

Tri dog coming up 2 years of age, tended to be a little distracted at times, but showed to be of a nice overall size and shape. His head has the slight dome to the skull, well defined stop, a little shorter in foreface, a lovely dark kind eye and well placed leathers. Good length of neck flowing seamlessly into a firm and level topline. Enough forechest and depth of brisket with a decent spring to the ribcage. A little more moderate in rear angulation. Moving out well with good width behind and parallel. Shown in a good harsh jacket.

1st: 3341 DALGARNO, Mrs & Miss C Vencharno Stuck On You

Impressive and upstanding 2 year old grizzle & white dog, giving immediate appeal. He is a sturdy hound, harmonious in his proportions and with a smart flowing outline. Nicely balanced head, with slight doming to the backskull, low set ears of correct length, dark oval mischievous eyes. Strong neck flowing seamlessly into a firm topline and well set on tail. Brisket down to the elbow with straight forelegs and tight feet, ribs well sprung and carried well back. Strong hindquarters, with a good bend of stifle and width to the thighs. Well presented and moving out with lovely drive and panache – BD & BOS

2nd: 3340 DALGARNO, Mrs & Miss C Vencharno I Almost Had You

Tri dog, 4 years of age and older brother to winner. Again, much to like and similar in stature to winner. His outline is appealing as he has lovely poise when stood to present a shapely outline. Masculine head, of good proportions, keen dark eyes, with an inquisitive expression. Clean neck of good length, into a firm topline. Good depth and forechest, not quite the bone of winner. Strong well angulated hindquarters with hocks squarely set to the ground. Showed super drive in profile, but today preferred the front action on winner, but I was being picky! – RBD

1st: 3346 REID, Mr P & Mrs D Maudaxi Joanie Loves Chacha JW

Loved the attitude of this bitch who is coming up 2 years of age. A real wriggle bum and full of fun. When stood she presented a pleasing outline, liked her overall size shape and substance. She has the most delightful head and melting expression. Good length of neck flowing seamlessly into a firm and level topline. She has lovely development through the body, with a prominent sternum, well sprung ribcage which is down to the elbow. Would like a fraction more rear angulation, but she used her hindquarter to advantage to drive around the ring, being true fore and aft, with her head held high and ever wagging tail. Shown in a harsh jacket

Class 1652 OB (5 Entries) Abs: 0 – fabulous, top class bitches, so spoilt for choice, again I was splitting hairs, it is one of those classes where you wish you could award more than one first place!

1st: 3337 ALLENBY, Mrs Heidi & ALLENBY, Mr Richard Ch Soletrader Fun Times For Rangali JW

Super quality tri bitch coming up 3 years of age. Thought she was just delightful, so typically happy, and full of ‘joie de vivre.’ She has a lovely outline, so very balanced and with a flow from nose to tail. Balanced head shape of good proportions, dark oval eyes and gentle expression. Clean neck of good length flowing into a firm and level topline, for perfection would like a fraction less length, finishing with a well set on and used tail. Well developed through the body and hindquarters with a good width of thigh and bend to the stifle. Lovely to watch on the move, so proud in her carriage and confident in her demeanour. Moving out with style and super drive. Presented in good order in a jacket with a harsh texture. Delighted to award her BB & BOB, later going on to be shortlisted in a strong group - congratulations

2nd: 3338 COOPER, Miss C L & CADMORE, Mrs E Ch Soletrader Missy Elliott JW

Another quality bitch, with so much to admire. Of a slightly different stamp to winner, she is a tad more compact in her outline, and has a lovely silhouette when stood. Pleasing feminine head, nicely proportioned, with strength to the foreface, dark eyes and pigmentation giving a delightful expression. Neck of good length, well developed in forechest, clean straight front limbs onto neat feet. Firm in her topline, and deep in the ribcage to a well set on tail. Moderate hindquarters, with low set hocks. Put down in condition and with a harsh jacket. Beautifully handled to get the best out of her, moving clean and true both fore and aft - RBB
